Pollo Inka Hawaiian Gardens Reviews
Newly added Ceviche is completely traditional and tasty, might want to order extra hot if you like it spicy . They have bread now you can order to dip in the generous portions of aji. The chicken is ALWAYS perfect and the prices and portions are fantastic. I prefer Pollo Inka Express to most Peruvian dine in restaurants. The only thing that they could possibly do now for a 💯 experience is fresh chicha morada or some traditional drinks that aren't bottled. LOVE this place!!!
I had relatives visiting from out of town and I had them taste a variety of food from this restaurant. They loved it so much and wished they'd open a store in their area.
Love it great food
Excellent hot food, fast, friendly service that's family oriented! All employees make you feel welcome and are so polite! I love this place!
I love Pollo Inka Express because its much more casual than the actual restaurant. I had the chicken plate and they give you chicken, rice, beans, and soup. They actually have the rotisserie chicken rotating in front of you amd its mouth watering.
If your looking for authentic Peruvian food you need to come here! The pollo a la brasa was so incredible and the service was amazing I definitely recommend!!!!! 10/5
I can't believe Pollo Inka has a DRIVE-THRU express! According to the cashier, express has been around for 4 years, and i didnt know. An ex showed me Pollo Inka out in Torrance back in the day, I love their lomo saltado (grilled beef and onions and fries with a hot green sauce, served with delicious butter rice and a chicken soup). I can pick it up in my car as late as 10pm! Game changed! This one is close to el dorado park, what a perfect picnic with pollo inka. I don't usually like fast food because of the lack of freshness for the price, fast food aint cheap anymore. I know a few wholesome drive thrus like this throughout LA, now pollo inka express will be top of my list for convenient pick up :)
This place have great chicken 👍
This is by far the best Pollo Inka. We used to live in Long Beach so this was our go to. It was great. We moved to Redondo and now have the Hermosa one down the street, it’s overpriced and AWFUL. The pieces of chicken are TINY and dry. We visited my parents today in Long Beach and we had the Hawaiian Gardens Pollo Inka and oh my goodness, this is probably the restaurant I miss the most. We got two whole chickens and the pieces were cooked to perfection, nice and juicy. Not to mention the perfect size of the chicken. Definitely a must if you live in the area.
My biggest complaint it I keep ordering the beef Saltillo. When just about everything looks delightful. The bananas are ALWAYS on my order. The green sauce is great!
The food is just like the restaurant "Pollo Inka" it's a little expensive but definitely cheaper than eating it at the actual restaurant. My favorite dish is Lomo Saltado (with the green sauce) and it uncludes the soup with the price. It was our first time getting it drive thru and we got fast service. I would come back to this place.
Love this, it's legit Peruvian comfort food at great prices and portions. Sometimes we come once a week for takeout. I usually get the lomo saltado, plantains, and alfajores for dessert. The chicken chaufa (fried rice) is a hit with our kids. Yum!
Great food and fast service. I've only been to their other location which is much further for me to travel to. Now that I know about this one, I will definitely visit mire often. The rotisserie chicken is delicious and the fried platanos are great too.
I am giving it a five star rating it for what it is; fast food. It has a drive through window and inside sit-down area. The menu is abrieviated Peruvian, affordable and served really quick. It is a great option to the typical fast food burger chains that I'm so tired of. All the food is good and the service is friendly. Great for when you're in a hurry and Lomo Saltado It's what you want. It's not the best Peruvian I've had and doesn't have a lot of choices, but it is good, convenient and close.
Food is wonderful. I have only used the drive up window.
Did a Postmates pick up here and was pleasantly surprised that they had a soup called cilantro soup I love cilantro so I had to try it they come in small medium and large and it is hands-down the best soup I've had at a to go place with a drive-thru has chicken potato peas carrots it is so yummy. Go check them out
Hawaiian Gardens hidden jewel for fast food. Great prices, big portions, friendly service and more importantly very tasty food. This restaurant helps you eat healthy (chicken and salad) or fixed your need for comfort food (chicken fried rice and yuca)
Food is amazing. Wish I could say the same for the service. I have had 4 bad experiences with ordered online and picking up. They never seem to have the order when I arrive, everytime it's a different excuse. I reached out to managment via email. Never heard back.
Not as delicious as "El Pollo Inca" but still good. This chain is the fast-food version. Great deals that will fill you up...and they got that gold inka cola stuff!
I went in on New Years Day to pick up a door dash delivery. They didn't open until noon but they had the doors open 10 minutes early and we're already preparing orders. The guy working the front appeared to be the manager. He was very upbeat. I would definitely go back as a customer.
Yummy Peruvian food. Though it's like a fast food place the dishes were pretty yummy and enjoyable. I love the cilantro soup and beans. Chicken is pretty good too. Will definitely come here from time to time.
Great food and amazing service.
I love the food and the aji sauce. I’ve only been through the drive through and it does take a while but the food isn’t your typical fast food. It is so tasty and you can easily get two meals out of a Saltado although it’s hard not to eat it all at once.
Medelin was great and the food is constantly good 👍
I went inside because i thought it would be faster. But there eas long line so i tried drive thru. It was really fast. I changed my order to add the inka cola. It was so good, like creme soda. The chicken is so good and juicy and delicious. I cant wait to come back. I wish they some in long beach. The rice was also over filled in the to go container so they dont skimp on the servings here. We will definitely be back soon. Friendly service also. And they gave me an extra large cup of the green sauce. 😊
One of the better options for fast food in my opinion. Always been well served and have no complaints with a staff. The food is quite good for fast food. I'm pretty sure it's a lot healthier than in and out, which is another of my favorites. Less expensive than Fuddruckers.
Love that we have this nearby. I wouldn't necessarily have the expectation that this is fast food or express, I've had to wait a little for my pickups. However, without that expectation, the food is consistently great and worth the money. Will likely be coming back here routinely!
The food here is great... we had to order to go only due to the covid19 pandemic... but the great food with all it seasoning is a great and delicious taste. Different from all the traditional chicken sandwiches out there ....they all taste the same. Pollo Inka food is a great change from all the fast food restaurants. You won't be disappointed !!
I love their Combo Inka special because you get a variety of items: rotisserie chicken, white rice, beans, n house salad + it also comes with the cilantro soup which is great! Honestly the soup is my favorite dish from here. We also get the salchipapas because it is a great appetizer and I love me some fries with my pollo a la brasa. (This plate is made up of mini hot dogs n french fries with various dipping sauces: ketchup, tarter sauce n spicy mustard and the Aji hot sauce) If only they added inka Cola to the fountain machine. (Which doesn't make sense why it hasn't been done, since it is a Coke product). Last time I was here they were also out of the Inka Cola so it was a mild disappointment but that rice soup made up for it big time! And they now also have tallarines verde which is A-Mazing! It's just missing yucca but the potatoe is a good supplement.
The food is amazing and the service was quick. I got the number 4 and it was filling.
Great food at great prices, and the service is friendly too! If you’ve never tried Peruvian cuisine, you are missing out! Try this place, it is a neighborhood gem! Chaufa de Pollo, Tallarin Saltado de Carne o Pollo, Lomo Saltado, Plantains, the chicken soup…everything I’ve tried here is freshly made, tasty and well portioned. I even found out today you can ask them to prepare your plantains well done if you like more crispy and caramelized, who knew? The word “Express” in the name may give new customers the expectation that it will only take a few minutes. That is not the case, because food is made to order—not made in advance and put under heat lamps for who knows how long. The average wait I’ve experienced is probably 15-20 minutes, but it can get longer during high demand times—so be mindful of that and prepare accordingly. You can use the web to order ahead for pickup, if you want, but that requires some planning in advance :)
My first time here, very close to the house and I always wanted to try it. Ordered at the drive thru, 1/4 chicken with platanos and corn just to try. The chicken was amazing with the green sauce, the corn was ok not too sweet and the platanos was delicious. 😋 It came with rice soup which was good and they slip in a cube of chicken. 😂
*Update as of Oct. 20, 2024* As a loyal customer, I’m very disappointed with this place. They deliver decent and tasty food, but the service is not up to par. Several times when I ate at this location, we’ve had to ask one of the workers to fix the order because we would always order a whole chicken combo and get nothing but dark meat. They would fix it on the spot but I shouldn’t have to tell them to fix this if it was done right. Then today, October 20, 2024, we walked in the store and ordered a whole chicken meal as well as a half chicken meal to go. I asked the cashier if the whole chicken would come with breast meat, and she stated yes. Mind you, we come all the way from Whittier as we are, again, loyal to this establishment because of their good food. We got home and find out that we get four legs on our whole chicken order. I was pretty upset about this because again, I always have to bring it to their attention to fix it, and hoping that walking to place the order would ensure that I would get breast meat, but find out after getting home I didn’t. I called and spoke to the lady that helped us and she says that they ran out of white meat. I said why didn’t you tell us that rather than just give us dark meat and send us on our way. Meanwhile, they did have several chickens roasting and we could’ve waited for that instead they pull that fast one again and just give dark meat and not say anything about running out of white meat. I said well she should’ve told us that and give us an extra piece or two and she says oh we can’t do that. Come on guys, give us options then or tell us it’ll be a little longer because white meat is not available. I gave two because the clean and the food is good. ____________________________________ I like the fact that I don’t have to drive to the South Bay to enjoy inexpensive, delicious, Peruvian food. Unlike the other locations, the menu is pretty standard to what you’ll see at a Peruvian restaurant minus some of their seas food favorites. At their bigger locations, they have a variety of other seafood dishes I love that highlight as some of their best. However, the express does have some seafood.
I tried the saltado and the peruvian ceviche. Both were kind of expensive, but can not find any cheaper Peruvian food regardless. The ceviche is really underrated, and I recommend giving it a try.
Awesome food. I get the rotisserie Chicken with Cilantro rice. Lomo-Saltado is really good.
Always get the chicken along with their rice and beans and it's always delicious, especially with their green sauce. And for $12, it's one of the better values anywhere.
Every time I come here I order the cilantro soup, a medium or large side of the green sauce, and usually one other item that varies. The soup and green sauce are always amazing, and the green sauce I could drink. I pour a large amount in my soup, it makes it so creamy and delicious. If you haven't been, you need to give it a try. It will change your world...
I've been to the different locations, and food wise, this one has been the best experience. They accommodated my requests.. Juicy chicken, beans in a bowl, fresh sauces, turned the air conditioning down, and everything was hot, and delicious. I had the #4 11.99 and I also ordered Yuca 4.99, small hancaina sauce 1.00.
You will not find a better value on lomo saltado.... it is cheaper then any other peruvian restaurant, and that is with soup included. (While being just as good, if not better).... Feel like the portion sizes are bigger then what you get at the original... Can be a little hit or miss sometimes, but their aji sauce is the best. I love coming here as often as possible! Lomo is amazing, soup is normally pretty good, aji 10/10. I love this place! I am always trying to get people to try this place because it definitely won't dissapoint. The spicy queso sauce is amazing too!
Definitely a local gem. Haven’t had a chance to dine in at this restaurant but every time I order to go the food is wonderful. They give a good portion for the price and the flavors are very excellent!!! If in the area, you must try this place once. I always order the seafood saltado and the spaghetti seafood. Both dishes I highly recommend.
Chicken is amazing. Need to be careful when you place more than one order of lomo saltado out any wokked dish. Because they'll stir fry two or more of the same orders together, they may not portion the dishes out properly. I had this happen on my last visit. One plate had an abundance of meat and fries and the other didn't. At $10 a plate I went and complained and the manager was gracious enough to acknowledge their mistake and prepared me a new dish. So check your order and if you think they've skimped, let them know about it.
I always get the Chaufa de Pollo, and it almost never disappoints. I love Asian fried rice and chaufa is the Peruvian take on Chinese fried rice. The main ingredients are pretty much the same. but the seasoning / sauce is very distinct which gives the dish its delicious flavor. The chaufa at Pollo Inka Express also includes a small container of extra sauce and a cup of equally yummy soup. You have to try it! 🤤
Line is always long inside and drive thru BUT the food is worth it. I recommend the Lomo Saltado it is savory and hearty. For dessert grab the alfajor cookies they melt in your mouth. The service is pleasant!
The food was great! If you're interested is some great chicken with sides, I would definitely recommend this place. The place may look a little messy inside, but the staff is nice and the prices are fair.
I've eaten at the Pollo Inka restaurants before but my first time at this express. The food was excellent all around. I ordered the tallarines saltado with beef, but should have ordered with chicken. The service was also polite and helpful.
Put the Inka on the frying line Pollo Inka Express is the new tenant of the space that was long occupied by Alberto's Mexican Food. Being accustomed to the ripped upholstery, older than dirt arcade machine & the less than clean windows, I was shocked to see the bright & shiny interior of Pollo Inka Express. Having completed a recent shopping trip to the 99 Cent Only Store across the street, I was game to give Pollo Inka Express a try. I knew I had to order the pollo a la brasa & the saltado 1/2 pollo a la brasa (2 sides w/ cilantro soup)- Breast, leg, thigh & wing with my sides being cilantro rice & steamed veggies. The main event? That cilantro rice! Perfectly seasoned with just enough of a kick to please those that prefer spicy food, while not alienating those that like things mild. The chicken was good & tender, but I'd remiss if I didn't say I prefer El Pollo Loco. The steamed veggies, consisting of cauliflower, broccoli, corn, peas & carrots were satisfactory. The cilantro soup, while good, wasn't served piping hot. It was a tad hotter than lukewarm. Bits of chunky chicken, rice and other ingredients were pleasing to the palate, but I would've been more satisfied had the soup been the correct temperature. The 1/2 pollo a la brasa proved quite a hefty meal. Saltado de pollo (w/ white rice & cilantro soup)- Carb city, baby! Forget feeling hungry after a go with stir-fried French fries & rice. Oh, and let's not forget about the thick cuts of chicken interspersed therein. I found the fried chicken much more flavorful then the rotisserie. Next time, I'm going lomo saltado for the win Before you dig in, don't forget the aji (green hot sauce). Put that beezy on everything! It's that good! In addition to pollo a la brasa & the saltados, Pollo Inka Express' menu offers chaufas (fried rice), vainitas (stir fried green beans), tallarines saltados (spaghetti stir fry), salad, sandwiches & salchipapas (fries & hot dogs with ketchup, homemade tartar sauce & spicy mustard). Service was good. The cashier taking my order was friendly & quick with recommendations. Wait time was reasonable, considering how busy the restaurant was, which also has a drive-thru. Ample seating, made up of booths and tables. Parking is in a private lot, which used to be anchored by Walmart Neighborhood Market. I thinka I wanna Inka! Pollo Inka Express will be a busy new eatery in Hawaiian Gardens. The food's great, the prices reasonable & the venue is a lot more welcoming than the predecessor . I know my next visit will have me vanquishing an order of lomo saltado &, perhaps, their chaufas de pollo. Highly recommend! NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM
I've heard about Pollo Inka Express from a friend, so I decided to give it a go. I've always ordered through the drive-thru, so I can't speak for the ambiance or cleanliness of the store. The service is usually quick; however, on this particular visit, the drive-thru took longer than expected. But I can't complain because the food came out piping hot and tasted extra fresh. I've tried the Lomo Saltado and Tallarines Saltados, which are my absolute go-to favorites. Both dishes were flavorful and well-prepared. I also appreciate how they serve Coca-Cola. Additionally, I wanted to try their rotisserie chicken, so I ordered the ¼ chicken, which comes with a leg and thigh.
Great for a quick bite of peruvian food! The aji is pretty good and the pollo a la brasa is a must! It has an authentic peruvian flavor seasoning wise. The Lomo sandwich is also good! Worth the drive whenever I'm in town to get those nostalgic flavors.
Service and customer services lacks just a little but overall is a great experience having my meals here. Love the food but got a little expensive, but worth the bites. Even though their portions have changed a lot as well.
Drive thru available but usually very busy! Good rotisserie chicken meals served Peruvian style. I usually get the ceviche mixto: nice sized chunks of fish and shrimp in a citrus dressing cut, served with very large corn kernels and sweet potatoes. A combo comes with generous amounts of sides: extra charge for fried plantains and cilantro rice. Comes with flavorful aji sauce and cilantro chicken soup. Family meal is enough for 6 adults or more.
Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 3/5 Parking: 3/5 Family friendly: 3/5 Stroller friendly: 4/5 ADA accessible: 4/5 This is my first time at any Pollo Inka Express and I was definitely impressed. I wasn't sure if this was going to be a fair quality food place due to it being a "fast" casual spot. Got the Soltado's lomo and saltado de mariscos. Highly recommend both as flavors were on point and very similar to what I had in Lima, Peru. I think the next time I drop by I will definitely try another Peruvian staple: tallarines verde. The process was quick for ordering and there are plenty of seats. Highly recommend this Pollo Inka Express!
First time at a Pollo Inca Express restaurant. It has a drive thru. My favorite dish is lomo saltado it was okay I had better elsewhere. Tried the fried rice with chicken super delicious. Fried plantains yummy. Soup so good. Fries with hot dogs good. Passion fruit drink good. Customer service could be better. Restroom floors had an oily residue, becareful not to slip.
Ordered the 1/2 chicken combo with 2 sides( fries and house salad). Chicken was delicious with that spicy green sauce, not sure what it is. They gave me a ton of fries. Salad didn't see fresh, ended up throwing it away. Also came with some soup, like a rice porridge had carrots, peas and chicken. I liked it very much.
If you have never tried Peruvian food, this is the place to start, Now open for Dine-in! They specialize in a Peruvian dry rub rotisserie chicken served with your choice of white rice, cilantro lime rice, fries, classic vinaigrette salad, beans Or chicken & rice soup. Available in single meals or family size (great serving sizes in family meals) we tried the Peruvian fish ceviche for the first time and it was great, just note you eat it as an appetizer as it does not come with tostadas or crackers. Dinning room could a deep cleaning but otherwise a great family friendly, express Peruvian establishment.
My favorite Peruvian fast food for Pollo a la brasa. Taste of pollo is good and comes with 2 sides + cilantro soup; you can add cilantro rice for an extra $1.50; portions are big. Price of whole Pollo a la brasa is $17.99. I am giving 4 starts to this place because cilantro soup is always too salty and I it has just very few veggies on it.
First time at this location. They have a drive thru. The food was all right. Their location in Hawthorne has better taste. They don't give bread with your meal like the Hawthorne location. The bread and Aji sauce makes the meal taste much better.
The food was great!! Place is filty they really need to spend time cleaning it and making it a better place. They have used the back portion of the dining area as a storage unit, and you can see it. Block it off so that people don't go sit there. There are also several homeless people in this area. After seeing how filty the place was, I questioned the food. I will not go back.
I've been here several times and the food, though very salty, is quite tasty! However, the service, at least in the drive through, is pretty aweful. Usually it is just really slow for a drive though and if you have cars in front and in back of you, you're stuck waiting. One time I was told they were out of meat at the moment and no alternatives or ideas were offered for what dishes I could order. This time, they cashier took my payment, handed me a receipt, and said, “have a good day" with no indication of if or when she would come back with my food. I've had time to write this whole review while waiting though.
I usually would give them 5 stars. I haven't had my food yet so not even sure how it taste today. The reason for the 3 stars is I sat in the drive thru for more than 10 as usual and out of that I noticed an order ready for about 5 minutes and it was mine. Why have it sit there if I'm at the window.
The food here at Pollo inka , it’s truly delicious, I really enjoyed it last time I had it. The only thing I think it’s absurd, is that if I’m purchasing drive-through food, I expect to have napkins and utensils to be able to eat my food on the way or once I arrive to my destination. I think it’s ridiculous having to ask for these , when it should be mandatory thing to do and Provide these items when I order , to eat the food. I have a long drive and I can’t even eat my food because it was not given. Some of us are busy in the car and are not looking up at signs “asking for utensils”
I went to eat on Sunday and one of the girls at the counter was very friendly, the other didn't give me the time I needed to choose because it was my first time to eat there. I chose a beef and cassava sandwich combo and when I went to pick it up I asked if they were spicy and the other server took a soup from my tray that she said didn't come in the combo, a small soup and she even scared me when she snatched it from my tray. Tasty food, service NO POLITE or frindely.
I really love there lomo saltado but whe I ordered through the drive-thru they got my order wrong. Not sure how mixed up beef with fish 🤔
2nd Pollo Inka express location that we have gone to. Will be the last time at this one in Hawaiian Gardens. Waited over 20 minutes to get a Pollo Saltado and. 1/4 chicken combo plate. 3 customers inside the whole time and more cars at the drive thru. Also, the Pollo Saltado was so little. They need consistency in portions and taste with the other locations...the full restaurant on Hawthorne is very good.
Walked in and out within a few minutes. The place is empty; no one is dining. Bad sign, to me, that the food is not good, especially on a weekend. Didn't bother ordering and staff are impolite, no customer service.
Drive through review: waited for 4O minutes so that I can come home to an incorrect order. I asked for chicken with the green spaghetti plate. she even asked me if I wanted leg and thigh or breast and wing. Of course I said breast. Instead No chicken at all. I don’t live too close and I have things to do so it’s not like I can drive back there quickly
I bought a large soup and lady refuse to give a green sauce saying my large soup and 2L inka cola doesn’t allow a free sauce but instead trying to charge me a 1.00 after I have I already paid. Soup and cola $15. Not a good experience when you’re sick and just want soup. Do better.
I ordered fish fillet and a whole chicken, and both plates didn't have flavor, them was prepared just with a little salt. The green sauce it was good but they should be offer one no spicy.
My worst nightmare, i-ve been here before and enjoyed the food, my second time I invited about 6 more people and ordered 2 of the family meals which were not chesp and the chicken was not cook all the way, so embarrasing. Ate one pince and totally gross me out, I took the rest of the meal and finish cooking it at home. Will not come back for sure. Service was good and the rest of the food was also really good. I give them 3 start on service because they have to make sure meat is crooked all the way.
Food was soggy and the sandwiches would fall apart just by picking it up. The chicken was unseasoned. The rice was hard. Only good thing is the bananas
I ordered my food online and put in my special request for extra salad dressing, so when I get there I asked them if the extra salad dressing was in there, and she said that I didnt request that, and I know I did, and she looks at the order receipt and tells me no I didnt. So I looked at her and said whether I did or not CAN I GET SOME EXTRA SALAD DRESSING! She gives me two little containers and come to find out when I got home she didnt put any salad dressing in my bag at all! If I wouldn't have got those two I would of had nothing! Very rude lady! Ok I'm done venting.
Just came in tonight but left without ordering. The guy told us they were closing in 20 minutes and we couldn’t eat there because he had to mop the floors. Have never heard of anyone turning away business or money. Owner should really reconsider who they hire.
The chicken and rice dish was so, so salty it was difficult to eat. I doctored it with another egg and it was still salty. Don't think I'll try that place again. Disappointed because the original Pollo Inka in Torrance (or thereabouts) was very delicious just too far to go often. They say a lot of salt means happy cooks??? Don't know why they were sooo happy. Next time taste your food before serving.
Never again, it took 40 minutes to get my order but continued to be told in next, to basically learn my food had been given away and had to be started over. I should have just asked for a refund the food was subpar the meat was un-seasoned with the rice being over cooked.
Going to Pollo Inka for so many years as well as always recommending this place to many friends and catering food from here for my daughters birthday which i was happy with actually. I was shocked when i dined in here recently. The teenagers employed here pretty much gave me reasons not to dine here ever again. First off the dining area like tables and chairs are dated and shows bad signs of wear. The restroom fixtures are falling apart and were not stocked properly and cleaned. As a big fan of their soup I ordered an extra one for our the birthday girl who was now coming for her first time. Unfortunately i was forced to wait. So i walked up to the counter to investigate and asked why does it take so long to after i bought an additional soup for my daughter after liking her sip of it. I asked somebody else at the counter and that person right away reached down under the counter to hand me one that were stored all along for fast serving. Sitting close to the counter i soon observed that the person who failed to hand me the soup right away turned out to be an older young male adult who was the person in charge. To me i wondered why he found it okay for me to excessively wait.
Would've given five stars... Loved the food, great service from the cashier that got my order. She even gave me very good menu suggestions. But felt very uncomfortable when I saw who I believe is the supervisor be very rude to the employees. That woman needs to learn some manners and how to be professional. I had to take my good to go. Can't stand people like that. Besides that unfortunate event I had to witness. Food is great.
French fried are dry . the ketchup packets are really cheap brands not tasty ketchup either and certainly not heinz standard kwtchup becuase the chicken is dry as hell. The rice taste nasty white brown fried whatever rice you want taste so dry. French fries taste old and seems like they microwave tgem or thats how they tadte. Nasty chicken soup looks nasty also donesnt look apettizzing.
Picked up my order today. Out of the 4 employees I saw/interacted with, none Yes NOT EVEN ONE of them was wearing their masks properly. They all had the masks hanging below their noses, including the ladies in the kitchen. I love their food but will have to do without it for a while.
Quality went down. I come here every weekend with my family and the chicken is now always dry as well as the fries. Portions have been reduced and prices increased. Customer service also went down hill. At this point El Pollo Loco is better! Giving Peruvians a bad name! 🤦♀️
I ordered pollo saltado. I added the extra chicken. When I got my food it smelled odd. I tried to eat it. However, it was so greasy that it turned my stomach. I pulled the fries out and ate them. I tried to eat the chicken but it was greasy and tasted like old fry grease. I thought I would be getting clean chicken breast but it was all thigh meat, which I don't eat. The onions and tomatoes were so greasy that I could not eat them. There was literally grease pooling in the bottom of the container. I would never order from or attempt to eat here again. Huge waste of money and food.
Family owned all the employees are family so they got that i dont care attitude we dont need ur business attitude small portions and high prices long waits big egos especially the females hahahaha never again
I found the price for the chaufa de mariscos to be too high, especially considering the portion had a large amount of rice and only a small amount of seafood. It felt a bit misleading, as the dish is advertised as chaufa de mariscos, but the seafood was minimal. I believe customers would appreciate a more balanced portion.
