Really great break with delicious homemade corned beef hash. Also the rosemary breakfast potatoes are really good. Clean place and friendly service.

You might not expect anything special from this small place with the simple name, located on an avenue of strips of shops, but you would be mistaken. The Sunshine Cafe is impeccably clean and well-run, with an impressive variety in their breakfast menu. The staff are neat, professional, and continuously attentive to customers. The food comes quickly and has a nice presentation; even my steel-cut oatmeal with served with a generous amount of fresh fruit and a tiny pitcher of steamed milk. An extra surprise for a coffee lover like myself, they have espresso drinks. A real pleasure to visit this place on this Saturday morning.

We are visiting and looking for a quick breakfast spot. We had 2 children and ordered the Mickey pancakes, chorizo scramble and the Belgian waffle combo and lattes. The staff was very attentive and the food came out quick and everything was hot. It was a great experience and we appreciate the amazing service. Thank you so much!

I love eating here when I come to visit my Dad. But .... the last time there was 1 guy just kept walking up and down where people were dining. This visit there were 2 ppl that kept walking past. It was actually really irritating. Maybe there just trying to give great service but how about have them stand off to the side and if somebody needs something they can wave at them. My dad hadn't even put his spoon down from putting his leftovers into a container before the girl walked up and said let me take the dish out of your way. Found it rude.

Lots of parking. The restaurant is spacious and clean. The staff is very friendly and competent. The food is very delicious and arrives promptly. I ordered the salmon eggs Benedict three days in a row. The food quality is consistent. This cafe is a wonderful asset to the neighborhood.

I tried their tri-tip, it's great and personally I like to eat the meat individually and the bread as well, together they pack a punch, but there's something about their bbq that makes for a delicious experience. To top everything off, their meals include fries and a drink!

I always have the best experience whenever I have breakfast at the Sunshine Cafe in Santa Barbara. I have moved to the Bay area and miss being able to eat there more frequently. The food, service, and atmosphere was amazing. We really enjoyed our waffles with fresh fruit and salmon salad. Highly recommend this place!! They have pretty much every breakfast or lunch item you can imagine. Going to try the pork chops and eggs next.

Upon entry, we were seated quickly in a nice clean booth. My wife ordered a mimosa (next time, ask if the customer wants garnish in their mimosa, mint is not normal), I had coffee. The attendance was beyond expectations. I ordered an eggs Benedict with excellent hashbrowns, eggs poach perfectly, and the english muffins were soggy. Most likely caused from the chef putting the poached eggs on the toast too early, leaving the water to soak the toast. On another note, I would have the manager check the toilets to see if they are loose. There was an odor of sewer leak upon entry. This is a common issue when the gasket under the toilets is not properly sealing the sewer pipe from the toilets. We will return, I don't think this is cause for concern, but it should be noted. Thank you.

Good food, great service, strip mall atmosphere. The waitstaff came quickly and took great care of us. The food was good but a bit underwhelming. The hash-browns needed more seasonings. The eggs Benedict were done just right. The interior is industrial and a bit noisy.

I had breakfast at Sunshine for the first time today. Very good coffee, and best menudo I’ve had so far in the SB-Goleta area. Very attentive service. Menu consists of typical American dishes with a few Mexican specialties. I would go back again to try other menu items.

Not impressed. When you walk in it's very loud. It was very busy! The industrial look is not welcoming. My eggs Benedict was cold and the eggs were over poached. The sauce had congealed. My wife's bacon had obviously sat around as it was cold. I hope our meal was just a one off.

Excellent menu, food and service . Loved the specialty pancakes and my partner enjoyed a scramble with rosemary potatoes . Fresh squeezed orange juice and mellow soothing vibe .

I will never return. I had just taken my mother to the doctor's office. On a rainy day I took her to lunch at Sunshine Cafe. After we ordered, I realized I didn't have my phone, nor in my car. I asked if I could briefly use the Cafe's phone and was told "no." I explained that I had lost my phone and I wanted to make a quick call to my husband but the very rude owner/manager said, "No, that's the rule." I asked why and he replied again, "That's the rule." He would not listen to me at all. Fortunately, our waiter who was much more reasonable loaned me is personal phone. I called my husband and only took about 20 seconds on the phone. The waiter got a very good tip, but if that's the unreasonable stance of the owner/manager, completely uncompassionate and unwilling to help a customer, I will never return.

I asked if I could briefly use the Cafe's phone and was told "no." I explained that I had lost my phone and I wanted to make a quick call to my husband but the very rude owner/manager said, "No, that's the rule." I asked why and he replied again, "That's the rule."
