Victoria's Gilroy Reviews
Victoria is amazing, love the family aspect to this restaurant and it’s a crowd fav with their regulars. This place is family run and you can tell they enjoy what they do, good salsa and menu options!
Great food and an even better atmosphere. The food was really good and everything came out super quick. I could barely even finish my soup before the fajitas were at my table. Everything I ordered was very fresh and not overly seasoned like some places do to cover up cheap meat. Definitely would come back.
First time here.. My wife and I loved it. Place was clean. Service and staff were very friendly and the food was great!! Very tasty authentic Mexican food . I recommend the Chili Verde plate. It was amazingly delicious 😉 We will definitely be back when around Gilroy area.
Beautifully cooked traditional Mexican food. The carnitas was of the highest quality! A great place when you crave Abuela's cooking.
The food was really good, the service was a little slow (they were busy) but friendly and they were playing good music so it was nice.

This place is a secret. If i could give it 10 stars i would. The service really sets it apart. Food is incredible. The people that run this long standing family establishment deserve statewide recognition
Loved it here, food was great and the people were wonderful!
Great food & awesome staff!
We went on Friday night with our 8 month old grandson. The place was busy, but they were incredibly friendly and nice. Had us seated right away, service was fantastic. Our food came quickly, it was wonderful, portions were big at a great price. They were attentive and kept our grandson laughing and smiling. We'll be back again and again
This place is amazing. I just finished eating here and the food was great and the atmosphere was like being in the kitchen of a family member. Our server was Carmen and she did amazingly even when the restaurant was busy. We also had a young man assist us and I did not catch his name but he was just as fantastic. Everyone here was great and it seemed as of there were many repeat customers as a lot of tables seemed to know the staff.
We stopped into Victoria's Mexican Restaurant on the way back from hiking. This was our first time here and it wasn't very busy. The customer service was outstanding. Our waitress actually sat down with us to discuss the menu and make some recommendations. The food was good and very filling. We had a shredded beef taco salad and a beef fajita platter. We'll stop back in another day. Need to add that this place is family owned and operated since 1983. That speaks highly to the service level. You can't last that long without doing it right.
Always delicious food and friendly service here. I'm impressed by the consistency through the years. Great ambience also. Do take a minute to visit the "shrine to the local Elvis". I am honored to have met him before his passing.

Been here several times; the food is always delicious. It is traditional California style Mexican food. I've eaten Mexican food in Mexico and to me CA style is better. I wouldn't say this food is the best I've had, but when I'm craving a chili verde burrito, beans/rice, it works, and it is tasty. They serve their sodas in cans with a glass of ice. Each time you want a new soda you have to buy a new can. It's a bit expensive, about $42 for 2 adults with no drinks or tip. The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is nice.
Had a great dinner here a few weeks ago. Service was good, food was very good and came out quite quickly! The Halloween decorations were very festive, with a distinct Elvis vibe.
Had Valentine's Dinner with my best friend my mom and best girl Claudia Neives. Love you both more then you two no. 😘😘💞💞🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

Good margaritas & the service is great. We like the cheesy bean dip, guacamole & a few of the combination plates.
Very unwelcoming as soon as we walked in. Service was below average. Felt like an inconvenience at every step. Food was alright.
Very average tasting food for the price! Nothing was exceptional and all the ingredients in three dishes were exactly the same. The service was suspiciously too quick and justifying the basic bland dishes you can see in the photos. Only good thing served were the different flavors of margaritas. Restaurant was clean and decorated. Rating: 2.5/5

Myself and my family of five went for dinner, my daughter asked for a Chicken Salad and received what looked like a burrito bowl not Salad no lettuce in sight. We asked for something else or to be removed from bill and wer denied. Will not be going back.
Went here for the first time in 8 years of living in Gilroy and it was beyond a let down. Ordered to go and it was honestly some of the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. Not a single person in my household ate more than half of their order. The steak was hard and burritos lacked flavor. And the beef quesadillas were with ground beef? Like what? It was also very expensive compared to similar restaurants. Definitely would not recommend

Someone suggested Victoria’s because they thought it was a good place to eat in Gilroy. So we took my mother-in-law there for her birthday. She had the shrimp tacos and got super sick after. Not such a great birthday. I felt bad.
Orders take out of three ala carte items. Waited 1/2 hour. Watched three people come in, place to go orders and leave. Still I sat. When they brought the food they indicated they’d made an error. Took the food away. And I wait. And wait. Finally I ask for a credit to my card. Cancel my order. He refused. He says he could not accomplish that. I was forced to wait for the good which contained two waterlogged tacos basically inedible garbage. This place isn’t poor in service and the food is questionable. A health department check might be warranted.
