I'd known this little restaurant existed for a few years. I love Colombia, and that only made me more curious to check out this little place. One day I arrived very early, and they still had no service, so it took me a long time to return. Today I was lucky enough to eat there. The empanadas were fantastic; they immediately transported me to Bogotá. I ordered a very tasty ajiaco. The only minor observation I would make is that they gave me very little avocado, but they were generous with the other ingredients, especially the capers, which they provided in a jar so I could have as many as I wanted. My companions ordered lechona, sancocho, and bean casserole. All were delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the lulo juice and, at the end, a tintico made with an excellent-quality bean, although quite discounted. Overall, I'd give it an 8.0 or 8.5 rating. It was a pleasant experience.

The empanadas and the fish were good, but I didn't like that the fish still had all the bones in it. That might be fine for some people but it really takes away from being able to enjoy the meal when you are having to be very cautious of not swallowing any bones. Otherwise, all the food was delicious. There are tables where you can eat inside or you can sit outside in the courtyard. The service was friendly and the prices are reasonable. It did take some time to get our order, but it was worth the wait.
