Local muy amplio y muy bien organizado. Los camareros estuvieron atentos en todo momento. Entramos en la primera oleada de clientes, y eso que teníamos a bastante gente delante nuestra. Fuimos a las 13.00 y había una cola considerable. Enseguida nos atendieron con la bebida y la tapa, en nuestro caso fideua. Cantidad muy generosa a pesar de ser gratis. Y las que no eran gratis eran tremendas de grandes. Y muy buenas a decir verdad. Pedimos boquerones fritos, una milanesa a la gitana y pimientos de Padrón. Con hambre no te quedas. Y el bolsillo tampoco se quejó mucho. Relación excelente calidad / precio. Muy recomendado.
El mejor bar de tapas sin lugar a dudas de toda Granada!! Si un bar tiene cola, por algo es! Tapas caseras súper ricas en un entorno súper peculiar!! Me encanta!! La mejor carne en salsa se sirve en este bar!! Super recomendado!!
Lugar amplio con decoración muy auténtica. La comida es abundante, sabores tradicionales de la comida española. La tapa del día era un guiso de carne que estaba muy bueno. El salmorejo estaba sabroso, con cuerpo, muy bien elaborado.
Tuvimos que esperar aproximadamente una hora de cola, ya que el sitio es muy conocido y va mucha gente de la zona y de fuera, y la verdad es que mereció totalmente la pena la espera. Sabíamos que con cada consumición que pides te ponen una gran tapa a cada uno de la mesa. Luego también pedimos unas cuantas raciones, en las que su tamaño era bastante grande y de muy buena calidad, ya que estaba todo muy bueno. Sobre todo, destacar las croquetas y las albóndigas. Nos quedan unos días más por la ciudad y, sin ninguna duda, vamos a repetir este local por su comida, el buen trato y lo atentos que están sus camareros en todo momento.
Que suerte que pudimos comer en La Sitarilla. Nos lo recomendo un amigo que vive en Granada. Suele haber mucha fila para entrar pero avanza rapido. Con cada bebida (€3 aprox) que pidas te traen una tapa distinta. Son todas riquisimas. Y aparte pedimos el Pulpo a la Gallega (€19) que es una de sus especialidades. La atención super eficiente. Los comentarios de gente que dicen que “los camareros no sonrien” es porque estan atendiendo a 300 personas a la vez, a todas rapido y a nadie le falta nada. Si ven tu vaso vacio pasan rapido a preguntarte si queres pedir algo mas. Los platos son enormes e interminables. Pidiendo 3 copas y sus 3 tapas te vas muy satisfecho y habiendo gastado €10 por persona. Para volver mil veces.
Fuimos a este lugar de tapas y la experiencia fue genial. Por cada bebida te sirven una tapa muy generosa, tanto que sales de allí sin necesidad de cenar en otro sitio. La comida está buenísima y la relación calidad-cantidad es de las que ya no se encuentran fácilmente. El único “pero” es que siempre está llenísimo y para entrar suele tocar hacer cola de casi una hora, pero sinceramente, vale totalmente la pena. Es uno de esos sitios que recomiendo sin dudar, ideal para ir con paciencia.
Lo resumiría con “espectacular”. El local tiene una decoración muy de Semana Santa y muy andaluz. Las tapas son enormes, los precios de cervezas algo más baratos que en otros bares, no hizo falta pedir raciones, con las tapas fuimos sobrados. La música un poquito alta pero muy bien. Entramos al final del local y había ambiente muy bueno. Lo malo es que fuimos a las 12;45 y ya había una cola de 60 personas esperando la apertura, pero merece la pena esperar. Te sirven muy rápido la bebida y las tapas, muy eficientes. Un 10 y me quedo corto. Sin lugar a dudas, un sitio que debes visitar. Repetiremos sin duda
Si hay una cola de 1 año: de todas formas vale la pena. No puedo explicar lo bien que hemos comido. Por cada copa te ponen una tapa muy bien servida y DELICIOSA y va por rondas. Todo ha estado delicioso pero las albóndigas son las mejores que comí en mi vida. Todo un estilo muy casero y sabroso. La atención excelente y la cola avanza rápido ya que el local es muy grande. Volveré sin falta cada vez que visite Granada.
Importante: debéis hacer cola pronto si no queréis esperar mil años. Nosotros hicimos cola hoy (7/12/25) a las 12:00 para las 13:00 que abrían y conseguimos entrar nada más abrir. Llevábamos varios días queriendo ir y la cola infinita nos echó atrás todos los días. Este es un sitio en el que puedes comer perfectamente de tapas. Las cantidades tanto de las tapas (que sirven directamente con las bebidas) como de las raciones es bastante grande. De hecho, podríamos haber comido perfectamente por 13€ por barba pero acabamos comiendo por 49,9€ (entre dos personas), porque queríamos probarlo todo. Recomendaciones: las albóndigas y la carne en salsa estaban espectaculares. También nos encantó el arroz de la primera tapa (pero no lo vimos en carta). Pedimos pulpo a la gallega y estaba rico pero lo hemos probado mucho mejor en otros sitios de España. Ambiente: lugar de tapeo donde todo está decorado con vírgenes, cristos y cantaores de flamenco. Suena todo el rato flamenco. Servicio: el servicio es rápido, amable y eficiente. Un 10/10.
Muy buen sitio para ir a comer/cenar. Si tienes pensado ir debes ir con antelación porque se forman muchas colas, llegamos 19:20 y abre a las 20 y ya había cola, al salir a las 23 seguía habiendo gente en la cola. La verdad es que el servicio muy bien, con la bebida te incluyen una tapa que la verdad es completa y está muy rica. Ellos te van sirviendo en un orden determinado, por lo que no puedes elegir tapas. En parte se entiende porque tiene todo el bar llenísimo. Muy decorado de Semana Santa y muy buen ambiente.
Sitio increíble, visita obligada si vas a Granada. Hay una cola que asusta nosotros llegamos a las 19:30 y el sitio abre a las 20 pues ya habia cola que daba la vuelta a la esquina. Sin embargo una vez que abren cabe muchísima gente dentro. Cierto que nosotros nos quedamos a las puertas de entrar y tuvimos que esperar 1 hora mas. Pero una vez dentro se te olvida todo el ambiente es de 10 canciones clásicas con todo el mundo cantando, la decoración si te gusta la semana Santa etc es todo asi y lo mas importante con 3 cervezas has comido ya que con cada bebida te preguntan que ronda es para no repetir la tapa y son muy generosas y solo por 2.90€. Las raciones son enormes!!!
Nunca había entrado en este bar, taberna andaluza. Desde que puse el pie en el local me enamoré de este sitio. Si vas a Granada y no lo visitas es como que no has estado. No se que tiene el lugar pero el ambiente que se disfruta te alegra el día. Decoración excesiva pero no sobra nada, simplemente genial. Las tapas generosas, el servicio de mesa impecable, siempre atentos a tus demandas. Se recomienda ir pronto para no tener que hacer mucha cola en la calle, siempre que fui estaba lleno. Todavía recuerdo esas tapas como si hubiera estado ayer, Paella, Albóndigas con Patatas, Manillas de Cerdo ect ect. Siempre que vuelva a Granada pasaré. Un imprescindible en la gastronomía ( Tapas ), en Granada. No le pongo más nota porque no me dejan.
Local típico y visita obligada si pasas por Granda. Hay cola antes de abrir, así que hay que tenerlo en cuenta en la planificación. Tapas generosas con la cerveza. Servicio de sala muy atento y rápido. Ambiente auténtico. Muy recomendable
De 10! En nuestro último día por la ciudad acabamos en la sitarilla, habíamos intentado ir otros días pero la cola para entrar era interesante, y con razón. Dicen que lo bueno tarda en llegar y por eso fue así. Nos hemos ido con el mejor sabor de boca. Desde que entras no puedes parar de observar cada rincón, merece la pena, ya no solo por la atención, la calidad, sino por el “museo” cultural que ofrecen. Cada consumición con su tapia bien abundante. En nuestro caso probamos la de carne guisada y no podemos explicar la mezcla tan buena de sabores. Si estás en la ciudad no dudes en hacer esa cola por muy larga que sea. 100% recomendable.
¡Muy rico y con excelente relación calidad-precio! Con cada consumición te ponen una buena tapa. Pedimos media ración de ensaladilla y sepia a la andaluza y, además de ser abundante, estaba todo buenísimo. Destacar especialmente la calidad de los fritos: crujientes y nada aceitosos. Fuimos por la noche y antes de la apertura ya había bastante cola.
Fuimos por la fama que tiene en Granada y las colas que se forman para entrar. La comida estaba buena, pero tampoco especial para esperar esas colas, me pareció algo normal que puedes encontrar en otro lugar. El servicio y el ambiente era bueno
Un bar de tapas que debería ser visita obligada para todo el que pase por Granada. Te ponen una buena tapa con cada consumición y, además, puedes disfrutar de unas raciones super ricas. No tiene desperdicio la decoración y la música del local. Desde luego, es más que curiosa. El trato del personal es super agradable. Eso si, ve con paciencia porque es frecuente que tengas que esperar un poco para poder pasar. Casi siempre está lleno.
Fuimos a este bar con las expectativas muy altas, nos dijeron que era el mejor bar de tapas de Granada y la verdad que no nos defraudó. Recomiendo llegar sobre las 12:30 para hacer cola, abre a las 13:00 pero se llena de mucha gente. Si vas con tiempo es lo mejor. Te atienden muy bien y rápidamente. Las tapas que sirven están muy buenas, puedes comer perfectamente porque las raciones de cada tapa son generosas y están super ricas. Recomiendo ir con amigos para disfrutar la musica y el ambiente.
A wildly popular spot in town. By the time we arrived, dozens of people were already in line, and by opening time the queue wrapped around the street corner. The first photo was taken after we finished dinner, and even then a line of eager diners still waited outside. Inside, the restaurant buzzed with energy—not just from the crowd, but from the walls themselves, densely covered with images of the Virgin Mary, religious figures, musicians, and other famous faces. Pottery, metal plates, and jars hung from every corner, creating a kaleidoscope of color and texture. The tapas were a delight: rich, flavorful, and generously portioned. Some patrons seemed perfectly content with just drinks and tapas, soaking in the eclectic atmosphere. On the night we were there, free tapas included pork stew, meatballs, and chicken drumsticks. The dishes we ordered were tasty as well. Service, however, was less impressive; though perhaps understandable given the sheer number of customers.

Amazing tapas bar in Granada. You CANNOT miss it. We cam 12:45 and the queue was already around 20 to 30 people there. Great drinks with Freeeeee REAL tapas. The photos shown the different tapas we got for every drinks we ordered. Seriously...REAL TAPAS...means taste great (not only good). Imagine...paying around 5 euro for 2 drinks and tapas. My friend recommended me this place while I was in Granada and it was amazing! There was a long queue and it's freezing cold outside but it's all worth it. All of us ordered a drink and we got tapas for free and the portions are generous! Love this place so much

From the traditional wooden décor to the unique wall covered in various images and the religious iconography, the setting is unique and full of character. It feels welcoming, like stepping into a piece of local history. Last but not least, the staff is incredibly cordial and welcoming. They make sure you feel right at home, even during busy periods. If you're looking for fantastic food, a genuinely unique ambiance, and warm service, La Sitarilla is a must-visit!
My absolute favorite food experience in our week-long trip in Spain thus far. We went five minutes before 8pm and stood in line for the opening, which was quite long and a bit intimidating, but actually we were able to get in once it opened! Fast-paced and a bit hectic, but the food is delightful. I loved everything we had here.
We absolutely loved this restaurant! It was packed full of people laughing and chatting while most other places were quiet or closed on a Sunday evening. Wasn’t long till we found out why. Food - 11/10. The complimentary tapas they brought us were absolutely delicious and two rather big plates. We also ordered gazpacho, grilled squid and croquettes. Everything tasted heavenly, generous portions too! The wine was also great but we found it usually was in Granada. Service - 10/10. Staff was attentive and prompt, also spoke great English. Location - city centre, easy to get to. Highly recommend and would gladly go back.
Absolutely must visit! We came 15 min before opening and there were already a queue. But after opening everyone got a table, the place is actually quite spacious. Food was amazing a d portions were huge. For each ordered drink - one free tapas (can’t choose). Some people were just ordering drinks, without ordering any food, course there were getting free food anyways

Happy accident. There is a reason people line up outside. Food 10/10. My server accommodated my lack of spanish. Made sure I was happy. Great introduction to food in Spain. Try the Eggs and ham or chicken with gravy. Well priced. Free tapa with your drink.

Glad I went by the reviews because this place was amazing! With every drink you order you get a free tapas. We ordered a serving of octopus salad but we were already so full from the tapas! Value for money is unreal and the food is 10/10. I’ll be coming back for all my meals in Granada!

Every time we check into a hotel in a new town, we always ask the hotel staff where they would go to eat. Simple as it sounds, this question can be interpreted in many ways. Do we mean where locals would prefer to eat or a place with a google-worthy review? Fortunately, the locals were unequivocal on this occasion - La Sitarilla. Show up early. That's the only instructions we received. We arrived 25 min before opening only to find ourselves queuing behind 5 other parties! Fret not, the interior is much larger than it appears from the outside. Punctuality thankfully is one of their hallmarks and we were promptly and efficiently ushered to our table at the precise opening time. Word of caution. Begin with ordering your drinks only. This being a traditional Spanish tapas establishment, each drink already comes with the house 'cover' of a moderately sized tapas. Don't be over enthusiastic like we were and order additional dishes with our drinks. A la carte menu items are very generously proportioned and fit for larger groups. Together with the tapas that accompanies each drink, there's a real risk of over ordering ! LS has a fairly extensive menu of traditional tapas. If you're in to 'meat & potatoes' comfort food, try the Sitarilla meatballs. It came with a heaping pile of coarse cut chips slathered in a thick tasty gravy and could possibly feed a medium sized family. However, our absolute favorite was the grilled padron peppers. It had a light exterior char with perfect blistering on the skin of the peppers. It's piquant, slightly bitter smoky taste worked well with a sprinkling of coarse salt. Memorable ! The restaurant completely filled up in a blink of an eye, with a good mix of both locals and foreigners. I'm guessing they're all here for the same deal as I am, a great tapas experience. By that I mean the drinks are cheap, the tapas are generous (and tasty), the ambience lively and the service top notch and friendly!
The food is really good, the portions are huge, and a free tapa comes with any drink, even coke cola. We were so full afterwards. The food is cheap, very affordable. We ordered two dishes, the pig trotters and fried squid. Would recommend the fried squid, it is very fresh and tasty. The pig trotters are a bit too much and we got tired of eating all the grease. It was well cooked but still bit too much. The place is noisy but service was good.
Absolutely loved this place! We arrived 15 minutes before they opened and found a long queue of folks already waiting. We ordered drinks as soon as we were seated and received a free tapa. We also ordered a hot dish from the menu which hands down was one of the best things we ate during our trip. This place is definitely a must if you’re in Granada!

El ambiente lo es todo, música, alegría y la excelencia de sus mozos. Hicimos 40 minutos de cola, pero creemos que vale la pena. Ir a las 8 puntual o sino esperar el recambio aprox 9:15/ 9:30 Por cada trago es una tapa individual, aunque en nuestra segunda tanda se olvidaron de traernosla. Pedimos unos boquerones a la andaluz y unas croquetas de cocido que estaban fabulosas. Es un excelente lugar para sentir la vibra de españa y granada.
Tras visitar el establecimiento por recomendación, mi experiencia ha sido agridulce. Si bien la decoración es excelente y el ambiente es muy agradable, la gestión de las esperas un sábado resulta excesiva, llegando a superar la hora y cuarto de cola. Considero que, para el estándar de Granada, los precios no terminan de ser competitivos si sumamos el tiempo de espera y el hecho de que no se permite elegir la tapa ni existe la opción de pedir tapas extra. El servicio es rápido y atento, lo cual se agradece, pero creo que la relación calidad-precio-tiempo es mejorable. Quizás sea una opción más recomendable para visitar entre semana
Here you get free tapas with each drink you order, and what we got as tapas was too big in portion. Therefore, one main dish for two could be enough, unless you are very hungry. For main dishes, we ordered Russian salad and Galician style octopus. Russian salad was good; however, the octopus was somehow a bit dry and chewy. Finally, their sangrias are quite affordable and delicious.

We both got callos a la sitarilla, sepia a la andaluza and pimientos de padrón. When we ordered drinks, we got a free pork dish. To start, we only waited in line for a few minutes. Even though we were sitting on uncomfortable high stools by the door, I was happy we didn’t have to wait long, so it felt okay. The dishes were all a bit salty, so after a while, it was hard to finish everything. The atmosphere was nice; I saw lots of locals chatting, drinking and enjoying tapas, which made us tourists ordering full dishes feel a bit out of place. If you’re looking for very comfortable tables, beautifully prepared food and complex flavours, you might want to skip it—especially if you have to wait in line. But if you want to experience local culture and try some authentic local dishes, I think it’s worth a visit.
Don’t expect smiles, this is not the place for it. The staff is super busy and aren’t super friendly. The food is very average, really nothing special. The portions are huge and the tapas come with the drinks, you will be full with 2 or 3 drinks. The atmosphere is amazing, the bar is super cool. We had to wait outside 35min for a table. What is worth the wait? Yes for the experience, not sure I would do it again though.
