The new young man working over here greeted me with a smile the moment I stepped in the store , washed his hands before making my sandwich, conversed with me , and made my sandwich pretty fast . On my way out he said “if I don’t see you again then I wish you a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year take care “. That made my day not all employees are kind like that , Excellent.
This has been my local Subway for the past 2 years. The service is great. Just one note to the new sandwich artist (really young guy) There's no reason to get flustered and nervous-- it's all OKAY. You're very nervous all the time regardless of how many customers are in the store- I'm fairly certain that the customers are all very nice and we apprieciate your haste but its okay to prepare the sandwich at a normal rate! That's all

Here almost every Wednesday, and with my day I find myself here around 12-1. They are pretty busy, but they manage to make the sandwich quick and you only wait 5-10 minutes to get it (I am starving by the time I get it). Always happy when there is a subway nearby.
Convenient location on U.S. route 1 (west Putnam Ave) just south of the main downtown area, easy to miss on this very busy thoroughfare in this very busy town on the new York/ Connecticut state lines. Nicer newer location, the inside space is cozy, comfy and good for groups or for dining alone. unisex restroom available inside.
Very good local goto. Ordered 3 sandwiches for dinner: cold Italian combo; warm egg and cheese; and a warm chipotle steak. All 3 were properly made and tasted fine when they arrived home. Will return again in the future.
I go to this Subway when I'm at work and need a place that won’t be too expensive, that will be quick, and that is fresh. Service is fine and entire experience was what you would expect. Their Italian heroes are very good and after years of their white hero started ordering it. I know that the staff here change often, but they still able to find workers that it is fun to get service from.

I just dont understand how a smear of tuna salad on a six inch sandwich can be $8 dollars?? Today's tuna was literally a thin layer spread on the bread ... good thing there was lettuce and tomato...but all I could taste really were the veggies. Place has gotten more expensive and the quality and quantity have gone way down.

Standard subway, but I’m trying to figure out why the girl behind the counter yesterday rolled her eyes at me when I asked her to toast the bread as if I massively inconvenienced her? Is that not the function of the toaster? Still trying to piece that attitude together.

This is the second time they have done this where they are exceptionally stingy with the toppings. She gave 4 jalapeños. 4. And then when we asked for a little more or if we could even pay for more she just said no its against our policy. I am repulsed. Each time I was too embarrassed to do anything else but if I was as rude as her I would have or should have just left the sandwich at that point.
I literally requested for some sub crunch topping and also said that i will pay extra for my order (Protein pocket), Still they denied it.

When I asked simple questions about the menu for my kids, she responded with visible irritation and acted as if we were a burden. My children even commented afterward that she was “mean,” which speaks volumes about how negative the interaction was. I don’t expect over-the-top friendliness, but basic courtesy and respect are non-negotiable—especially in customer-facing roles. This experience was enough to make us reconsider ever returning to that location. Order a chicken sweet onion salad, with 6 tiny pcs of chicken, 4 thin thin (like paper) tomatoes, onions, peppers, 4 slices of jalapeños, a ton of lettuce, that's all, the worst salad ever, never ever will return to this place.
So the older lady is so slow I want to go in and do the sandwich for her on the other hand the younger girl has the nastiest attitude and makes sloppy sandwiches. Clearly terrible management
It’s absolutely a beautiful day and Christmas Eve 10am and I order same sand which everyday 1ft long bbq ribs if it’s available and always same toppings but worker today horrible service and bad sandwich love subway I’ll be back just to a different location
There is a Spanish lady serving the food and she is so rude. Today is 06/10/19. I just bought a sandwich and she was rude to the lady before me and then so rude to my husband. I am not going back there

Twice I’ve come in here and the guy working behind the counter is disrespectful, talks to you however he pleases. Doesn’t even greet you when you come in. They need to hire someone with better people skills. Cuz he is LACKING them big time!
The sign on the door says they're open until 10:00 pm. We arrived at 9:38 pm, the door was locked and the "Open" sign was turned off. If your business has signage that says this own until 10 pm, then you shouldn't be closed 22 minutes BEFORE your stated closing time! Will never return to this store, and will advise friends to go elsewhere, as well.
A worker Blanca on west Putnam is very rude, didn’t seem to care when packing the sandwich and was very aggressive while making the sandwich. She doesn’t seem to like her job very well and has a terrible attitude.
Just got home with my pizza sub which is one of the "featured subs". I get home and there is literally no meat on the sandwich. I checked online and sure enough, it's supposed to come with pepperoni but my sandwich is just soggy sauce bread sprinkled with cheese. Not cool.
They are so cheap at this location. Asked for jalapeños. They put three slices on. Asked for more. Got one more slice. Asked again. Got one more. Two six inch sandwiches for $22? Never again!!!!

Her attitude made it clear she did not want to be there and had no interest in helping customers. When I asked about certain products, she responded with frustration and couldn’t provide clear answers. I left feeling unwelcome and irritated. Someone with that kind of attitude should not be working in customer service. This experience has made me seriously reconsider coming back to this location.

Their prices are double and the meats are less than 1/2 of what they used to put in them. It’s horrible! For service I gave a three because the sandwiches were ready when I got there. But the 2 women working seemed like they didn’t want to be there. No smiles. Save yourself some money and don’t go here!

Went to purchase sandwich asked for my bread to be toasted alone not the meat and worker became extremely agitated and disrespectful. Began to make sandwich roughly with an additude. Asked for his name and his response was subway. Absolutely not good for business I have always treated people with upmost respect and a smile. What's the use of purchasing something if it's not the way you like it and getting additude for a simple change and not busy as well. That may just be the reason it's not busy. He groaned as soon as i walked into the store and got very annoyed when i tried to order a second sandwich. Like jeez i dont like my job either but i would never be so disrespectful to a customer. Such an unpleasant experience!
I ordered a chicken bacon ranch through DoorDash. It arrived with only tomato, lettuce and ranch. Legit what even happened to the chicken and the bacon?! -1000 out of 10. Don’t go there or even DoorDash their items. They even messed up on the bread by giving me the wrong one. Did you even read my order at all or did you just give me what you wanted to give?!
When I ordered my veggie delight, I asked for extra spinach since I don't get lettuce. I got like two leaves ....even the initial amount was like 6 leaves. Then I asked for extra onions....literally got like two small red onion semi circles..TWO! So I said "no I really mean extra" so she finally gave me extra. Then I asked for a couple of extra napkins...which was met with a "ugh" you know the kind when ur kid begrudgingly obeys. This was a pattern of behaviour I've seen here several times and I think I'm done coming here. One star because well the sandwich was good after all that uncomfortableness that a regular customer should not ever feel.
