The food was delicious - generous portions, reasonable prices. The atmosphere wasn't to my taste. I would have expected a selection of local artisanal cured meats, just like the cheeses you have. The appetizer was plentiful, but it was something you often find in the area. The cheeses, like the polenta, were delicious. The sliced ​​steak lacked salt and was served cold. It was rare but not very spicy... I've had better in the area. The polenta with sausage was delicious and flavorful. The desserts were wide and all delicious. Very friendly service. I give it 4 stars because everything was good, but it lacked that touch of harmony in my spicy dish, and the atmosphere lacked that touch of antiquity that would make it magical. Thank you.

The location is truly remarkable, with a beautiful view of the Brianza area from the comfort of the outdoor terrace tables. The menu is carefully curated, with excellent recommendations for pairings and portion sizes. Definitely worth a try.

The daily menu and price were excellent (first course, second course, side dish, and coffee for €15). The place is welcoming, especially the outdoor area. We arrived dressed for work and, at first, didn't feel entirely welcome: we were told all the tables were booked, even though several were available. We ended up being seated outside, a bit distant from the other customers. It's a shame, because without that initial scene, we might have thought we'd gotten the best table in the place, reserved and with a splendid view of the surrounding nature.

The first impression upon entering is pleasant; the restaurant has a well-kept and clean appearance, enhanced by the decorations, the buffet, and the cheese trolley. The food we tried was, depending on the dishes, good to decent; the portions were generous, and the wine selection basic. Going to the bathroom, you can also see the kitchen, which appears clean and tidy. In my experience, the service was very slow; despite the restaurant being far from full, we had to wait far too long for a weekday lunch. The asking price was a bit too high, and the ability to accommodate special requests and dietary restrictions was poor. To complete the picture (and lower the rating), a dirty pair of cutlery and glass, and terrible coffee. It's extremely unlikely I'll return to this restaurant; it's a shame because the menu was very interesting and we went on a recommendation. Photo of the coffee grounds...

Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to expectations. Upon arrival, we were immediately pressured by the waiters to choose from the menu, without having the time to carefully evaluate the dishes. We were also offered an off-menu item (cassoeula) without a price, which we consider unfair. There were six of us (three couples) and we ordered: 4 cassoeulas 1 porcini mushroom risotto 1 pork cheek (ganasino) with polenta 1 bottle of Friulian red wine 1 dessert each water and coffee The main problem was the quality of the cassoeula: extremely light, to the point of being almost nonexistent. The plate contained a tiny piece of rib, a small salami, and very little polenta. In fact, it had neither the flavor nor the consistency of a cassoeula: it tasted generically of meat, without character. This dish gets a 4/10 rating. The final bill was €240, equivalent to €40 per person, a price we feel is unjustified given the amount of food we ate and, especially, the quality offered. The venue and setting are pleasant, but the value for money and customer service needs to be reconsidered. A real shame.

We arrived for dinner on a Saturday night. We sat down at the table and pointed out that it was swaying; we had to suggest putting napkins on it to prevent it from tipping over. Three different waiters came by to ask if we wanted water. We opted for a bottle of Prosecco, which was very good. When the waitress opened the bottle, she shot the cork into the chandelier, a nearly avoided accident, fortunately. The dishes were good, but the portions were small; we left hungry. When the dishes arrived, they also brought us bread. As soon as we finished eating, they took everything away, including the bread we wanted to use to mop up the bread. They insisted on asking if we wanted dessert. At the cashier, we had to ask for a receipt; they greeted us without issuing a receipt. We had to mention this to receive it. The dishes were good, but we won't be returning.
