Good place near hospital
Expectation vs. reality. Actually, it's very good; it really does live up to what the place promises. We ordered Swiss enchiladas, a baked potato with chorizo, arrachera, and bacon, both served with salad and a couple of beers. We appreciated their variety of beers. For dessert, we had cheesecake and corn pie. To cleanse our palates, we had some iced Americanos with a hint of vanilla. The place isn't very big, but it's comfortable, cool, and has a good atmosphere. The music is neither loud nor harsh, but well-balanced. The food (the enchiladas) is well-seasoned; they should change the tortillas to make them perfect. 9 out of 10. The potato was also a 10/10, very tasty. For dessert (raspberry cheesecake), they should use less jam or use better quality, as it had very little raspberry flavor and was excessively sweet. The rest was delicious, 9 out of 10. The corn pie was a 10/10. The service was very, very good. Congratulations on having such great staff. Thank you for your patience, attention, and suggestions, especially to the lovely Ivanna, who gave us excellent service. We need more people like her. Thank you so much. We will definitely be back.
Breakfast was delicious
Good food. Good service!
Excellent place good service and good food
Good food
The red-haired waitress who served us was friendly, but the brown-haired one was very rude and had no manners. She was eating Cheetos at the entrance, not paying attention to the other customers, and her hair was loose. The waitresses who brought the food were friendly but looked dirty, with stained shirts and no hairnets when handling food. The food was very good.
The place is worth a visit; the food is delicious, the atmosphere is very comfortable, and the staff is friendly. The food is inexpensive and delicious. Don't miss the opportunity to try their delicious dishes! 😋👍
Honestly, this is the sixth time we've been, with quite a bit of time between each visit. The first time, the service was okay, with a few minor issues, but mostly good. Each time we went, it got worse (the food, however, is good). This last time, everything was terrible. There were only three tables, and it took half an hour to get served (we were a family of four). The drinks were scalding hot, the sandwich was incomplete, and they only paid attention to us after we'd been talking amongst ourselves for 20 minutes. Overall, bad service, but good food.
The portions are large. I ordered a Swiss omelet, and it had a lot of chicken, something few places offer. They also offer two sides to choose from: hashbrowns, salad, chilaquiles, and beans. The taste is very homemade, and it was good. What I didn't like was that a table arrived later, and they were served drinks and main courses first. Also, check your receipt carefully because they were charging me an extra I didn't ask for.
Place has good vibes and food is "ok". This is not a vegetarian place but has some vegetarian options. Here you'll find something like a mexican version of a panini (plain, served in a very thik bread and not very good). Portions are fair vs prices. The downside of my visit was the poor service we received. You have the option of having your dish with any of three sides and we where not asked what would it be, so we specified the waiter. The dishes came and they served whatever they decided. So we had to send them back to be changed. We ordered a lemonade and this was served a while after the food came. I hope you get a better experience.
The food was good, but they take forever to even bring a simple cup of coffee. I literally finished my breakfast and the coffee still hadn't arrived. I feel like it's more the waiters' fault because they serve very reluctantly, and it even took them almost half an hour to take my payment.
Well, while the food is tasty, the service is truly deplorable. The waitresses act like you don't exist when you arrive. This time, the place was practically empty, and to get served, we had to wait until they finished chatting amongst themselves. Even though they saw us, they just kept talking. Well, once they finally served us, it took them 40 minutes to bring some juice, boiling hot coffee, and equally boiling hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was completely undrinkable; I had to ask for it to go, and half an hour later, I could barely drink it. This place leaves much to be desired, and frankly, it's not worth it; the service completely ruins the flavor of the food. Personally, I don't like being served by people with bad attitudes. If I could, I definitely wouldn't give it even one star or one rating because the service isn't even worth that.
I went there because I was invited for breakfast. The waitress was incredibly rude; they gave me cold coffee, I complained, and they brought me a cup of hot water, as if I were mocking them. I mentioned it again, and another person served me, and then they gave me coffee. Later, the same grumpy girl served the table next to me, and the whole breakfast was cold. Honestly, it was awful; I won't be going back.
I had been there before, and the service was slow because the place was full, which is understandable. But this last time, they just assigned us a table, and no one came to take our order. They just walked around asking other tables if they needed anything, but they didn't even look at us. It was obvious they didn't want to serve us because three waitresses were busy cleaning a single table. And when we asked them to clear our order, they ignored us, and another waitress told us her colleague would be right there, which never happened. We decided to leave because it was clear they didn't want to work. The service has changed a lot, and honestly, I don't think I'll be back to have the same experience.
Incredibly slow service. Even at only 20% capacity, it took them 25 minutes to bring my food. The change took 10 minutes to arrive. And the food was bland; I'm better off going somewhere else.
