We ate at the Gfrillerhof for the first time, and it was absolutely worth it for everyone. The food was delicious, the service was excellent (especially with the children), and we felt completely at ease. Wow! Top notch from start to finish! I haven't had such a good and delicious meal in a long time. Everything's homemade and the staff is super friendly. If we lived here, I'd be here every week.

We didn't stay, which is why there are no stars under "rooms." The lunch, however, was truly excellent. And the lady who looked after us was very attentive to everyone, even the needs of our dog and the children. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available (something still extremely rare to find in South Tyrol). We'll be back!!!

Simply a fantastic place to stop for a break! The service was incredibly warm and attentive; you immediately feel welcome. The dishes were homemade and tasted amazing – honest, fresh, and prepared with love. The prices were also absolutely fair. A particular highlight: the magnificent view and the location. We visited this restaurant today with our little daughter and were absolutely delighted! The service was exceptionally attentive – toys were placed on our daughter's table right from the start, which made the beginning of our meal incredibly relaxed for us as a family. Another highlight: The changing room was not only clean but also very well-equipped – including diapers and wipes. Thoughtful details like these make all the difference, especially for parents! The food was also excellent, and we'll definitely be back. Highly recommended for families – but also for anyone who appreciates good service!

Lovely spot. Gorgeous outdoor views. Multigenerational Sudtirol family run with excellent food and table service. Ask to wander the village church ground next door. A bus serving neighbouring towns stops right in front.

After some back and forth emails, Peter was able to confirm that they were able to cater for me as a Coeliac and that if I book ahead - it would help him to prepare things so that he could be mindful…

Giornata soleggiata. Un panorama bellissimo. Eccolo lì, il “Gfrillerhof”. Romantico ristorante a conduzione familiare in cui farsi affascinare non solo dalla vista, ma anche dal gusto dei piatti tipici tirolesi: i maccheroni alla pastora erano squisiti. Eccezionale anche la grigliata di carne con verdure, patatine fritte e burro aromatizzato. Il locale é ben strutturato e pulito. In particolare, mi ha colpito la scelta dei colori degli interni perché sembrano esaltare le sfumature del paesaggio visibile da una parte della sala. Il personale é attento e cordiale ed il conto onesto per quel che viene offerto. A presto, con la promessa di assaggiare anche il dolce!

Noi abbiamo solo provato il ristorante. Locale visibile sulla strada con parcheggio gratuito. Cibo tipo del posto. Cameriera disponibile a spiegare i piatti e gentile quando le sono state chieste delle modifiche da apportare. Gelato buono.

Ristorante sulla strada del passo Palade, verso Lana. Locale accogliente, ragazze gentili, menu vario con piatti interessanti e prezzi giusti. Io e i miei due amici motociclisti siamo stati bene e torneremo con piacere.

We stopped at this restaurant in Caprile, near the village of Lana, for a quick break on our way to the Teiserhof. Unfortunately, the initial wait was quite long because we didn't have a reservation and the restaurant was completely full. The waitress at the entrance wasn't very friendly, but fortunately, during table service, the rest of the staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered pasta for our daughter, but it was served green. This left us a bit perplexed, and, seeing the unusual color, she didn't eat the entire plate. On the other hand, the Kaiserschmarrn were truly excellent, as was the Wienerschnitzel, both excellent dishes that completely satisfied us. Overall, the restaurant is charming and well-maintained, and once we were seated, the wait at the table was short. A very positive aspect was the attention paid to children: our daughter was provided with toys to keep her entertained, which is always appreciated. The prices are reasonable. An overall positive experience, with a few small aspects that could be improved, but definitely a recommended place.
