The staff here is friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our subs, egg salad and ThunderClouds version of the bahn mi. The prices were surprisingly low for 2025. 🙌🏼

Ever since we moved to Georgetown we made our first trip to this particular Thundercloud. As is always the case we were pleasantly stuffed afterwards. It's super easy to place your order online and swing by the restaurant to pick it up a short time later. Nobody was there when we arrived. The double meat New York Italian is one of my favorites. I never get tired of it plus it always satisfies my cravings for a cold cut sub. But I love most all the other subs too! Great sandwiches, great institution. Update 4/7/21: I was disappointed in my most recent visit. After picking up my online order of a small double meat hot pastrami I got home and discovered hardly any meat that was also cold. I only live 5 minutes away and saw them place it on the pickup rack as I walked in the store. Oh well, I guess stuff happens. It must have been a new sandwich artist that day. They usually get it right so I'll keep going back.

Ordered 2 clubs exactly the same and a meatball sub. They forgot one of the clubs. The only way I can describe the meatballs is boiled. No flavor, barely a drop of sauce on the whole sandwich. I've always considered thundercloud one of the better sandwich places around but I probably won't be back to this one.

I enjoy Thundercloud Subs, but my recent visit to this location was quite frustrating. There was no clear line structure, and people kept cutting in front of me. No one greeted me as I stood there waiting. The staffing seemed inadequate—one employee was handling online orders while the other was working very slowly. It took me about 40 minutes to walk in, place my order, and leave with my food.

After a most ridiculous conversation with two employees, I was denied services because of having my service dog with me. First employee “let” the service dog stay “as an exception and only this time”, then the manager showed up and requested me to leave specifying that I was welcome back any other time without my dog, even though I’ve provided all the required under the ADA and local laws proof that my dog was, in fact, a service animal. Seems like a common problem in Texas.

Went to the Georgetown location to place a to go order, asked for the Big Paul, associate seemed less than thrilled to be there and kept asking me if I wanted things that were not supposed to be on the Big Paul. I ordered 2 club sandwiches asked for everything on them. Get home the sandwiches are missing the ham. I called the store several times, no answer, when I did get through I was put on hold and hung up on. I paid for something I did not get. I will not be going back to this location.

This location needs serious attention from upper management. The store, especially food prep areas and bathrooms need a deep cleaning. The counter and glass windows on the counter have not been cleaned in apparently years. The staff in general are disheveled, disgruntled and appear unkempt. This location is taking “Keep Austin Weird” to a frankly disgusting level. I’ve been coming to this location for almost 10 years and it has seriously gone downhill. I won’t be going back for a while after how disgusted I was yesterday. Bummer.

I absolutely love over paying for a sandwich with limited ingredients only to have you swing that screen around with preloaded tip selections. The only sandwich shop to charge extra for a few olives. I saw you slap a whole avacado on the veggie sandwich you made for the woman with a bolt through her nose who stomped in with her protester boots and unshaved legs. Forgive me for ordering meat on a sandwich.
