i couldn’t decide between the rose matcha and the chai and the worker was super nice and helpful. she suggested the chai (her favorite) but told me a lot of people add rose to their chai, so I went with that. it was DELICIOUS. I appreciated how thoughtful the worker was and my drink came out quickly.

I stopped into Black Elephant to kill some time while waiting for my car to be fixed, and it turned out to be a great find. It’s a cute arts-and-crafts-style café with very friendly service, great vibes, and plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The coffee quality was solid, and I had one of their muffins—a cherry muffin—which was genuinely delicious. It tasted like something they actually made in-house, not one of those bulk, Starbucks-style pastries shipped in from some downtown kitchen.

This coffee shop is so cute! I loved that it had quite a lot of seating options too! I ordered a Mexican Mocha and a berry muffin (I forgot to take a picture of the muffin). Both were absolutely delicious and satisfied my sweets craving. The prices were also reasonable. I definitely recommend stopping by here for a coffee break. A plus: the bathroom was really clean.

01/22/23 - My first time here. My latte was delicious. I will be back. 06/06/25 - This coffee shop is now apart of my weekend bike ride. I've been back maybe 20+ times. I recommend the lavender latte, it's really yummy.

The coffee was great and came out fast despite the busy Sunday rush. I ordered an iced latte and enjoyed the outdoor patio. You may have to wait for a spot to open up but it’s right near the farmer’s market and super convenient.

Their coffee is ok. I ordered the horchata latte and honestly tasted like milk and sugar but that’s what lattes are nowadays. Their chocolate banana bread was pretty darn good too. I wish they had more veggie sandwich options to try. This place is so darn cute. The interior is cool but the patio is my favorite and is such a nice peaceful vibe and honestly I’d buy a latte again here just for the vibe & energy of the place.

Very good point to get your daily caffeine dose :) Cosy interior, friendly staff, delicious pastries sweet or sour, vegan choices available. And last but not least: so good coffee! Well roasted and even better prepared.

Came in here to get some coffee, but their pastry pulled me in. Not only did they have sweet ones, but they also had a savory. The one I got was almost like a mini pizza. I need to come back and try out more things. They have plenty of seating, inside and out.

Excellent coffee and plenty of options for food and drinks. They have a great outdoor setup and walk up ordering. They actually had put too much cream in my cold brew and let me have a free 12 oz cold brew to make up for it. The service was fantastic to say the least!

I was skeptical at first but the coffee, I had an oat latte, was really good. The barista made it so quickly I was like “this won’t be good.” But on the contrary it was spot on! Small shop and fills up fast so get here early if you’re looking to work.

I stopped by Black Elephant Coffee the other day and had a cappuccino. The coffee was ok, and the service was very friendly. They carry some Cake Money pastries as well as a few breakfast items. The curbside patio is really neat and sunny, a great place to sip your coffee in the morning.

Sage cheddar croissant on the right was nice. Chocolate croissant on the left was ok. Coffee was good. Overall, I enjoyed coffee here but not much for pastries.

I was getting sleepy and wanted a cup of joe. Maybe i came here too late closer to 5pm. I got ok service a little rude but maybe they where just tired. The latte was very good 5 stars. The croissant was meh 3 stars. Overall didnt feel too welcomed. But hey i will return to try other item's

I was shocked to find such a rude person to take my order. I said Hi to the cashier and she never responded. It wasn’t even busy like usual for me to say she was possibly distracted, there was only one other man who had already put in his order, regardless it seemed as though she just wanted to give me a rude stare upon walking in even though I had a smile on my face and having a great day the least she could have done is greet her customer. That’s why she gets no tip as I always tip. If management sees this please understand that customer service is everything and I surely did not feel welcomed by her. Although, I didn’t catch her name I can describe her, with wavy long faded pink hair. She might be having a bad day or looked like she just rolled out of bed, either way- being polite would have saved her from this review.

Coffee and the atmosphere were great, but the food not so much. croissant with ham and cheese heated in a microwave was not worth it

I think I just paid $10 for the worst Matcha latte in Los Angeles. Threw away my drink after one sip. Color was not ceremonial grade as the menu price. I’m soooo disappointed in this matcha and feel like I just threw away my money.
