San Rock Cafè Grosso Reviews
Pleasant surprise, nice aperitif, I highly recommend it.
Pretty bar in a little court just tucked away from Cantù main square. Quite loud on a Saturday evening with the match on, but also peaceful with its outdoor seats.
Friendly and helpful people! A great bar for spending time together at any time of day. You can enjoy aperitifs on the terrace under a spectacular wisteria or stay inside in one of the private rooms.
Very cute place, decorated with truly beautiful pieces and remarkable gems! There's an expert on the '80s and '90s behind it! I drank a Moscow Mule with questionable ingredients, but it was good nonetheless. I'd happily go back!
Tucked in a little alley of one of the main street this hip bar of young crowd but nice atmosphere lies. Highly recommend.
This historic bar, unlike its competitors, consistently maintains its prices despite forced price increases: this is certainly commendable. The quality of the products is also high, and the staff is equally courteous. I highly recommend this bar, especially for aperitivo, which is very well presented.
A very welcoming place...in a small, secluded courtyard in the center of town...In the warmer months, there's even a gazebo for outdoor conversation, possibly in good company, accompanied by tasty appetizers... Excellent Italian espresso that finally doesn't taste "burnt"...as is increasingly the case...for others euphemistically passed off as...an "American" flavor...even if they're simply...badly made!
The aperitif was plentiful and delicious. The atmosphere made you feel like you've been coming here your whole life. Sitting under the wisteria gazebo and enjoying the aperitif was wonderful. Even our dog was welcomed with affection and there was something for him to drink too ❤️.
Great people
Nice atmosphere, good drinks, wonderful terrace
Top location !
Nice place! Kind personnel!
Good aperitif with a generous platter booked through Groupon. Various beer selections, and they even let you watch the games. The place is run and frequented by young people. I'd definitely go back for an aperitif.
Cozy and convenient
Highly recommended for organizing birthdays, as the upper room is perfect for welcoming people in intimacy and tranquility. The buffet offered during birthdays is substantial and of quality, while the prices are normal, sometimes even lower than average. A little less recommended if you want to spend a quiet Saturday evening, as the ground floor is dominated by confusion. In summer it is more manageable, being also open abroad.
ZERO hospitality. I was sitting at the tables upstairs with some friends, and we had to call the place to get the girl and ask for our orders. But even calling didn't help. I go to the cashier and discover they don't even have a large selection of the very ordinary cocktails you'd find at any bar. (Remember, all this happened on a quiet evening.)
The waiters and bartenders were really rude. I stood at the counter for 10 minutes trying to order, saying "excuse me" every now and then to get noticed. The bartender simply looked at me and my friend and then looked away as if we were invisible. Then, in the end, he took an order from other people who had arrived a few seconds earlier, but not ours. At that point, I took my order and left because it's not possible. To make matters worse, a second bartender came by and stepped on my foot as she passed, without even turning around to apologize. The place is always dirty.
Nonexistent service. We waited half an hour for our orders, and finally they asked us what we wanted to drink, only to be told, "We don't have any more ice, so we can't make cocktails." It wasn't a problem, and we chose something else. However, when we went to pay at the counter, we saw: 1. someone behind the register, drunk and busy arguing with drunks; 2. a basin overflowing with ice. They clearly didn't want to do anything more elaborate than pour a beer or bring a canned drink.
