I recently had the pleasure of dining at this urban Sushi and Thai restaurant, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The food here is simply amazing, with standout dishes that left a lasting impression. The tuna salad was absolutely delicious, a perfect blend of fresh ingredients and flavorful dressing. However, the real star of the menu for me was the Bag of Gold. This dish is an absolute must-try and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the restaurant. The sushi rolls were also top-notch. I tried the Robio roll, and it was phenomenal. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and the cold, fresh fish was of the highest quality. Overall, this restaurant offers an outstanding dining experience with its incredible food and unique dishes. I can't recommend it enough

Melanie and Pats service was awesome. When we walked we were immediately greeted and the aesthetics is very clean and nice. The food was delicious warm fresh and full of flavor. He started off with the Tom Yum soup with chicken. We shared a ginger sauce, pork with white rice and I ordered a small fried egg rice. For dessert we had Thai donuts and they were the best we’ve had. We will definitely be back.

I recently dined at Urban Thai Sushi, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! The restaurant is located in a strip plaza with free parking. We came late Sunday and it was busy but still got seated right away. The service provided was top-notch, with an attentive waitress who was super friendly and accommodating throughout our visit. As for the food, the sushi rolls were truly delectable, fresh fish and eel. Great flavors and beautifully presented. The steamed pork Gyozas was another highlight! Super delicious. This restaurant has certainly impressed me with their excellent service and delicious food. Definitely coming back!

Deliciously fresh and well-presented good. The rolls are $1-2 pricier than other places, but the sashimi and donuts were more than enough to make up the difference. We got the beef salad, which was heavier on fish sauce than I would have preferred, but the dish was well made, and I have no real complaints.

Excellent and friendly service. The food is delicious. I really enjoyed their crab fried rice and crispy duck. I will make it a point to come back for more. I very highly recommend Urban Thai & Sushi. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Incredible food and wonderful, caring staff in a clean, modern environment. When I visit my family in Hollywood, Urban Thai is a must on our todo list. Everything on the menu is delicious and the Sushi is fresh and flavorful. I must stress,though, that the high point of this restaurant really is the excellent staff. They have, on numerous occasions, gone out of their way to make sure we feel welcomed and taken care of. They've even gone as far as to give us free dessert on multiple occasions. A true 5 star experience.

The most amazing authentic Thai food, we have had in years. The service is always above excellent. The entire staff is friendly, warm and so welcoming. For appetizer try the bag of gold, we love the seriously flavorful Panang Curry. For rolls we tried Two Sisters and Blue Ocean, this was such an amazing roll with a smoky, sweet and spicy flavor. Every time you walk in you are treated like family. This is a rare find, their prices are so much lower than any other Thai place we have tried. Must try!

We love this restaurant and it frequent regularly to dine in and take out. It is the best sushi in the area and the Thai food is great also. The pricing is appropriate. There is great value in their happy hour deals as well. We are treated very well when we come in. We highly recommend it!

I had the Massaman curry. It was delicious! They gave me extra rice to help get the rest of the delicious curry into my stuffed belly! The leeches wine was sweet! It's a small place tucked into a small plaza. The inside is cute and clean. It's a good place with good prices and great food!

Their reviews says it all, this is an amazing place. The sushi was delicious and their Pad Thai is great! The only thing I have to criticize is the service. It was a bit slow, on a week day, so I'm not sure how it would be on a weekend. Regardless, I will definitely go back soon.

Great new finding! Sushi and Thai food in Miami is not comparable to Los Angeles, however the Urban Thai really was a wonderful surprise. Great options, fair prices and the service was superb.

I literally just left this restaurant maybe 30 minutes ago. Everything was so fresh and delicious. I ordered the salmon tataki, crab fried rice, and I believe the sushi roll I had was called the N&R roll. There are a lot of other dishes I must try, so I'm definitely going back.

Twice I have made the choice to dine here Food is out of this world. Very savory and light. Must try once before you bit the big one. Lol ..no but very serious... specialty the rock shrimp platter or the title the Moon. The stir-fry noodles is a excellent choice, not to heavy and delightful dish display.

Urban Thai makes our life so easy & the food is absolutely amazing! We're a big TV studio right down the street & don't have time to stop & figure out what everyone wants to eat for lunch & order it. We simply put in a quick call Urban Thai, tell them how many people we have that day & what time we're breaking for lunch. (we give them plenty of prior notice) Piya the owner chooses the items for us & sends it over. It always lands here right at the perfect time... We lay it all out & everyone pics & chooses family style, setting up their own plate from the great selection... Somehow she always manages to get us just the right amount of food so everyone is well fed but not a wasteful amount. She even sends over boats when we're feeding & impressing our high end Client / Agency folks. (pic of that below) Always Amazing food& a super convenient & efficient way for or us to run our lunches & business. I've never taken the time to write a review... but with these guys I was completed to do so.

I usually avoid restaurants that mix cuisines from different cultures...trying to do too much usually means that nothing is done right. But this restaurant has me rethinking this bias. The sushi was delicious, and the Thai Basil was perfect. The service was also delightful; our waiter kept me laughing with his goofy jokes. I'm definitely going back

Great little restaurant, the space is open and comfortable with a few tables outside. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The menu was diverse with lots of options. Anything on the Thai menu can be spiced up, but be careful, Hot is Hot... Maybe go medium the first time. We had the adults, all ordered Thai dishes and the feedback was excellent. We will be back the next time we are in the area!!

They have awesome Thai and Japanese foods. We had the Crispy Red Snapper. It was delicious! We had it in Curry Sauce. We also had the Pineapple Fried Rice. That was amazing! We also had some sushi rolls. They also keep their food fresh and tasty. Friendly customer service. We will definitely recommend others. We give them 9.6 out of 10. 👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻

This was my first time here and I'm glad to say, it was a great experience. Place is tidy and clean, if seating inside; you're separated by clear plastic (giving you your own space). Silky sake was excellent, and we had the pineapple fried rice, enough for two and take home. The white fish rolls were on point. The Wasabi was mild, I prefer stronger. The service was welcoming and kind. I highly recommend Urban Thai & Sushi, looking forward to returning.

I have been to many Sushi 🍱 places before and this is the only place that has sushi with mango 🥭 on it which makes a big difference in taste! I loved The Moon roll and Black dragon roll. Pineapple 🍍 rice was very creative presentation and very tasty. Great service too. Loved the food and the service. Thank you. We will be back!

This was more than amazing food, it was an amazing experience! The staff is wonderful, kind, accommodating, went out of their way to make our kids happy. And every single thing our family of 6 ordered exceeded our expectations (appetizers: Gai Satay, bag of gold, shrimp in a blanket, tom yum and Tom ka soups, Main dishes: Pineapple fried rice, Thai fried rice, Red Curry, Padt Thai, Padt Woonsen, kids teriyaki chicken, Desserts: Thai donuts and mango sticky rice). This is a mom & pop shop with great service and Thai food. I’ve gone here multiple times and always feel welcomed by them, especially considering I always seem to stop by only an hour or so before they close. When I order pickup, they always call me right after to talk about my order and make sure everything I put in the notes makes sense to them. The absolute best sushi Thai restaurant we have ever experienced. The fried rice and the pad Thai was delicious !!!! The sushi plates taste so fresh , all the dishes we tasted so delicious … and they have the sauces in the middle of the table which is A+ since we love to eat our sushi with a lot of sauce !!!

This place has a nice fusion of Thai and Japanese food. The staff is super nice and the service is fast. The place is chic and the ambience music is also cool. The food was delicious. I ordered several plates and they were all really goood! The place was very clean and tidy. It does have access for wheelchairs. Definitely a family restaurant, cool for special dates and celebrations or just for a daily lunch during work!

From the beginning to end outstanding service. Immediately Greeted and when we seen the effort put into protecting the public w covid we decided to eat inside . The owner went out of her way to divide all booths w plastic walls . Saran wrap plates place sanitizer on table. When people left you can see them re sanitize the table. And they were so attentive to our needs. We made a choice to support mom n pop store that day . And I'm glad we did as no one deserves our support more than this place . Food presentation, service is all top notch. I'm definitely returning . I ordered sushi this time. Next visit I cant wait to try the thai food.

Delicious! So fresh and tasty, we had the red duck curry the portion was huge! The duck very juicy and tender, with fresh tropical fruits. The presentation was beautiful. The starter tuna, crab was melt in mouth and again very fresh and clean tasting. Service was very prompt and friendly price was reflected in the quality. A+++

Anyone who loves Thai food and sushi should definitely add this restaurant to their regular go to place! The food was delicious, fresh and beautifully displayed too. Elegant presentation, but a warm and family/friendly environment made it the perfect combo. The prices at Urban Thai & Sushi were exceptional for what I'm used to paying in other restaurants in the area (for the same food, but not the same level of quality I was able to find here). Also, I wasn't rushed and was able to enjoy my meal (unlike some places I've been that seem to want to get you out as quickly as possible). Friendly service and nice ambiance made for a yummy dinner and lovely evening out. I will be dining here again for sure!

We stumbled across this place while in the area. Glad we did! For appetizer, we ordered the rock shrimp. It was 5-6 large, juicy tempura shrimps drizzled with spicy mayo. Pretty good. For our meals, we ordered the chicken Pad Thai and Lady In Red roll. They were both SO good! The pad Thai was on the sweeter side, but not overwhelmingly sweet. I loved it. The roll tasted very fresh. For dessert, we had the banana tempura…& it did not disappoint. Aside from the food being 10/10 delicious, the service was impeccable! They were on point with everything. They even have spicy mayo and eel sauce on every table, so you don’t have to ask & can use however much you want. This is a great touch. I will definitely be coming back.

If the food won’t hook you, the service will! Absolutely amazing and attentive service. We had sushi, duck, papaya salad and everything was absolutely delicious. I personally didn’t like my sushi but it was no fault of the restaurants - i experimented and personally didn’t like it. I will be back for more good food, laughter and drinks though.

Small place but they make it up with the wonderful service and the delicious food. The masamam chicken curry was with full of flavor and with good amount of sauce. The ginger sauce chicken was good but I wish I would have asked for some spice to add to it but still good.

This place is delicious!!!! I had to come back immediately after I tried it. Their food is always fresh and their service was amazing both times. Their egg fried rice is delicious and I definitely recommend it! I love it here. :)

This spot is a hidden gem! I have been coming here since 2017 before I went vegan and now enjoy it even more! The food is always fresh and the hospitality is very good. They have great lunch specials too. Highly recommend their jasmine tea as well!

Went on Thanksgiving Day , server was absolutely phenomenal great attitude always on top of things and very friends I forgot to get his name but he was 10/10 . The food was delicious I got the red curry minimal spice because I can't handle spice well and the flavor was out of this town , we all got the curry and there was practically nothing left nothing to take home unfortunately. Only complaint is I didn't get more food I would recommend this place

The portion sizes, prices, friendly staff, AND FLAVORFUL food make me need to leave a review, and I rarely leave reviews but this place is the BEST. Fantastic tasting red curry, ramen, and tom yum. The rolls are humongous and I recommend the the dragon and JB/JB tempura. All the ramen and curry is fantastic too!!

Wow my food was the best, the service was good, my server Pat was the best she went above and beyond!! Omg, I highly recommend this spot for their lunch specials and it comes with a free soup.

An extremely casual place where you can enjoy Thai classics like Beef Pad See Ew or Chicken Pad Thai, as well as Japanese delights. The relationship price/quality is fair and the portions are generous. The waitstaff are friendly and very concerned with the good customer experience.

Urban Thai and Sushi is a nice mix of Japanese and Thai cuisines in one place. The service is great and the food is better than most options in the Hallandale area. The coffee was great! Pineapple curry rice was great too.

Sushi was great! I wouldn't order the Thai shrimp fried rice again though. Since there was an extra charge for shrimp, I would have thought more would have been added in the rice.

We went for our first time on Sunday night to try this Asian Restaurant. It is located in an open mall with plenty of parking space. It has outside and inside seating, we chose inside because of the rain. For an appetizer, We ordered the steamed gyozas, delicious!! Additionally, we had the JB roll, shrimp tempura roll, and unagi roll. Each one of the 10 pieces, is super fresh and yummy! The only con thought was the size of the roll, I wish it was a little bit bigger. The service was great! The place is clean and has plenty of seating inside.

Appetizer: home-made thai spring roll was a delicious light start for two. Followed by the red curry with shrimp and white rice. You can ask for more spice as I did. It was very flavorful. The shrimp, plump and juicy with fresh bell pepper & shoots. Also ordered the Pad Kee Mao. The flat noodles were fresh, plenty and filling. Enjoyed the experience here. Food was overall very good. Experience was wonderful.

Delicious little gem, so glad we gave it a try! Love supporting a good mom and pop place. Started with drinks - thai iced coffee, ice green tea & apple juice for kiddos - all very good. The summer rolls were so fresh and the basil was deliciously pungent and rounded out the rolls. The papaya salad was fantastic albeit very small portion for price - there was more iceberg lettuce on plate than papaya itself. The teriyaki chicken off the kids menu got a thumbs up by the 4yr old - he did complain that there wasn't very much chicken on plate, he loved that it arrived on a cute hello kitty plate. The volcano roll was big ans filling for my 6yr old - he enjoyed it very much. The lady in red roll is absolutely FANTASTICLY delicious, the tuna was fresh and the think jalapeño slices on top really made the dish that much better. The vegetables in garlic sauce were nice and tender (most places overcook veggies) having that sought after crunch still, appreciated the chunks of garlic in sauce. Would totally recommend and visit whenever in area ans hungry. Family of 4 dinner was roughly $102

Why do you put tempura in a spicy tuna roll without disclosing it in ingredients in the menu? Had more batter than actual tuna. I don't eat gluten and was hoping to at least eat this roll. The crab salad appetizer also had way too much tempura. Not my style of sushi at all.

I picked up my order which was a salad with ginger dressing and an order of Edammame. Got back to my office and opened the bag, there was no ginger dressing for my salad. Was too busy working to go back for the dressing. Had to eat the salad dry.

It was my first dine-in visit today; I had the Tom Kha (Veggie), Spring Rolls and the Pad Thai (Veggie). The ambiance is very nice; its generally clean, plenty of seats, up-beat music (not to loud) and soft lighting; The bathroom is clean but smells funny because there is no ventilation. While there is a wall unit A/C, it was not on - the lack of climate control in the facilities is weird and does not go over well! The wait staff, on the other hand, is exceedingly friendly, attentive and accommodating. Unfortunately, the food was lacking and left much to be desired. I've kind of become an expert on Tom Kha Gai soup, as it's one of my favorites. This had to be the worst one I've ever had! The only good thing I can say about it is that it came out quickly and was hot. Otherwise, I feel it was what I would have come up with if someone asked my to make it - for the first time. The spring rolls were fresh and delicious - the best thing I had at this establishment. Lastly, the Veggie Pad Thai was so bad that I had to send it back. I didn't even want them to remake it. Instead, I chose the egg fried rice - to go. It wasn't bad, but nothing to write home about. I like the fact that they brought the POS charging system to my table - this way, your cc never leaves your possession. I'm giving this a three out of five stars and I think I'm being fair and exceedingly generous.

This 2-star rating is not my typical review but neither was my experience. To be fair, the staffs efforts to provide a good dine-in experience is impacted by the high number of takeout orders. I waited too long for each meal which was average at best. Folks seated at the outdoor tables waited longer than I did to be greeted by staff to take initial orders. One couple that seated themselves outside left instead of waiting. I will note that the restaurant decor and bathroom is nice but I went for the food based on their ratings. Not sure if the experience would have been different earlier in the day or off-hours on a weekday though.
