I have been coming here as a person since 1987 I'm 44 years old now and some of the best memories that have ever happened in my entire life exist with the original location would that said after 19 years of being a very amazing business and a great part of the community people still seem to talk about the original location. That makes this amazing is that the nostalgia and the history and the mythos of New Way Lunch lives on for the test of time. When I walked into the restaurant and I have not been to this location in 10 years The first thing that I said to me is do you need a menu in my complete answer is no cuz I know exactly what I want. You are hot dog artists and there is complete pleasure and pride to say that you are the best. Thank you for all these years of being amazing!

This place has been a staple in the community for over 100 years, and tbh I can see why. Everything is fresh and made to order right in front of you! We stopped by for lunch and got 2 New Way lunch hotdogs, new way style which includes mustard, chili, and raw onion. This combo is awesome! It’s so good I could eat half a dozen by myself! The onion rings were cooked perfectly and crispy. Highly recommended!!

I had been craving a good hot dog for days. Which is something that I’ve never craved before. I had a legit dream of biting into a delicious, snappy, hot dog the other night and I knew I had to settle this craving ASAP. My husband, the delightful soul that he is, looked up the best places to get hot dogs and off we went to New Way Lunch. Walking in, it’s super small but cozy. Obvious regulars talking with each other and the staff, extremely welcoming environment. There is both counter and booth seating available. There was one waitress and one cook. Both were awesome. The waitress seemed to be everywhere at once, fulfilling everyone’s orders and overall superwoman! My son and I ordered two hit dogs each and cheese fries, the husband got a phili cheesesteak. Everything is made fresh as you order them and it’s quick! Everything tasted great! The fries were super crispy and delicious. I actually had to move them to my husband so I would stop aimlessly eating them even though I was full. My husband said his phili was pretty good as well. Our son said the place was “Really, really great!” Overall our bill was $29 (we did end up getting chocolate cake since it was sitting right in front of the kid and he was just longingly staring at it. I didn’t have any but he seemed to enjoy it!) Everything from the service to the food was great especially at the price point. My only complaint is that we live in Ballston Spa so we have to drive 30 minutes to come back. Which we absolutely will be doing!

Retro Hot Dog Joint like a Blast from the Past

Got a sirloin burger. Was extremely dry and actually tasted like a Bubba burger. Asked for well done and it was really overcooked and the roll really dry. The hot dogs looked appetizing, perhaps made the wrong choice. Seems like a place popular with the locals and regular customers. The hostess was very friendly. The menu is very limited. Thought they would have a turkey club available but didn't see any on the menu.

We are constantly at Glens Falls Hospital. We really loved this place. The last time we ate there the food was off. The hot dog sauce was totally different tasting. They seem to put less meat sauce on the dogs every time. The service and atmosphere are great.

I had been craving hot dogs for weeks, so I decided to stop by New Way Lunch on Saturday evening to grab a few for my family. When I arrived around 5:40 PM, the door was locked. The posted sign says Saturdays are open until 10 PM, and the outside sign was still lit and said “Open,” but the lights inside were dim and no one was there. I understand that there’s bad weather expected tomorrow, but there was no sign on the door, no notice on Facebook, and no indication anywhere that they had closed early or for an emergency. That was really disappointing, especially for customers who travel out of their way after hearing how good the hot dogs and fries are. A simple sign or social media update would have made a big difference. Because of the lack of communication, I’m leaving this review out of disappointment.

Do NOT get a fish sandwich. Flat piece of frozen cardboard. Macaroni salad elbow and heavy mayo. Little else. Chips greasy no salt. Hotdog sauce ground emulsion. Every single thing was absolutely awful
