309 Coffee Georgetown Reviews
This is a hidden gem of a place that i had no idea was even here! Met a friend here as she suggested it and I was so pleasantly surprised. As I pulled in I saw the large section in the back with picnic tables and children running around playing, there was a side and front section to sit and enjoy the outside as the weather was perfect and inside there were multiple areas to sit quietly on your laptop and work while sipping your beverage. There was so much more seating than I thought by just looking at the front of the building. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. My only complaint is that there's not as much parking so I'd you come and is busy, plan to park in the street and walk up. Definitely still worth it though! You can see that my friend really enjoyed her muffin... she had taken most of it out before I could snap a photo!
I’ve been meaning to visit this coffee shop for a while now, and wow—what a fantastic experience! The coffee is easily one of the best I’ve had in the city. It was incredibly creamy, with great texture and beautiful latte art. You can tell the baristas really know their craft. Plus, the person at the register was exceptionally kind, which made the visit even better. This is a must-visit for anyone who truly values a high-quality cup of coffee. My husband coffe pic!
Amazing! I’m a coffee snob and the iced latte is beyond delicious. This place is packed for a reason on a Saturday afternoon at 2pm!
Such a cute atmosphere. Repurposed house basically turned into a coffee shop. Really liked the vibes, friendly staff, and they actually made a European style macchiato correctly. Very pleased.
By far one of my favorite coffee shops. Super grateful to have it within walking distance! Parking is usually pretty available (which is saying a lot for near the square in Georgetown! The coffee is always amazing and there are plenty of "vibes" to choose from: outside on the patio, backyard at picnic tables, or inside. Want to start coming here more to do my personal Bible studies and work because it's the perfect environment and the coffee is great! Georgetown Gem for SURE!
Love this place. Cozy yet great for when one is feeling digitally productive. The staff is always kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. Everything is kept clean and enjoyable. The drinks are amazing. Their London Fog is no joke 🤤. Highly recommend.
One of my favorite coffee shops in Georgetown! It’s always crowded so if you don’t like crowded coffee shops this is not for you. Very chill and nice atmosphere, Fast service, and great coffee. I recommend the salted caramel latte
My husband and I have enjoyed all the drinks we have ever ordered. We love attending the events that they host too. Very cute coffee shop!
Great coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating. Great at what they do, and very kind staff. One of the best coffee shops I've been to in Texas, and probably the US.
Top tier spot. My daily go to for work, meeting friends, or just grabbing a coffee. Staff is stellar, atmosphere is amazing, and the community is what really makes this spot a must-visit. Highly recommend asking what special seasonal drinks they currently have. Staff is well versed in their knowledge of coffee, which helps as I am not haha! Definitely recommend this spot to anyone within earshot of Georgetown and surrounding cities. Josiah, Verity, and the other awesome staff members will be more than happy to serve y’all. Cheers ☕️
Awesome cup of coffee to start today in beautiful Georgetown, Texas. I had their oatmeal Cortado, and as advertised, it is just perfect. The baristas are super nice and welcoming. And the general atmosphere is very casual, with all kinds of people, both tourists and locals, sitting around and enjoying this wonderful spot.
My family enjoys this cafe and the different spaces they have. There’s an indoor space for professionals, students or those just wanting some quiet time. There’s outdoor space for kids to hang out and run around and there’s a cool game room area to play board games with family and friends or just meet up with a new acquaintance. Overall, it’s a great atmosphere, the drinks and food are very well done (we get the orange mocha, chai tea, and cinnamon buns) , and the service is always excellent. So thankful for this local cafe and hope others enjoy it as much as my family and I do.
This is my favorite coffee shop in the area! The coffee is very good (especially the americano) and there are a variety of options. There is a small pastry selection and the cookies are HUGE. They offer pup cups and welcome dogs outside. There is a cute little coffee shop and a metal climbing dome for kids in the back. Its a very chill vibe and has shade trees! There are tables and a work area inside, but I always sit outside.
I only had a match latte with honey which was solid. I came to remote work before my lunch meeting, and I was glad to have found 309. It was already busy when I arrived at 8:30am today, but I was able to snag a bench seat which was comfortable for my multi-hour work session. I loved that they have plenty of outdoor seating too. Very friendly staff as well.
Great coffee house!! I was looking to an alternative to a corporate coffee house with bad customer service, and I found the perfect one at 309. I really enjoy their drinks, especially the hot chocolate with a beautiful design on top. Although it's rather busy most of the time, there are plenty of tables and seats. It's very cozy and clean, and there are plenty of games to choose from for everyone to use. The bathrooms are clean and organized, and the environment is just super comfortable. There is complimentary water inside and outside, and I believe they are adding stuff to their menu. They have really nice customer service, and I love coming here every week. Absolutely recommended!
I was in Georgetown for a weekend and needed a craft coffee spot, and 309 Coffee surpassed all of my expectations. The coffee is as high quality as any third wave coffee snob could desire. They use beans from both Onyx and Try Hard (an Austin local). I asked for the drip coffee, and when I first tried it I thought I had accidentally been given a pour over. Turns out they were using a single origin Mexican from Onyx, and it was some of the best drip I've ever had. So flavorful, clean, and fruity. Later that day I went back and got that same Mexican roast as an iced coffee (NOT cold brew), which was specially brewed and hanging out in the fridge (if you ever order iced coffee from somewhere and they pour their normal hot drip over ice, just throw it back over the counter). My friends also had the latte, lavender latte, and mocha, all of which were amazing. I will also say that the location is wonderful. It's an old house converted to a shop, and there is plenty of outdoor seating in the front and back "yards" that are very kid/pet friendly. There was also plenty of room inside with some cool little nooks. AND, the service was incredible. I went here three seperate times over a 2 day period, and even though they were very busy each time, the baristas were incredibly kind and sociable, which made it such a welcoming environment. I loved having quick chats with them about the roasts, their location, the Onyx hat I was wearing, etc. I loved this place. I will go back if I'm ever in town again. You should go here. Thanks.
This place is wonderful! I love their gluten free pastries and their coffee was delicious! I loved the atmosphere, too. It was super cozy and would be a fantastic place to study or chill with friends. The service was great, too. The batista we had was fabulous. I highly recommend this place, and I hope to go back.
A hidden jewel in a lovely setting. Visited there on a Saturday afternoon. Loved the ambiance, the people serving, the vibe, the interior, exterior, everything about it. Somebody did a GREAT job creating a wonderful place to hang out. Coffee was good, not a 5, because it was not as warm as it should be , but good flavor with depth. If you want a place to rest, relax, work, meet a friend, or simply pause for a while, you will be glad you came.
Probably best to go early in the morning, middle of the week... Coffee was ok/good, but not worth waiting 45-50 min for ! My first time here, didn't realize it was going to be so crowded right before 10am, very small indoor space. We were just passing thru, on way to visiting Georgetown parks. The outdoor patio looks nice, with a little play area for kids. But can't justify the wait for the quality (I can for Desnudo ..! ) , and also found it a bit confusing, when I picked up my order, asked for sugar packets, barista told me to go to the side to get it myself. Thus I went to get it, which I guess was in this area that I wasn't supposed to be in, then got solded by another barista! Tried to explain, still kept getting scolded. Maybe they should have a sign or leave out an area to grab sugar and napkins ? Also halfway thru waiting in the line we realized there were two lines ! - on the other side with a window , probably should have ordered there to save time... Sort of ruined my morning vibe honestly. Maybe they need to be more clear on things, especially if you're not a regular. Kind of wish I went to Pan Tostado instead, which we were debating going there or here...
Matcha was not very good at all... I order vanilla in it and they didn't even blend it, it was green on top and white on the bottom... Coffee was good. Will not be going back however, the price did not justify the taste or vice versa.
There’s NO sign anywhere that says no dogs so we figured it would be okay to bring our very well behaved dog inside while we ordered and they told us we needed to go outside. I wouldn’t have cared if they would’ve had a sign to begin with and they kept whispering to each other about it which was very disrespectful. Next time, put a sign so dog owners know.
