We like it very much. First time we were there on my birthday, and place was wonderful, food very delicious, service excellent. And then we went again. So, this is our favorite place for now . I will definitely recommend it. Atmosphere is very comfortable and cozy.

This restaurant is located in what is now a busy plaza, it gets crowded at times. The waitress was really nice and attentive, food was delicious, we ordered Edamames as appetizer, Crab Fried Rice and Volcano Sushi Roll for the main course, the Crab Fried Rice was super flavorful and cooked perfectly, also I can tell you they use real crab, not the imitation, the Volcano Roll was a surprise to me, it was a real explosion of seafood on top of the roll topped with tempura crumbs and eel sauce, super delicious. After that meal did not have any space for dessert, next time I will go for Ice Cream Tempura, it looks good. They also offer a Lunch Menu until 3:00pm. Recommended place in Hallandale. Update: Came back to have lunch and tried the Green Curry Shrimp, it was delicious, all the flavors were easily identifiable, the coconut milk adds that sweetness that the curry needs, also had Pad Thai, it was really good too. To finish lunch ordered a new item on the menu, the Tempura Cheesecake with Ice Cream, super delicious, not a fan of Cheesecake but this one made me a believer.

Quiet place, not too shabby BUT THE FOOD was amazing...the crispy bok choy was to die for, crab rangoons were not too sweet...just a perfect filling, the lettuce wraps were on point the lychee-tini was tight...not a single complaint

So growing up Asian in a diverse big city and having lived in South Florida before, I knew I needed to temper my expectations. Cilantro is an Asian Bistro, so there isn't really one region specialty. The decor could have been for any other style restaurant, too. The server was pleasant and attentive. The menu is extensive. It's a generally good asian food place. I had the red curry with chicken. It was generously sized and the chicken was tender. The Garlic Tofu- steamed. The dish was generously sized, more than enough for one person, and correctly seasoned. It tasted good- as expected. For rice snobs- their Jasmine rice and brown rice was good. We'd go again, because it satisfies when you've got an Asian food craving.

This was our second visit. My wife and I have been looking for a Sushi Thai restaurant close to us without having to travel outside of the area. This is it!!! We started with a tuna yuke. Awesome!! The fish tuna and avacado was fresh and delicious. We ordered the sashimi mori for the main entree..5 types of fish...fresh delicious and a work of art. The sushi chefs are amazing and creative! Cilantro is now our go to place for sushi!

Lovely place and amazing food. The inside is really nice but eating outside for solid safety in a summer day was even nicer. We ordered a few appetizers to share, the vegetable gyozas steamed, edemame, Thai chicken wings, spring rolls. I highly recommend the gyozas and spring rolls. Fine? No… this place was exquisite, the food was by far amazing, my wife and I came into this restaurant blindly because we were studying next door and got hungry. Their chicken wonton soup was by far the best I ever had, a flavor I had been looking for ever since I was a child, and finally I find chefs that can nail that flavor. Fragrant, clear, earthy, seasoned, etc. this soup is really to die for our waiter mark delivered professional service to us and Justin as well, answered kindly every question we had regarding the menu. We will definitely be coming back. Give those men a round of applause👏🏽

My boyfriend and I ordered pad see ew, pad thai, and spring rolls for take out. It was ready quickly and the staff was very friendly. A good solid choice for Thai take out! It satisfied our craving for Thai food, but wasn’t really anything to write home about. The spring rolls were nice and crispy on the outside, but mushy on the inside. I really liked the dipping sauce: it had a citrus flavor to it that I found unique. The pad thai and pad see ew were both tasty, but the noodles were a little overcooked (although I attribute that to them sitting in a take out container for a few mins, steaming) and could have used a bit more spice and lime. Also, very large portions! We both had enough leftovers for a second meal. Overall, I will probably be back! I hope to eat in the restaurant next time

I’ve eaten here two days in a row now. The sushi is fantastic! The rainbow roll was excellent; the fish was fresh and tender. The salmon bites are absolutely delicious; a perfect combination of flavors. Moreover, the team here works wonderfully together. The staff are friendly and exude a genuine desire to serve. The bartender Mario is attentive and makes great drinks! The food here is great, but it’s the service and warm atmosphere that makes me want to return all the time! Great team working here and good quality of food. The value is definitely worth the money.

I went here on a Friday night to have dinner with my family. It was relatively empty so our party of 8 was seated as soon as we got in. The restaurant was exceptionally clean, and we'll lit. The music wasn't very loud, so we were able to talk to each other and not be forced to scream. I ordered a whiskey and ginger smash to drink, whick was very good. The drink was to sweet, and the bitterness of the whiskey wasn't over taking. To eat, I ordered a JB roll, which was delicious. This place is perfect for a quick and casual dining experience.

Never dissapoint. I love the place, their sushi is really good, not overpriced, decent variety of appetizers too. The only complaint, and more than a complaint is a suggestion, is to have a signature sushi roll with cilantro. Cilantro, salmon, avocado, green onions, asparagus and any other thing you might want to add. That would be something I would eat over and over again!

The Sushi and the Pad Thai (chicken) was excellent. I took the tuna sushi that is one of their signatures, and it didn't disappoint at all! A tiny bit spicy but for me that's added to the rolls.

Attentive and informative servers. Fresh sushi and sashimi was good, and hope next time the chef will use a cutting style called hira- zukuri, especially with the tuna and salmon we ordered. It would have been easier on the pallet. The Thai food was very good, especially the soup.

Cilantro has amazing vegan options. Their vegetables are fresh and crunchy. Their sweet potato rolls are amazing especially when you add jalapeño. We made our own with cucumber, avocado and jalapeño and we ordered the vegetable combo. We also ordered edamame, house salad and vegetable gyozas. Everything was delicious!

A great Asian restaurant option. I ate the chicken fried rice, which was good. Even better, though, was the miso soup, which I would highly recommend. While it was good, it was a bit expensive, more than I would have liked for the food quality. The service was good, and the restaurant was clean.

This was our second time in this place. First time (2022) was great, so we came back. But this time around the experience was not as good. It was understaffed and the waiters were serving several tables. Our order was wrong twice. Red curry was not as good as las time. Grilled squid was superb. Drinks were great

In our four day trip to Miami, this was definitely the best food we came across. Everything from the fried calamari to California Sushi to chicken friend rice to the Pineapple rice with Lobster tasted good. The service was a bit slow, maybe because of the fact that it was Halloween parade night.

Since I did a study abroad in Thailand I always hold my breath before trying a new Thai restaurant. However Cilantro did a great job! The spice level was perfect for medium with some heat and very tasty. My friend enjoyed her sushi.

The service was great, and polite. The fish seemed fresh and very tasty. My only problem is that the food selection was limited and the rice was pretty rough. I'm very nitty gritty about sushi and the rice prevented me from completly enjoying the food. The portions are filling so that's a plus! Personally wouldn't return but that's only because of the rice. Everything else was great!

We stumbled upon this place online after the initial restaurant we were going to wasn’t open. Diana was amazing and was honest about recommendations which I appreciated as you’re spending decent money so you might as well enjoy it. Food was delicious. We got the Cilantro Cooler upon Diana’s recommendation and it was refreshing, we had 3! I got the drunken noodle, hamachi hotto roll and the Cilantro Roll. My friend got the pad wood sen and they graciously substituted a different noodle for her. This was a great find and will definitely come back as long as Diana is our server!

I frequent this spot often - mostly via takeout, but sometimes dine in. I have to say their Pad Thai always hits the spot for me each time, and their menu is vast so the likelihood that they’ll have something you want is always pretty high, so my husband and I have this as a backup when we don’t feel like cooking. In person, I found myself waiting a while for the food to come, and the drinks were a little underwhelming, ergo the missing star. That being said, I will always be grateful to this spot for being a trustworthy spot for our takeout nights! ✨

Excelente comida asiática, en mi caso, comimos rolls de sushi, muy buenos todos los que pedimos. Fresco y bien presentado. La atención fué normal, nada especial, hacen bien su trabajo en atender al cliente. El local es amplio, concurrido a ciertas horas de comida, sus mesas y sillas cómodas cuando sirven los platos o recibes la orden para compartir. Pedimos por delivery y era la primera vez que comía este tipo de comida por lo se me fue difícil poder saber que estaba pidiendo. Para explorar estuvo Ok. Pediría los four season rolls, las gyozas de cerdo y el tuna tartar, estuvieron increíbles, sobretodo el primero! El beef Jerky me pareció ok. Lo que no me gusto (en mi opinión ya que no estoy acostumbrada a esos sabores) es el short ribs curry es como una sopa dulce con leche, coco y hierba buena parece, que para mi gusto no era rico, venía con arroz integral. Igual recalco es la primera vez que como este tipo de comida así que no sabía lo que pedía. Sugiero que pongan algunas fotos en uber eats.

This review is purely for the seemingly newly implemented policy of having the bussers hover around your table like flies at a picnic. The food is 10/10, the servers and waiters are also 10/10, just the right amount of attentive without being overbearing. The bussers on the other hand, don’t know what to do with themselves besides, keep their hands behind their back and ask you if you’re done with your meal when they clearly see that there’s food on the plate. Not saying they're rude or anything they're nice but the constant hovering? Super awkward and ruins the atmosphere while you’re eating. Not sure if management told them to act busy or what but it ain't working and just makes the whole vibe weird. Again the food is 10/10 and the waiters have always been great. I’ve been coming here for years and this seems to have started a few months ago and it’s gotten increasingly more annoying each time, now with alternating bussers coming to your table every 2 minutes and asking you if everything is alright and trying to take stuff on the table even if you’re not done.

Appetizers were fine, had gyoza and spring rolls. Mongolian beef was very average. Not tasty and not enough beef, it was all vegetables. Same thing with Pad Thai, very ordinary and chicken way too dry. Sorry

It’s changed a lot over this time frame as any place would. But recently it’s been so dramatic of a change it’s actually insane. DO NOT PLACE A TAKE OUT SUSHI ORDER!!!!!! You will get half the food FOR THE SAME PRICE 😭. This roll is allegedly the black dragon roll that costs $24.15 …. HOW IS THIS WORTH THAT PRICE. Maybe I expect too much but this is actually abysmal and I’m so sad to see this place go down hill like this.

We had this place for the first time and it looked decent online, but the food was not it! Me and my husband both got really bad food poisoning and had to send most of our food back because it tasted like chlorine! I didn’t get anything raw and still got severe food poisoning! Be careful eating here!!

The quality of food was getting worse but now it’s HORRIBLE! We went to this restaurant and all of my legs, my purse and my phone case turned blue because of chemicals they use to clean tables and seats. Sushi were over fried and horrible, ramen had expired chicken. We called them 2 times and we came to talk to the manager in person about this horrible experience we had. The manager doesn’t speak English. The owner of this place and customer service team offered us a $20 discount after we left them a claim about horrible food and dangerous chemicals that destroyed my purse, iPhone case, dress and skin. Horrible food and customer service. Never go!

Update: Be careful when eating out. I thought this place was like before with the standards in place of the prior owners. The salad tasted the same as well as the awesome dressing. I'm afraid that their sanitation practices are not the same. My mom and I both got horribly sick for 2 days after eating here. After testing out what it could have been, I found out that it was the fried rice that was contaminated. I've never had better service from any restaurant ever. This restaurant is the best and Alan is the absolute best. We were treated like family. He really cares about you and is so detailed in making sure everything is allergen safe. The food is fresh and yummy. Everything is plated and prepared with such care and attention to detail. It's the only place where my mom eats all her salad. The BEST!!!

Having visited for the third time, we are disappointed to share that we will not be returning. My husband's order of a MASAMAN curry was unfortunately served as a salmon curry. While we understand that errors can occur, there was a lack of responsibility demonstrated. Furthermore, the manager engaged in an argument with my husband, insisting that he had ordered the dish, despite his fish allergy. Did she genuinely anticipate him consuming it? The customer service and management were truly unsatisfactory. Please be aware when visiting, you will not be treated curteously.

A disgrace . I canceled an order a month or two ago . Called to even apologize after placing it . Yes it was an emergency and I couldn’t make it . Apparently they took it very personally and decided it was worth to block me from placing further orders with them After my call today . I explained I called to cancel. It was out of my control. Nope they didn’t care . They decided that putting a block in their computer from me placing future take out orders is better for their business. It’s a restaurant that just lost my business my family’s my friends and anyone that comes with me But the worst the nerve the owner has no respect for customers at all. They argued with me aggressively telling me I was in the wrong for not picking up a single order placed back in June . The woman made me feel like I was a criminal for missed lunch time order. I mean seriously how can you treat people with such standards . Things happen emergency’s happen I called to appolgize and they ban me from pick up orders , but had I walked in there today like I did several times after this missed pick up order I would have been seated and taken care of with no problem . Learn how to respect your loyal clients . Look up my account and see how much money I have spent on a monthly there in the past . Customers bring in more customers you clearly don’t understand the value of that . Just looking to fill your registers . Disappointed beyond measures . It was a family Favorite as we live so close . But hey sushi restaurants are one dozen not worth to go somewhere that does not respect you your family or values. And don’t respond with how rude I was on the phone. YES I WAS . Because I was very nice by calling and apologizing for missing my past lunch order that was literally one role that day. ✌🏻out cilantro in Hallandale ☮️. Very disappointing experience. The food arrived cold, took far too long, and the quality was far below what you would expect for the price charged. Honestly, it was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had. I hope you seriously improve the food quality and service.

Vengo siempre estés restaurant, y ahora pido un plato de atún y me llega esto que no es nada, es realmente un robo o una vergüenza, ya no quiero volver a pedir aquí, y jamás volveré a pedir sobre todo en tuna, Taki, horrible experiencia, la única forma de pedir satisfecho es pedir 20 de estos bocadillos, por lo cual me cobrarían en cuánto $1000? Están locos o qué?
