Quick & friendly Had to snag a kids meal to finish a road trip!

New and very clean. Taco tuesday is great day. The burgers are great too. I have been eating at Dairy Queen since milkshakes were 20 cents!!!

We just had the most amazing experience here! The food was amazing and we were pleasantly surprised at how yummy everything was! I just feel bad that we hadn’t given this place a chance! We will definitely be coming back very soon

I love their tacos. But another guest suggested the nachos. I thought the nachos would be small. They aren't. The nachos are enough to have by itself. So the tacos went home for dinner. The nachos were very good. They aren'tas goodas whatyou'd get at a mexican food restaraunt but they weren't far off. The staff at this location was incredibly warm and friendly. Even came over to chat fora bit. I guess that's the kibd of hospitality youcan expect here in the south. Not like Yankies, rude.. I tell ya. Overall this location was a solid 5 star!

Staff just excellent, brought meal to us. Made conversation about my MSU store. Talked about snow in Michigan. All around good times. Food was good too.

Fast service , answerd all of my questions the meals were good. The staff wore hair nets and face masks. Very nice and clean pace to eat. Cleaned the tables and chairs with disinfectant.

Everything was excellent. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. We really liked the dinosaur themed mural and "tracks" on the sidewalk.

We stopped by for a cool treat after visiting the state park. The dipped comes were yummy and we decided to get their Taco Tuesday special which was 12 tacos for $12. Needles to say we had some happy kiddos and happy parents.

Granbury needs to come take some lessons from Glenrose DQ! The food is great, the service is wonderful! You have teenagers who are respectful and not some punk kids! They serve all the different star Popsicles and dilly bars, etc! Brings back that DQ feeling we had as kids! Thank you for keeping with the DQ traditions! I will pass up the Granbury DQ to come to Glenrose DQ cause they suck!

Friendly, clean, lots of business, local favorite, it appears. Grilled Chicken Sandwiches were excellent, granddaughter age 14 said chicken tenders were great and she would order again after just one bite. Ohhhh...and the ice cream and malts....let's go back tomorrow.

When I think DQ, I think ice cream. However, now I will think salad. My husband and I both got salads. He got a taco salad and I got the grilled chicken salad. They were both fresh and delicious. What I liked most was that my salad was so easy to eat. It was loaded with bite size pieces of chicken, bacon, tomatoes, and carrots. The service was very quick too, which is not our typical experience when dining at DQ's.

Go for my once a week fix of a Carmel malt and 3 pup-cups.. Always have courteous service. As fast food places frequently get orders wrong I have to say that Glen Rose dq has not in my 2 years of routine visits.

Stopped with our 4 young granddaughters after spending the morning looking at dinosaur tracks. Staff was friendly and the service and food were good. We would come back again when we are in the area.

All I ordered was a small blizzard on my way back from visiting Fossil Rim but the blizzard was made perfectly and the staff were friendly. Fast easy service through the drive thru. Would stop here again.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Luckily, this DQ has a outside playground. Even though my kids had been on 2 other playgrounds before noon, this one kept them entertained for most our visit at lunch time on a saturday afternoon.

This is so great! Great customer service. Another patron made a mistake and ordered the wrong item but they fixed at no cost and we're very attentive. Food came at fast and the server was extremely nice.

The restaurants food and service is wonderful, play area superb, padded and safe.... All but the corner of square tables a foot from where the kids run and play. My two year old ran smack into a corner yesterday and busted his lip big time! It was unavoidable! Not much room for 4 kids to run through at once so it was inevitable. Please consider accommodating to the kids and preventing future painful injury with corner table pads. Thanks! Luckily he still has his teeth!

Traveling from San Antonio with my 95 yr old Mother to Ft. Worth, she wanted to stop here for a bite. We really appreciate the service and clean, nice atmosphere. Even the customers were friendly. The food was fresh and delicious. We stopped back on the way back from our Mothers Day reunion with family at this Dairy Queen. Thankyou So Much!

Just drove through here the other day in the middle of the awful heatwave and ordered a blizzard. It was PERFECT- thick, creamy, not liquidy at all and the fudge I requested in the center was thick and delicious too, not too melty. Service was quick and the person at the window was very kind.

Love them!!! we had a door dash order that didn’t get assigned a driver, they remade our food when we picked up, very kind on phone, very kind in store! delicious food!

This dq restored my faith in Dairy Queen’s. Every employee was so courteous and hospitable. They were also super fast. Our three kids played on the playground and they brought our food out to us. Kids were begging to come back the next day. So glad we stopped by this dq. Highly suggest it!

My parents who are 88 and 89, go to this Dairy Queen frequently. They love the workers here, because they take such good care of them. Mom loves the tacos and Dad loves the ice cream! He will make a meal out of the Snicker Brownie Blizzard. (Or any other Blizzard.) We love the Glen Rose Dairy Queen also. The staff are super friendly.

Ashley was amazing! Super friendly, fast and efficient to every extent. Actually the entire staff do their jobs like they enjoy doing it. A breath of fresh air. Coming from the big city its nice to get the good ole small town treatment! Would definitely recommend!

I love going to Dairy Queen restaurants! They are usually very good places to sit and have a good meal. This one was clean and the employees were very friendly. This place is always busy if that tells you anything about it. I like that you can get a good meal plus a good choice of desserts as well. They are a bit pricey but the quality makes up for it.

Our family infiltrates this Dairy Queen every year during our family reunion. We never have any issues although we know it can be hard to service so many in one group.

Some fast food varies greatly from town to town. This DQ is one of the best ever! Not many like this one left. Definitely check it out!!!

The assistant manager Dee was very friendly. Dining area was clean and routinely wiped down after each customer left. Playground area was great for kids. Colored DQ pictures describing young customers favorite DQ treat lined one wall adding a local feeling to the restaurant.

Great place to get a bite to eat or fill that sweet tooth with something good. Drive thru service is fast and accurate. Always reading your order back and making sure it’s correct when you get it. Hot or cold it’s always delicious.

The Dairy Queen in Glen Rose is hands down one of my favorite locations anywhere. The customer service consistently goes above and beyond. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff are attentive, and there is a clear sense that management cares about the customer experience. Every visit feels intentional and well-run. Orders are accurate, employees are friendly without being forced, and the overall environment reflects pride in the brand. Other locations would do well to take notes. This store proves that strong leadership and service culture still matter and still make a difference.

Stopped at the Glen Rose DQ on my way home from Colorado Bend State Park. I originally stopped for a banana split, but I couldn't resist getting three tacos for Taco Tuesday instead! The service was the highlight—the lady who helped me was so encouraging. When I mentioned I was on vacation, she gave me great tips and wisely told me to make sure I didn't work during my time off! I agreed completely. The food was great, and the restaurant was clean and quiet. A perfect roadside stop.

This Dairy Queen is definitely a Texas classic. Very much a hometown establishment. I used to take my nail adult sons here when they were small children before or after we would go exploring the dinosaur Valley State park and the Paluxy river. It always has the vibe of a popular gathering place for people in Glen Rose. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is always very friendly. Plus, if you want to blow any diet, you may be on completely out of the water, you can always get some of their frozen treats out of the freezeron a hot summers day.

Great fresh food. Great service. No one except employees and I were wearing mask. I mean no one. Kids screaming and running wild all over restaurant touching every table and anything else they could get their hands on. Jumping out of chairs and laying on tables. Was disgusting. Got my food to go. Will still eat here but will always use drive thru and will never go inside again. With covid running wild some rules should be enforced. Not inside this establishment. Inside is a great place to catch covid

Not many Dairy Queens where I come from. I will tell you the line moved pretty fast for a hamburger joint. Both the burger, the fries, and the corn dog were fairly good. Dr. Pepper in the soda machine was on point too. I would give it a a definite stop here again status.

The place was crowded and busy but we received our orders quickly. The food was typical DQ food but it was good.

Ordered a bananna split in the drive through with two vehicles ahead of me, after receiving the Banana split, I drove less than half a mile back to my home, only to find that the ice cream was completely melted. I know that DQ is trying to compete with the new Whataburger across the street, but prestaging their ice cream treats isn't going to be a winning strategy. And on top of that, DQ still has better burgers than the new Whataburger and Whataburger can't compare with DQ for frozen treats. So hey DQ, slow down and do it right and I don't think you'll lose that much business in the long run when people get over the initial thrill of a Whataburger in Glen Rose, that is unless you beat yourselves with melted ice cream. EDIT, OK, I've tried calling this DQ multiple times since Friday 03/01/24 to enquire if they're having problems with their soft-serve ice cream dispenser since I got the melted bananna split on Friday, no one answers the phone, so I'll be taking my business elsewhere. The last time this location had service this bad was in the early 80's and I boycotted it for well over 10 years. Adios' DQ!

A very nice Dairy Queen in the best spot for access coming from the river, Dinosaur Valley SP or Fossil Rim. Great place to get a refreshing snack.

Our order of 5 items (shakes and blizzards) took 15 minutes to get out to us. When it arrives the cups had ice cream smeared down the sides. We asked for no lids on the blizzards and they all had lids. The items were correct, just a slow mess.

I was there just before lunch. Got the hungerbuster with cheese. Frys were old... go figure just before lunch...bun wasn't toasted and the burger could have been cooked a little longer. Staff was very friendly and nice. Just seems like every time I go there I wish I would have gone someplace else. Don't think I'll be going back.

Only reason I’m giving it low because another customer and myself had to wait 5 minutes just for someone to take our order. The young lady who came was very sweet just disappointed that we had to wait for customer service.

There food is hit or miss sometimes the burgers are great and other times it's over cooked. And unless you have some free time don't go cause its always and long wait till you get your food however I have a feeling that's due to being under staffed that or because everyone is getting an ice cream which is ridiculous because they have much more to choice from.

I love DQ. However the person who waited on me wasn’t the best. No personality. Robot like. I ended up just getting an ice cream cone instead of a burger. Not impressed with service. Flip side is the restroom was clean and the cone was good. Just passing through.

It's a three out of five cause the ice cream at DQ is always great, even if they got everything wrong except what kind of ice cream we ordered. We also waited 15 minutes for just the five blizzards we ordered. There was only one person in front of us, and they ordered hardly anything. I think we'll stick to sonic next time we visit...

Shady kids, we have been told that this store in particular doesn’t give change in small amounts so when we bought 11.89 worth of ice cream and paid 12 cash we waited for our change, if the kid behind the window gave me my change I would tip him 5 he did not making an 11 cent tip this is what dishonesty get you.

The problem with this DQ once served some great Tacos. The Tacos served on this visit. Where smaller with less meat,lettuce and three diced pieces of a tomato and 5 grated pieces of cheese. Off my list!

i absolutely love the dairy queen in glen rose. it’s always clean and great food. i normally don’t ever enjoy dinner here, just a lunch or evening food (meaning never past 8pm), but being pregnant makes you eat at super weird times. my husband ordered the smaller blizzard, which the worker replied a mini, and my husband said great. we also order a chicken strip basket and i ordered a taco salad with chicken. the taco salad is my go to. the wait was 20 minutes in total (weird, ive never waited this long especially with little cars parked and no one behind us in the drive), they have us pull around the front to wait. while waiting, 3 young girl workers are laughing it up in the parking lot, which irritates me a little because why were we waiting so long when there were definitely able bodies to help. we receive our food with no blizzard. we ask for it and he said it wasn’t on the receipt. waited 5 minutes for them to find the receipt. the blizzard was never added and we would have to go through the drive again to reorder after the gentlemen on the speaker already confirmed we wanted a mini blizzard… said no thanks and went on with our night. while eating my food, i noticed that there was no beans on the bottom (they usually coat the taco shell in beans and add the fixings on top). NOPE. just HARD chunks of beans scooped on top of the lettuce, almost in the shape of a spoon. super gross.

I'm writing this review to express my disappointment and frustration with the service I received at Dairy Queen. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and kindness, regardless of my race or background. It's unfortunate that this experience left a sour taste in my mouth and made me question whether I'll return to this establishment again. I hope the management takes necessary steps to address this issue and provides better training to their staff. Until then, I would caution others to be aware of the potential for poor treatment.

Out Of All The Fast Food Places In Glen Rose I Go To Dairy Queen But As Far As Evening Time I Will Just Eat At Home I'm A Person That When I Go In During The Day Time I Get The Tacos And Cheddar Bites But Last Night I Wanted Something Different So I Got A Grill Chicken Sandwich With Bacon And Cheddar Bites Well The Chicken Sandwich Was Dryer Then My Skin And There Was No Bacon At All The Cheddar Bites Was Half French Fries Half Cheddar Bites No Receipt Try To Call 3Times No Answer Very Disappointing

Sooo we got sand in our drinks. Not tea grains. It was a coke. We felt something grain textured in the drink. We dumped out the drinks slowly to see what it was. And low and behold brownish grains like sand at the bottom of the drinks. Not entirely sure that it is sand but definitely looks like that. In was in my wife and daughters drinks. I didn't get a drink so I didn't have anything to test out.

Worst customer service ever. Food tasted days old. The lettuce was slimy. The burger made me throw up. Do NOT go there!!

If I could leave less than one star I would. Person on the speaker was rude and pushy. I asked for chocolate sauce in my blizzard and was told it came with it in there, got what was basically plain vanilla ice cream. I stopped quick on my way through town and wish I hadn’t.

Ordered chicken strip basket with two large teas with extra ice.... Again you drive away and your order is not correct.... Very irritating.... Tea was so hot the ice was melted before we hit the first stop light... And it was miniature strips day... I should have taken a pic but I was driving and in a hurry

The cashier in the drive through was so rude. She handed me my sprite and it spilled all over me. When I asked for extra napkins to clean it up off my lap, she said there's napkins in the bag. I asked for extra ones again and she again told me they were in the bag. She tried to shut the window and walked off and my husband literally yelled, You spilled the drink all over her lap, can we get extra napkins please! She rolled her eyes tossed a couple napkins at me and slammed the window and walked off. Rude. The food was awful as well. Chicken strip so hard I could not eat them.

I ordered the chicken fry basket at the drive through and recieved my food within minutes. Should have known it was not fresh cooked to recieve it that quick. Chicken was tough and dry. Toast was soggy as well as the fries. This order had been put together from items setting in a heat lamp. Terrible. Last time here.

I’ve never had a worse experience at any other Dairy Queen in my life… The first major upset was that they completely ignored my order and gave me something completely different and it was cold, and if that was not enough to spoil my mood, as I bit into it sure enough there was a foreign object inside the patty that I almost broke my tooth on while driving, and the flavor tasted like the lowest quality junk food I’ve ever had in my life while I searched for the foreign object I threw all of it away. I only took one bite and spit it all out, including the foreign object, and the french fries were completely soggy and cold. So I did not eat even a morsel of this $12 combo that I purchased. Something was terribly wrong with that dude sandwich that didn’t have the cheese on it or the jalapeños that I ordered. And I also requested that the cheese be melted and the lady said she would put it in the microwave to get it real hot, but they gave it to me cold with no cheese and no jalapeños and it was dry with no condiments and the patty again was extremely questionable in quality. I called them and told them what happened and they pretended like they were sorry and said they were going to send me a gift card which they never did. I contacted them again letting them know I never received the gift card, and I never heard back from them. I will never go back to this Dairy Queen again, and I discourage anyone else from doing so for the sake of your general health and satisfaction. And frankly, I am so disgusted with Dairy Queen now in general that I don’t intend to eat at another DQ ever again; their quality has clearly dropped off drastically — they used to be my favorite fast food drive-thru in Texas! Not anymore…… Certainly not. I no longer trust Dairy Queen even the slightest.

These little high school kids don't know how to work. I got some blizzards and I asked for a lid. I got the window and they didn't have lids. No problem. I just said hey could I get lids. She gives me a dirty look. She puts lids and hands then out individually not in a bag. And they were all disgusting She couldn't even clean them. One was dripping down the sides. I asked for a bag for that one and again she gave me a dirty look. Gave me my drink it was also disgusting. Someone needs to teach these little kids how to work better. Blizzards were barely blended as well.

I know that it's fast food but geez. For $35.00 I at least expect for my order to be completely there. Ordered a burger with no bun. No vegetables given.AT ALL!!! other burger ordered with cheese. No cheese on the burger. Because we requested a blizzard instead of a soda. The second meal was rung up separately therefore adding extra higher charges. 1st visit to Dairy Queen in seriously 5 plus years. Won't be back. Lesson learned.

My wife n I passed thru Glen Rose, n stopped at DQ, for an order to go. Approximately 4hrs later, we are so upset to our stomaches, n are having acid reflux. WILL NEVER GO THER AGAIN.

Called multiple times to see if they had ice cream cakes available, as the website said they did. No answer over the span of an hour. I get there and they have no cakes. The lady said, "Well if we're busy we don't answer the phone."

The girl who took my order gave me the wrong thing. I asked for tacos and i got chicken and i didnt even realize until i got home.

We drive 25 miles to DQ. Lately our orders are not done right or the food is not good. Today 10/2/2024..ordered flamin chicken sandwich...it was a regular chicken sandwich ...also ordered chicken salad.. the worst salad ever. Chicken had to be several days old. Lettuce was welted. Guess we will drive across the street next time

They are not changing out the oil in their fryer. Purchased steak fingers & fries to go. Food was rancid and we had to throw it out. Unfortunately I ate one steak finger and a few fries. I had cramps and nausea for 2days. I won’t be able to eat DQ for a long time if ever. We stop here about 6 times a year and have seen food quality decline but I can say with confidence they have hit bottom.

Closed before 10:30 on a Saturday and worker cars were still there. They wouldn’t answer drive thru window. Change your signs if you close earlier…By other reviews seems like they do this often, don’t waste your time.

Arrived at 10:17pm on a Saturday night. Waited at the drive through speaker for 3 min and no one answered. The lights inside and out were still on. Drove up to the window and got someone’s attention. They said they were closed. I said that the sign on their window says that they were open until 1030 and she said it was wrong. Would not let us order ice cream. The front of the store also said 1030 as well as Google. Horrible customer service. Sonic got our business instead.
