i decided to give this place a try after looking at the reviews and i came in not that long ago when i had came in the kid with glasses cleaning the lobby assisted me right away i got 2 number 5 gizzards it took him no longer then 8 minutes to get my order done and everything was fresh i was surprised and felt the need to share this.Great customer service!!!

Yesterday I ordered 20 tenders with mash and gravy the food was delicious and the employees were great especially that tall white guy with a beanie on his head he said he didn’t feel to good but he still got my food to me within 7-8 minutes I appreciate the dedication and I would say he is a great worker !!

Damn, the reviews suck at this place. I didn't check b4 goin in, good thing. It seemed ok to me. Dont want to b judgey but I could see where the others might b coming from. Those were not what I expected but I could sence something and knew nothing bout the reviews...food was fine and correct for me

Most of my food was great tonight. I can't speak for the chicken they didn't put in my order though. Check before you drive off! The one time I let my guard down after they Joe Bidened the prices...🤦‍♂️

Other than being fast and efficient, this location just isn’t the best. I had asked for a SPICY #1 and I had also asked for HOT serendipity salt at the window, but I didn’t get either one. I wouldn’t be as upset if they messed up one of my problems to counter the mistake, but this is unacceptable. They seemed very distracted.

I’ve gone to this location a handful of times and each time I lose more faith in Chicken e. Whoever is mixing the gravy is adding way too much water. It’s like dipping your tenders in water. The chicken tenders are being pulled from the fryer too soon or they don’t have the fryer temp correct. The fries are always overcooked. I buy an extra biscuit and haven’t gotten it the last 2 times I’ve gone. What’s the deal here? Is management not properly training these guys running the line? Or is it a lack of care from the ones running the line? Either way, I’m not coming to this location anymore. I’d rather eat Taco Bell or sit and wait 25 minutes at whataburger than hope they get my order correct at this location.

dude at the counter couldn't have been more disinterested. my ticket was $18.38, I gave him $20.45, he froze! I had to tell him my change should be $2.07. food was cold when received. okra tasted like it was fried in rancid grease. used to be good place, not anymore.

Let’s start off with a place my order had to repeat myself like four times.As I’m paying I asked the employer to repeat my order. He did exactly the way I ordered it. unfortunately Whenever I receive my order, it was not what I ordered instead of getting two chicken white meat breast. I got two drumsticks, three different combos all screwed up the tiniest tiniest piece of chicken thigh. The Biscuits were Stale !!! As I took a sip of my drink, I realized it was not Diet Coke, I was given a sprite???? The employee seem angry and annoyed the service overall 0 , if I could rate a zero, I would give them a zero no stars!!! The worst chicken I’ve ever had !!! next time I’ll go to Popeyes like I should have!!!! .!

I guess they closed before ten o'clock even though their sign on the door says ten o'clock and their website says they're open until ten o'clock.That's pretty poor service.Don't think I'll be going back here.

My 3rd attempt at this place because frankly, there aren't many choices in Haslet. The kitchen is always fully staffed with over 5 people every time yet, they put you on hold at the drive through and you're the only one there besides another couple inside already eating. I waited. Then as I was ordering, I was put on hold again. I ordered my meal which was a 2 tender snack pack. I received 3 chunks of chicken that have fallen off other tenders about the size of a McDonald's nugget and very cold fries. (Does your heat lamp not work??) I've worked in the food industry and completely understand the ups and downs but from reading the reviews today I see this is a long time pattern of the establishment and being that most CEs are independently owned and no corporate to establish any protocols, I make this review instead in hopes of warning others before making their selection of eateries for the day. Being that the selection is not vast for the area right now is probably one good reason they are not a closed restaurant YET. Growth of the area will change that and demand change to stay alive.

This chicken was gross , I ordered the 7 tenders to share with my son and when they brought it out I thought it was the wrong order because they where all compressed together and I thought it was chicken Thighs s before I pull them apart, the guy was nice enough to bring me another plate but the new Chicken looked better but it was lukewarm :( the first set of chicken really looked like it had been sitting all day and they retried it to make it warm again ! Never again ,

Buying a family meal at 4:00 in the afternoon is an automatic DO NOT ! THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS HORRIBLE, not fresh food ! The chicken was under a heat lamp all day. Dried out and greasy, the person did not put the gravy in the bag. Coke was all ice. When all taken back to show how lousy of a meal it was, they refused to refund the full price and said they would refund only half because the "Full Order" wasn't brought back? How are you supposed to know that everything except the rolls was disgusting without eating a piece ? A pathetic attitude and attempt to hang on to every dollar! Bottom line is stay away from this ESTABLISHMENT if at all cost. Especially around 4:00 !

The service is going down hill and fast. I was trying to order a #2 - 7 piece chicken tender with fries and a roll. asked for a regular side of fried okra. And found out out the window that the regular side of fried okra took the place of my drink. Tried telling them that I wanted my drink as well and The person at the window treated me like I was stupid!!!!! This place has now lost my business completely, THANK YOU Domino’s for getting my order, right!!!!

This particular Chicken Express location is the absolute worst! Went in for lunch with a coworker. We both ordered at the same time. He ordered strips and I ordered gizzards. My coworker received his order and was half way through eating his when I went to the counter to ask where my order was. The kid behind the counter said "I guess we never made it. Do you still want it?" I was so irritated. I got my money back and will NEVER return to this location.

Every time we come here we get turned away from dine in at 8 or 830 your hours are till 10 pm why are you closing your store 1-2 hrs before you close. It clearly says your hours are 10pm on your door and in google dine in and carry out till 10pm. Doors are locked and staff says we have to set the drive through.

Let started with my burned okra, 2 .issi g sides, given a side I didn't order. . My favorite part was having my containers smeared with food to look like they were full and got about 3 spoonfuls of sides. .. 90.00 to get treated like that NEVER AGAIN!!! TRASH EMPLOYEES.

Second visit to this location. Terrible experience twice.the gravy is water both times, tenders are over cooked and tiny, didn’t put all the tenders in the box. The lady in the drive through window today 1.20.2023 was extremely rude and argued with me over the speaker on what I ordered. When everyone in the car agreed she was in the wrong and I spoke clearly. Corporate needs a visit to this location.

Good luck getting anything beside thighs and bet your bottom you'll wait over 10 minutes for them. They won't get it right if you order rolls instead of biscuits...CHECK YOUR FOOD EVERYTIME!!!!! EVERYTIME THIS IS NOT FAST FOOD YOU WILL SACE MONEY AND TIME GOING TO A SIT DOWN RESTAURANT

Everytime we get food here, it's overcooked chicken, unsalted anything, lumpy milky gravy. Either get with the greatness that was Chicken Express, or just shut down. Got to train your people better. It's really not hard to mess this stuff up with instructions printed everywhere.

If I could give negative stars I would... my man and I came thru the drive thru and ordered 2 number 1s and before we could even give them our drink order the guy just cut us off from ordering then this chick comes on and we reorder what we wanted and when we asked her to repeat our order she didn't even have it.... so for the 4th time we repeated our order and she only got 1 meal down..... which they are both exactly the same how can you mess it up and we clearly said sprite for our drinks and she kept saying Dr pepper!!! These kids need to stop playing around on their phones and take their jobs seriously!!! Go back to preschool and play make believe restaurants so you learn how to not only take orders but how to LISTEN to your customers so you can give them a proper experience.....not one that leaves you so mad your mood changes from heavenly to go to hell!!!!!

Great news! Chicken Express is now offering Chicken fried dove thighs. I ordered an 8 piece, all thighs, with a family side of mashed potatoes, rolls and two large sweet teas. They repeated my order as a 3pc combo with a leg, thigh and breast and a family side. I corrected them and drove to the window where they handed me a bag with 3 boxes, no drinks and no mashed potatoes. When I questioned it they told me to hand back the top box of French fries and then got me the drinks. While they were waiting for the mashed potatoes to be brought up they told me I owed them more than $11 for the green beans because they hadn't charged me for them. WTH?? I straightened that out and drove home, only to find 8 thighs that were all smaller than the rolls and half as thick. No way the thighs came from grown chickens.

Got some corn nuggets and they weren't good at all don't know if the grease was old or what wish I didn't get off freeway for that.

Updated to 1 star: found a long brown hair In the fish. Posted photo. Would have thought it was wife’s or daughters but the hair was entangled under the breading so not happy after this The food was good. It took a while for the fried fish to get cooked so we had about a 15 minute wait. All the workers were very friendly and the food was delicious. Had chicken and fish fillets and mashed potatoes and everything was great. The hush puppies may have been the best item which speaks more to how good they were. Would have given 5 stars if not for the wait and having to go back in for forgotten mashed potatoes and gravy.

The food is decent, but the employees act like they don't care. I have been there twice now and have had my order messed up. The last time I went they stacked the macaroni and cheese on top of the gravy, and it was so hot that it melted the Styrofoam into the gravy and ruined it. Today when I went, they did not give me my order of fries. This time I went back to get my fries and the employees didn't seem to care that I was waiting at the counter. There was no one in the dining room, except for some employees on break, and there were 2 customers in the drive through waiting on food. It took a little bit of time to be noticed. When I did get an employee to help me, he acted like he was half asleep and didn't understand how I was missing part of my order. It took one of the employees, that were taking a break in the dining room, to fix my order. The prices for the food that you receive, or don't receive, is not worth it, and the customer service is definitely declining. Not a great location to go to. I even tried to call them to talk to them about my order, and no one answered 3 times. Don't even try to call them to fix complaints...no one will answer.

Waited in the drive thru line for about 12 minutes and when I get to the window, he says they just ran out of tenders! Bet your bottom dollar that if you go through the drive-thru at this location, they'll screw up your order somehow. Has happened multiple times to us. So check your order before leaving the drive-thru window. (Prices have also went up which makes it not worth it anymore.)

I came to chicken Express, at 13000 us-287 Haslet Texas 76052, took them forever to take my order in drive thru, I ordered 4 Express tenders, mashed potatoes and a side order of okra extra crispy, with an extra roll, with a 32 oz diet Coke, My total came to $16. 42 I sit in the driveway for about 10 minutes before they brought me my drink, we sat there about another 10 to 15 minutes when they finally decided to give us our food! Then, I opened the box and my okra was not extra crispy, it was cold and mushy like, I asked them if they could at least redrop the okra they said no our deep fryers are down, then I said why did you not tell me this when I ordered the okra to begin with, I'm sorry is all they would say We open up the mashed potatoes and they was runny and the gravy on top of the mashed potatoes was like water with little color it tasted horrible, Then we opened our container of actually gravy to dip our chicken in it was super thick! Like thicker than mashed potatoes ever thought about being Worst experience ever, And to top it all off we tried to call and ask for a manager and the phone is out of service! I just wish there was some way they could make this right, buy anyways, if you are reading this I hope you have a better experience than I did, also this is my first time to ever leave a bad Google review ever in my 36 years of life, I'm normally not a hard person to please! But this was a 100% waste of money! And not completely what I even ordered!
