My wife loves a good philly cheesesteak.So when we pass by, she said, turn around.So I did, I told her there is nothing like a good north philly.Cheesesteak, and if I had to a south philly cheesesteak, but to my surprise after my you turn, we stopped at this food truck called Philly PHLAVA and man. Does it have a lot of flavor nice people served us our food and when the food came out as you see in my one picture I took because I was so hungry as the way it smelled. So good in my lips were smiling when I bit into this sandwich felt like I was on broad street. This is authentic cheesesteak. They give you the choice between provolone. Cheese, whiz, onions peppers, sharp cheddar. You can even have the OG and make your own very good place stop. Now if you see it, stop, if you don't see it, find it. And go get it.

Ryan here, originally from Philadelphia PA, been going to Philly Plava for 20 years since back then off Hillsborough Ave & also Sheldon. Best cheese steak spot in FL hands down, seasoning on point & the chicken Philly hands down the best along with there Italian hoagie you won't be disappointed. Don't forget there Hank's soda's they Carrie. Philly Plava is a 10 out of 10. Owner very friendly and knows what he's doing. Keep it up.

I got a chopped cheese and a side of bay fries to-go. Delicious and fresh. The bread is a perfect soft fresh inside and thin crust. Fries hit the spot too. Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.

We are so glad they reopened and moved north! We missed it so much and it’s every bit as delicious as it was before!

No pictures 🫣 was too good, dug in without thinking! OG (gotta start with the original) and fries for our first visit and it did not disappoint. My only regret is that we waited until now to try. Hubby can’t wait to come back and work his way through the menu. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 6 stars 🤩😂 and we will be back!

First time ordering from Philly Phlava, and it exceeded expectations. I got the Benny Blanco, the OG, and fries — about $32 total — and every bite was on point. The food was flavorful, well-made, and clearly done with care. What really stood out was the service. They were genuinely thankful for the business, which you don’t see everywhere anymore. As for the price, ignore the complaints — everything costs more now, and I’d much rather support a quality small business than another private equity–backed chain. Philly Phlava is absolutely worth it.

JUST ATE ONE OF THE BEST SANDWICHES EVER!!!! Philly Phlava is top notch! Tried the Benny Blanco and it blew me away. Garbage fries were also amazing. Will be back many times would even pay for delivery. Thanks and see you guys again soon.

After their Fletcher ave location closed, we have been trying to find a comparable cheesesteak. To no avail. Thankfully we found the Gunn highway location. So delicious. Best in the bay area.

They were very nice and we even shared a laugh with my corny joke. The Philly was absolutely perfect. The meat was delicious. The cheese was great and the bread was on point and soft. The place is clean and pricing is also reasonable. These are also some of the best fries I've had. Since discovering this place, I have been there 4 times in the past month. See you again soon!

Stopped by today after seeing them online and we are sure glad we did ! This cheesesteak reminded me of back home ! Really Really good. Go check this place out and you wont regret it.

Family got the porkette and loved it, the menu has a lot of options for a brick and mortar let alone a food truck. This is worth your time, who needs a roof when we live in the beauty of Florida, go enjoy a picnic table (grateful for the umbrella) and a killer hoagie!

Five stars for the service and the fact it’s local :). We tried the “OG” steak and chicken Philly. Steak was good, chicken wasn’t great to be honest. Good portion sizes. The “Garbage Fries” was the star of the show. I only wish they used more jalapeños ;) Chicken strips & fries for our picky son. A bit pricey but fresh. Overall we wish them much success and we will return to try other items.

We live near by and we are so excited to have this food truck open here. The phillies were hot, flavorful, and tender! We also had the Tampa Bay fries…a must-have! Everything was delicious and we loved the very friendly owners too!! We will return and bring friends!

First time ordering from this food truck and probably the last .. ordered chicken wings (12pcs), Tampa Bay fries, and salchi papas. It was $60 including delivery. Massive expensive for the little amount and type of food received. Taste wise it was good.
