Dominik Pizza Glen Cove Reviews
I stopped by for a regular pizza slice. There is a new amazing pizza maker, and when I ate that slice it reminded me of my middle school years of having a great slice after school. Classic New York pizza....🤯. Thin crust, just enough cheese and sauce...CLASSIC. You have to try and tell me what you think. Sincerely, A self proclaimed Expert Pizza Critic
No frills pizzeria with great Mexican food.
Will forever be the best tacos in Glen Cove.
Delicious fresh food, amazing staff, great for kids, beautiful murals, fast, fun, and yummy. One of my favourites
We come all the time just for the delish tacos. Cecina is #1. Haven't had their pizza but the tacos alone are our favorite. Wanted to gatekeep this gem.
Staff was nice and the place was super clean. Purchased 3 tacos and the food was delicious. Since it was my first time there and I ordered to go I was a little surprised that the tacos were a little small and I was sorry I didn’t order more. Will definitely buy again from this place every time I am in the area!
Lovingly crafted authentic tacos served by abuela. You don’t find tacos like this around Long Island, and that’s not taking anything away from the many other great taco places. This place is special.
I was a little annoyed that my chorizo tacos took so long. The wait was worth it because it was made to order. The ingredients were fresh and the meat was succulent.
Went here for a quick bite to eat, the food was absolutely fantastic. I had three tacos and a slice of pizza, both were cooked to perfection. Staff is very friendly as well. I highly recommend this place.
Amazing spot!! Ordered a chicken taco accompanied with a slice of pizza and a coconut juice. I gotta say this spot blew my mind. Its a pizza and taco spot and they did both so well. The staff is super friendly and lots of families seem to eat here. We went on a weeknight and it was pretty bustling :)
In reading the reviews for Dominik's Pizza, I have to agree that this place is amazing. But all the reviews fail to acknowledge this weird Italian-Mexican food combo going on. Tacos at a pizza place?? Or is it pizza at a taco place? This strange combination is what drew me here. This is my story: I had a 7:30 reservation on a Friday evening. I called to confirm the reservation and they had no problem with my request to be seated in the back room. Right after we were seated, the lights were dimmed and a Mexican Mariachi band started to play. I was surprised as I did not expect to be serenaded while eating pizza. But they were awesome! They sang a variety of songs and even danced around. I always wanted to see a Mariachi band, so it was a great treat. The music was fun and upbeat and got everyone in the mood to eat. The restaurant itself is rather small, and almost every table was filled. The walls are covered with caricatures of people on the walls and there are tables in the back where you can sit and eat while watching the Mexican TV shows on their flat screen TV. I was pretty excited to eat the pizza since Dominik's is known for their pizza. I ordered the Fiesta Pizza which has chicken, chorizo, onion, tomatoes, olives, and cheese. The pizza was huge and was cut into slices that were a good portion size. The pizza was very tasty and a little spicy. My friend ordered the Pizza Rustica which is red sauce, mozzarella, Italian sausage, mushrooms, and artichokes. The pizza was just as good as mine. Disclosure: The last two paragraphs were written with an AI, and are not true. It is a fantastic spot though.
The 🌮 are great and robust with flavor. I can't wait for my next trip. I also had a tamale which was awesome! I suggest that everyone and anyone goes here. Their taco pastor is made with beef which I loved by the way!
I'm really disappointed, I ordered 4 slices and it was really cold parts of it was room temp and other parts was cold so that let's me know She didn't heat it up long enough. Sad because I can tell it wouldn't been a really good pizza
Food is pretty good. Very expansive for what you get. Three tacos should never be 9 dollars especially since they are small. Many other dishes don't include rice and beans. Much to expensive
The food was good it was nice and warm the food had a delicate taste, and it had heavy spices in it over all great.bit the service was slow and it was very long time when I finally got my food I was vary hungry and couldn’t wait anymore. I think at this point even takeout would be faster.
Would never go here again. We had Mexican food & Italian food. NO TASTE! Someone ordered a Torta. When she bit into it, her mouth was on fire. The sandwich has jalapenos. No where was it stated on the menu. I could say so much more, but won't waste my energy.
