They have combos now! I ordered C as mild spicy but a bit spicy for me. The serving size is big for 1 person. Crunchy but not oily. Perfectly cooked. I requested coffee with milk tea. No extra charge for the bobas. Nona adjusted my drink until I'm satisfied with the sweetness. Thank you for the excellent service. I'll come back!

We came here because there was a 45 minutes wait at Boiling Crab. The place was almost empty with plenty of seating. We ordered a few drinks and a popcorn chicken while we waited for Boiling Crab. The popcorn chicken was OK. It needed more red powder. I wish they had the chili powder and/or salt and pepper available at the utensils station. As for drinks, they were decent. My milk tea could have used a more fragrant tea. They play Vietnamese music videos on the TV. Haha. Maybe that's why the place was empty. Service was excellent.

Ordered the yogurt combo fruit drink (large is $2.25 extra). It was delicious!! At first I was worried the price for the value was not worth it but when I took my first taste of the smooth sweet/tangy yogurt and the fresh and beautifully cut fruit, I was mistaken...DEFINITELY WORTH IT!! We also ordered the fried calamari heads (med spice level) and they too were delicious; cooked to perfection! The sweet and spicy dipping sauce was a perfect addition. I'd definitely come back for more!! Loved the interior decor and overall staff friendliness. Women's facilities was clean available to customers only.

Very nice place drinks and snacks. Lots of items to choose from. Parking pretty good. Pretty roomy. I would give it 4 and 1/2 stars. I do recommended.

There's a Tapioca Express a block from where I'm staying. I go to this one instead. Their drinks are excellent and the boba well made. I highly recommend their house special drink - a hazelnut almond mocha coffee ice blended with boba. If I were to stay up in San Jose again for an extended period of time, I would sign up to work there just so I could figure out out how they make it. Would also recommend their yogurt drinks.

*⭐[THIS is the "REAL" Tapioca Express!]⭐* Nothing like its wannabe copycat over on Snell! Far more up-to-date and advanced! It blows its imitator out of the water! The two don't even share the same point system! You might as well not even waste your time! This Tapioca Express should be the only Tapioca Express that you should ever want to go to! It's the only one for me! 👍🏿👍🏽 I don't believe in settling for less!

The options for types of teas and toppings are amazing! Love coming here when I'm in town.

Great place for a quick drink. Hot teas, boba, and tasty snacks. I don't recommend their sea cream though! The texture was way too thick!

I had the combo yogurt frost. It was supposed to come with strawberry, mango & kiwi bits but they were outta kiwi. The yogurt was a little sour for our liking. Overall was decent. The store had a weird smell when we entered, maybe from all the fried food. Their specialty seems to be cane juice drinks and cane syrup being used in all the teas. Cane juice drinks seemed very expensive though!

The last 2 times we've been here we've had to wait about 40 minutes for food due to some mix up. Today our food was given to the wrong person and they lost our ticket. The food, however, is really good as well as the drinks.

Thought the wait was going to be worth it, had purchased two drinks the strawberry milk frappe tastes completely bland.

Order itself was correct and good. However, we ordered online for pickup and it said 15-20mins. Received an email saying that it would take 40-55 mins to be ready for pickup. We drove to go. Received an email at about 20-25 mins after ordering saying it was Ready For Pickup (earlier than the 40-55 est but after the original 15-20 that we ordered for). Cut to arriving at the location. Wasn't ready (at all). So i went to the restroom and had my partner wait for it. Restroom: there was no tissue so I had to go outside and find the refill stock because no one was around to help. For the womens restroom - it had a sign that said not to put tissue in the toilet. (So where would anyone put their dirty toilet paper? Ew). And there was no Sanitary Napkin area for women to dispose of stuff. There were no seat covers so I used TP to cover. When i went to throw the TP away, there was bloody tissues and a sanitary napkin wrapper just on top of the trash... At least have another trashcan with a lid or something.. yuck.

These fish are so sad. They need light and plants. This is animal cruelty. Also the steel tables here are super dirty and sticky; they need to clear off that rubber layer.

Also don’t even hesitate on ordering the lemon pepper wings they’re literally some classic wings with a bunch of seasoning on it . Never going back again I regret it so much .

I love tapioca express but this location is not it. I came here may 9 at 8:20 pm, I ordered my food on DoorDash and they called me saying they didn’t have the item I ordered, which was okay, I could change it to smth else, but the person on the phone was mad annoying she kept on rushing and didn’t seem like she wanted to answer any of my questions and had so much attitude. I would ask about the menu and she would just keep saying “oh you can’t make any adjustments just pick what’s on the menu” over and over again. the kitchen was gonna close soon I get it but like I just wanted to know what my other options were ???? Like I’m not gonna know every single thing on the menu I don’t work here. (I changed it to shrimp fried rice that she told me about but she didn’t tell me it had bacon in it so I couldn’t eat it anyway cause I was allergic) Then I went inside to pick up my order, I saw my drink that came with it, and I saw it didn’t have a lid, so I asked the guy for the lid, and he said “oh are you picking up? your supposed to tell us when you get here” with such an attitude, like okay how am I supposed to know that??? There’s no option on DoorDash to do that, Then he later explained when customers come then they cover the drink so it doesn’t water down, that’s good but how was I supposed to know that ?? He could have just said “oh is this your order okay I’ll cover it for you now” instead giving me such an attitude. I also work in food service I have bad days too I get it but no need to give people such a bad attitude just be nice.
