A very nice visit here for lunch. We enjoyed the wagyu meatball appetizer; the complimentary bread was incredibly delicious. The lasagna was well layered with cheeses and sausage, rich and mouthwatering. I also enjoyed the mushroom ravioli and coffee here. Everything was perfect and the service was excellent. The interior is beautiful with wood and leather elements throughout.
My family went here for Thanksgiving... The place is huge, but it was entirely full up! Service was great, and we never felt rushed. The food was uniformly great, with portions of everything large enough that taking stuff home was inevitable. And overall, the value proposition was overwhelmingly positive.
Amazing experience here. All you can eat Italian food if you pay for 4 people or more. You get appetizers, entrees, and desserts, unlimited. We had so much food we took home enough for days.
Has totally improved since the last time I ate here a few years ago. We had a large family style dinner. It was nice.
Cindy was my waitress for a Valentine’s dinner and she did amazing, very attentive, kind and efficient, will definitely be visiting again!
Maggiano's gets a solid 5 stars! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for any occasion. The service is top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff. And the food? Absolutely delicious! Each dish is crafted with care, using fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. Highly recommend for an unforgettable dining experience!
Food was good as well at the ambiance. The waitress Amanda D. was exceptional! Made sure several times to ask if we needed anything. Also, Made sure to clear off the table as soon as the dishes were emptied! What a great experience, I would definitely request her next time as well.
The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Manager Jasmine and our server Ruben went above and beyond with their kindness and attentiveness, making the experience even more enjoyable. I was very impressed with both the quality of the food and the service. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Our server, Raphael, is the best we’ve had at this location. Very attentive, kind, friendly and professional. We were there for my husbands birthday and he even remembered to present the cake without singing (as per my husband’s request). The food was great with large servings.
I had my 35th birthday dinner here last night and I have to say the experience was PHENOMENAL. The food was delicious (as always), I have no complaints. Our servers Manuel & Margerita did an amazing job. They made the entire dinner experience go perfectly. I honestly feel there should be more servers like them. Thank you to our servers and the cooks. You guys all did your thing, lol!
I am not the type of person to leave reviews but I had to, this place was the BEST Italian restaurant I have ever been to with my family and our waiter Cody was so amazing!! He made my mom’s birthday so special! The food was OUTSTANDING, and the place itself looks incredible! Would 100% recommend, I will definitely be coming back!!
Just for fun we ordered every appetizer to taste them all. Everything was amazing 👏 🤩 🙌
Very nice place. This has a true authentic Italian style. Very clean, organized, decorative, spacious and decent. Had a great meal. Did was cooked just right. Great deal on the 1 person package meal where you get a appetizer, entree and a dessert for only $32. The quantity is awesome, very fulfilling. They also have a package for 2, which comes out great too. You can choose 2 appetizers, 2 entrees and a dessert for two. The staff is very nice, they don't forget about you. They have great attitude and are friendly trying to offer you everything. I mean I walked out of the restaurant with 3 additional dishes. They have this thing where after you eat you can get a take home dish for only $5. Makes s great lunch. Food is priced right, especially for pasta dishes. However if you are eating meats of seafood, expect to pay a bit more but then again which restaurant doesn't do that. Their marineras sauces are great, true Italian delicacies. The deserts are good, I had the sample which of course gives me 5 different desserts. Great way to sample. Everything else is great. They have a bar area, TVs, banquets, where you can throw a party and parking. Can't complain. Enjoy.
I came with a group of 18 for dinner. Amanda and Manny were our hosts. They were excellent. We had them working but were up to the task and they did it with a positive attitude. The food was delicious: pastas, steak, chicken, salads, calamaris, mozzarellas and drinks. They have a sharing special where you get refills on the plates until you are full. Their bread to start is yummy. The place was full with big groups that night.
we ate here recently and had delicious food. The waiter/waitress was very personable and cared about our evening out. I highly recommend the chicken Parmesan at this location. if we go out for Italian, this is the place we go as it is on point.
My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant for the first time on Saturday and our dinner was nothing short of exceptional. I had called two hours priors to our reservation time to push back our dinner, the staff member who answered was incredibly helpful and made it a quick process. Our waiter made the entire experience even more pleasant. Throughout the evening, Raphael's attentiveness never wavered as his friendly conversation and genuine interest made sure we had a great dining experience. As our meal concluded, Raphael surprised us with a complimentary dessert sampler and a free take-home entree. Raphael's exceptional service truly made our evening special. His attentiveness, friendly nature, and the unexpected extras—both the dessert sampler and the take-home entree—elevated our dining experience to a whole new level. I highly recommend this location to everyone. The food is fantastic, but his incredible service is what makes us want to return again.
This place was a very wonderful experience! We got very good server named Henry he helped us find vegetarian options and he got us a good deal of two salads, 2 appetizers, everybody gets a choice of main course, and a whole tray of desserts. The food tastes authentic and I really hope you come to this place to eat! If I could, I would give this place 100/100 stars!! Hope you come here to enjoy the fun food and experience!
Our recent lunch at Maggiano's was a spectacular experience, we had a perfect rib eye steak that was expertly paired with a red wine on our server Adrian's recommendation, a classic Maggiano's salad (so fresh!), and a flawless New York cheesecake (absolutely phenomenal!!), all elevated by Adrian's impeccable, attentive, and knowledgeable service, which has me and my husband eagerly anticipating our next visit.
We did a family style Easter brunch and there was plenty to eat and plenty of leftovers to go! The staff was phenomenal, food was freshly prepared and delicious! Please be sure to make reservations ahead, as during holidays and special occasions, it maybe difficult to get seating on time without a reservation.
The food was like a taste explosion in my mouth—every bite was next-level awesome. The lobster carbonara? Man, it was so good I almost proposed to it. The place had total gangster-movie vibes—like I was expecting Al Pacino to pop out and order a whiskey. And the staff? Christian and the crew were so on point I wanted to give them all high fives. Zero complaints. I’m already planning my next food-fueled heist there! 🍝💥🕶️
Had dinner here tonight! Earl was a great server I recommend asking for him! The food was great.
It’s a very nice Italian restaurant, food was very good and atmosphere is perfect t for family dining, service was good and this place is kids friendly unlike Houston’s in this riverside mall location. I enjoyed chicken francese, my husband liked his salad and my toddler girl really liked the pizza and that side of meatballs.
Who doesn't love this place??!!?! I've been to different locations, and it's always the same result ...... I leave super stuffed and Happy! I've been to the restaurant for party events in the private rooms and also as a sit down dinner with friends and family. The food and service are aaaaalways so great! There is plenty of parking in the area and everything in the restaurant just so clean, nice and on point! You will never be disappointed 😁
The personal vibe at Maggiano's is awesome. Ambiance is standard, clean and inviting.
My wife and I made this our favorite go-to. It's very classic. The food was really good. The portions are very satisfying. You have to try the Moca Mojito. I highly recommend this place for a great time. It's not really so pricey.
Generous dinner style portions. Food was diverse with lots of options to pick from. Most was flavorful and brought to the table hot. Waitstaff was attentive.
The restaurant was very clean. Our server was attentive and made good suggestions. The cocktails were really good and came out quickly as did the food. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the chicken francaise and chicken parm were. The portions were huge and we took some home. It was a nice experience.
When I went to Maggiano’s Little Italy at Riverside Square Mall in Hackensack, I immediately noticed how polished and welcoming it felt. The lighting, the décor, and the music created a fancy Italian atmosphere without being over the top. It felt like the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy your meal, and take your time. We chose the family-style option, and that’s really what made the night special. The food just kept coming — shrimp scampi, salmon, pasta, salad, and more. They brought out big platters, and every time something was getting low, they asked if we wanted more. It truly felt like we were being taken care of. The shrimp scampi stood out right away. The shrimp were large and cooked perfectly, and the garlic butter sauce was rich and delicious. I kept reaching for extra bread just to scoop up the sauce. When the dish was gone, they simply brought another one, like it was no big deal, which felt really generous. The salmon was just as impressive. It was flaky, tender, and full of flavor — not dry at all. It honestly tasted like something from a higher-end restaurant. And again, when the platter was empty, they offered to bring more, which made the whole experience feel EXTRA special. The service was excellent from start to finish. Our server was kind, professional, and really knew the menu. They checked in often, refilled drinks, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed. It felt like real Italian hospitality. The atmosphere added a lot to the meal. With the soft lighting, white tablecloths, and classic Italian decorations, the restaurant had a slightly upscale, “special occasion” feel, but it was still comfortable enough to just sit back and enjoy. It felt like the kind of place you’d want to come back to with family. I left stuffed, happy, and honestly excited to come back another time.
I've eaten here many, many times over the years. Was most recently here for New Year's Eve 2025. The restaurant was clearly very busy, and even with being busy, they managed to provide a wonderful dining experience. Our server, Marianna, was friendly and attentive; food was delicious, and was served at an enjoyable pace. Very pleased with Maggiano's!
Our group of 8 had a wonderful dining experience. We had the Family style meals. There was plenty for everyone and all were delicious. Our waitress was wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed.
We had a waiter named Victoria and she was absolutely amazing. She checked on us regularly and made sure everything was great. The food was the best Italian food I have had at s restaurant. They will work with any allergies you many have. And lastly the atmosphere was amazing as well.
I've never been to the restaurant for a regular meal, but Maggiano's is our family's go-to venue for big celebrations. This location has several private spaces, with modular walls that can convert to accommodate parties of all sizes. We've attended functions of all kinds here, and each time, we left feeling completely full and sated. For a chain, Maggiano's punches well above its weight class with its mix of ambiance, service, and generous portions of dependable pasta-centric dishes. The food is surprisingly decent for something that's cooked and served in such volume. My favorite entree from my most recent visit was the chicken parmesan. I don't know how they achieved it, but the cutlets somehow stayed crispy under the load of hot red sauce and melty cheese. The service is fantastic. Every time we've rented out a space, the staff were readily available and attendant to our evolving needs throughout the event. The all-you-can-eat part of the catered events is a major plus. When our table raved over the fried calamari and quickly bulldozed our shared platter, we only needed to ask for a refill. Minutes later, our server came by with a plateful of freshly fried calamari. What a dream.
Visited on Mother’s Day 5/11 at 3:15pm. Overall was worth going but not as nice as our experience on Thanksgiving there. The bread with salami and olives at the beginning is always a good start here. Four appetizers were served, with the best being the Wagyu meatballs and the fried zucchini. The calamari was subpar and the Caesar salad did not have enough dressing. Our salad was not even brought with the other appetizers and we had to ask for it. No extra dressing was included and that would have helped given how little it had. Our four entrees were the lobster carbonara, the bolognese, chicken parmigiana, and the Wagyu beef stuffed shells. Best of these were the lobster carbonara and the bolognese. The Wagyu beef stuffed shells were ok but actually tasted much better left over once all the sauce and cheese set in more. The chicken parmigiana was subpar and a letdown. It would have been better to have the cheese more melted and overall it seemed undercooked. Was also frustrating that the entrees were brought before we had finished the appetizers as there was no room on the table. We had to scurry and get the leftover appetizers packed up quickly so the entrees could be placed. Our table was rather far from the kitchen which had an impact on service combined with a busier holiday. It even seemed our server was waiting on tables clear across the room from ours, which also made it tougher to get attention. Desserts were all very good with cheesecake, tiramisu, and lemon cookies. Was disappointed there was no prosecco toast for mothers as advertised on social media. It would have been a nice touch. It also felt some clientele were not taking the atmosphere seriously, such as wearing hats on backwards during their meals. Was not as festive as our Thanksgiving visit and felt just like visiting any other noisy chain. Willing to give it four stars overall as a trip all things considered. We will probably return sometime but likely avoid busier days and times.
The fried zucchini was just amazing 100000 out of 10 th sauce was tangy it was more than perfect. I had the clam pasta and it was kind of tasteless needed more seasonings and flavor
Great service and delicious food. Outstanding decor and atmosphere! One complaint was that our waters had no ice and were in short glasses. Our waitress came by once to refill our glasses and then never came back when she realized we didn't drink it the first time around. Maybe have taller glasses for water. We ordered the Chicken Alfredo and Linguine Di Mare. Both came out delicious and saucy. I recommend getting Parmesan cheese on the pasta. We opted out of the dessert because we were full but they had a lot of options including Tiramisu and Zeppeles (Italian donuts) which we were very tempted to get. Perfect location, did not know this was here so I was very hungry and happy to have some pasta today! Thank you for the meal 😋
Ordered their lunch combo. Soup or salad with half a sandwich or flatbread for $19.00. Great salad with fresh ingredients. Half sandwich was okay, but the fries that came with it were yummy. I preferred the flatbread with sausage. We all had a great time in their lovely ambiance.
We came here for Thanksgiving, with friends for our first time. We had Turkey, Salmon and Ham. We had to order this way because, we are all different in food taste. Turkey was good, you can tell it wasn't freshly cut Turkey from birds they cooked there. Higher quality, deli style. Gravy was good. But a tad salty for my taste. But still good. Salmon was done beautifully. Ham cut to thin, curls up. Dry. Mash potatoes good, but fake. Not enough Stuffing or sweet potatoes on plates to feed all . Foods family style. We didn't say anything because over all it was good. Sorry, we weren't a fan of the zitti. We absolutely loved our waiter, Manuel. I made another reservation for Saturday, making sure he will be in and we can request him. He made our experience so warm, enviting. Like being at home. He became a friend. Wonderful manners, I went to get up, he reached his hand out to help me get up. Our younger generation is losing this. But he was a gentleman. Completely impressed. Food ok and service fantastic. Our waiter did address our food issues as well. Made it better. Desert and coffee were good. Let's see how Saturday goes, I'll write another review then.
This is why I don't like to go out and eat on a holiday. I thought spending a Thanksgiving with family at a restaurant would be fun. I knew it could be pricey but the main corses at this Itailian franchise left little to the imagination. I'm not sure the servers knew that the so called "Traditional Roasted turkey" was actually not even real Turkey. They kept on telling us it was real turkey, but we knew better. It was basically fully processed deli Turkey you can get at the supermarket. Believe me you can tell how slimey it was from the pictures I took. It was really bad. Service was a bit slow but I can understand that being there on a holiday. The bread was pretty good, but my ceasar salad had very little dressing and was just okay. What also bothered me was that the place is supposed to be family style right? Well we were a party of 4 and when the meatball and Speghetti 🍝 dish appeared, there was only "1" big meatball. Hardly enough to satisfy 4 people even with the other dishes we ordered. I've never experienced something like that before. The sauce was really good and the side sweet potato puree was great as well. The riggatoni was ehh! The standout dish was the family style blackened salmon that was very good. I just can't get that sliced processed Turkey out of my head, we thought it was really inedible. I would try and give this place a second chance because of the really good sauce they have and a few other items. It's a really beautiful looking place and we loved the atmosphere it exudes, but they just have to work a little more on execution of some of those family style dishes. Who ever is buying the food for the restaurant, please don't cheap out on the Turkey and get the real Turkey that you would cut off directly from the bone. 🚫 No to slimey Turkey!✊🏼I honestly would tell you to give it a try for yourself and let us all know your thoughts. Enjoy peoples.🙂🍽🍝🍞🥗🦃🐟🍰
The food here is terrible it’s so greasy and it’s like preheated. However it’s good for a group and the staff is behind nice. But you can’t make crappy Italian food good w butter. It’s so much butter and oil and it’s like an Olive Garden just 4x the price.
To be candid, I had anticipated more exceptional pastas from a well-established and renowned Italian restaurant. Regrettably, the pasta quality was merely average. The coffee, sweets, and service were as expected.
So far this is my third location I’ve visited at a Maggiano’s, I can’t say the food was bad but my dish just didn’t have that much flavor and my wife’s dish was a bit better. I got the fried calamari as a appetizer which was great! I ordered the shrimp scampi and my wife ordered the chicken fettuccine. The staff were great and sat us down within 5-10 mins with reservations I just wish the food had more flavor. No big deal though sometimes restaurants have an off day too which is understandable.
I recently ordered catering from Maggiano’s and had mixed feelings about the experience. The main dishes were great. However, I was disappointed with the dessert portion of the catering. The menu advertised “mini desserts,” which gave the impression of variety and a fun ending to the meal which is what we had when we catered in NYE 2023. Unfortunately, what we received this time for our NYE 2024 party were only lemon-flavored cookies, with no other options or variety. While the cookies were okay, they didn’t match the quality or expectations set by the rest of the meal or the description on the menu. If you’re planning to cater, you might want to confirm the dessert details ahead of time or supplement with your own options if variety is important to you.
So disappointed. Spent over 600.00 for this ….160.00 alone on this beef and 48 on this salad uhhhhhhhggg
My boyfriend and I came here for date night and let me tell you.. I had an amazing time! I had the blackened salmon with shrimp & it came with sautéed spinach and mashed potatoes.. that was a 10/10 for me!! And the espresso martini was to die for!! Mozz sticks were a nice appetizer to start, I wish I had ordered the wagyu meatballs instead!! My boyfriend had the chicken parm, he didn’t enjoy the pasta too much because he said it tasted very blend and he was disappointed. We also had the sangria and that didn’t taste good either. We should’ve went with martinis instead. But other than that, we both had a great time!!
I had an amazing time per usual at Maggianos with my mom. She ordered the Salmon Oscar and really enjoyed it. I had the Famous Rigatoni D, which was good. The sauce was just a tad bit loose. When I finished the rest of it at home I bit down on a bone, which had me nervous. We also had the Zucchini Fritte which are amazing! I ordered the apple crostada to go. It was so hot that it ate through the plastic!! Abit scary, I like my food hot, but not that hot!! Lol all in all still an amazing time with good food. Izzy was an amazing host!!! My mother was adamant about having a booth. She was so kind and patient to accommodate us. Adrian was our server and he was great as well!!
Disappointing. Came in for a celebratory dinner, figured I haven't been here in over 10 years and it was an idea it to try again. On the front, the atmosphere is very nice and clean and neat. Our waiter was superficially kind, but was definitely not attentive. There were several Christmas parties going on and even though the whole restaurant was not full it took forever for him to get back to us. He also took it upon himself to pick a $23 wine when I had just asked for a glass of Chardonnay. We ordered the calamari which was good. Cesar salad was also good. But, both chicken dinners on the table were less than mediocre. I would compare it to cafeteria food. With that said, and a bill of over $100 it's definitely not worth it.
Been to Maggianos many times and absolutely loved it. Last night not so much. The bread with dipping oil and cheese was a favorite. And it was gone! Now the bread looked like Texas Roadhouse rolls. It was good but not Italian. The chopped salad was different too. Not much flavor. The Rigatoni D tasted like buttery pasta. Where was the typical sauce! We were very disappointed! Our waiter was a bright spot. He was very attentive, personable and helpful. Hope the food issue was a one off but I’m afraid it might not be. I was in Hackensack Maggianos.
Really not in my nature to give a one star review, but I actually got food poisoning from this meal. I was super excited to try the new menu, which was revamped completely new, bummed a few of my favorites were missing, but excited at the new things! The meatballs were good, my Caesar salad unfortunately tasted like fish juice. My fiancé ordered the chicken Parm with ziti, which was stone cold. I had the four cheese ravioli, which I threw up in the parking lot shortly after.
There was something wrong with my drink today. Shortly after drinking it, I felt dizzy and experienced blurry vision, which has never happened to me before. I’ve never had any issues with this restaurant until today, so this was very concerning and disappointing. I hope this is taken seriously, I was very scared when it happened and I don’t have any allergies so it’s definitely the drink it self as customer safety should always come first. I even had to drink 6 cups of water to flush out whatever was in the I hope they fire whoever served this drink
I am so disappointed. I have been going to Maggiano's for the last ten years on Christmas Eve with my family. I called a month ago and booked a reservation. I was called three times over the last month including this morning asking to confirm my reservation. Tonight, my family and I show up 15 minutes before our reservation. We get told it will be a few minutes. The hostess then comes over and starts to speak with different groups, about their reservations, but she did not speak with us. At 6:45, 15 minutes after our reservation I go up to the hostess and I am told that there are multiple people in front of us. I bring up my reservation with the hostess, and she says everyone ahead of us also has a reservation. The hostess then says that even if we were to be given a table ahead of everyone else, we would not get food for another 90 minutes. There goes ten years of family tradition.
