Nice ambiance and clan place to take your family to enjoy delicious and freshly served food with the great selection on the menu. Fast, Exceptional and friendly service and staff treat you like the family. People who are looking for a traditional Indian food and sweets Moon cuisine is the place to go.
I use to buy My Lamb Biryani and among other stuff at Kabila Restaurant, but the recent poor service I had with Kabila had led me to Moon Indian Cuisine. Everything I ordered in Moon Indian Cuisine was Excellent. The Tricky Part was the Lamb Biryani the plastic plate look small but actually has huge generous amounts. Moon Indian Cuisine is my new gem. Goodbye Kabila Restaurant and your poor Customer Service.
Customer service was great. The gentleman was patient to the questions my kids asked regarding what kind of desserts they had on display in front. The food was just as good as my first time having the privilege of trying it at this very same place. The naan is like no other! Iv tried southland malls India food and it was not better then this spot. Over all this will be my forever go to spot as the atmosphere is phenomenal and it’s never crowded but if it was that should tell you something about how good the food and employees treat you!!!!!
They have a covered outdoor patio, which was nice! Got the fish pakoda, bhel puri, and Shahi panner. The green chutney is so good, can I have the recipe? Very fresh! The panner was soft and creamy! Bhel puri was little spicy so if you're spice sensitive order without spice. Service was nothing extraordinary, not rude. Good experience, thanks guys!
This is a hidden gem of an Indian restaurant. A little bit out-of-the-way, but worth your trip. Prices are reasonable, portions are good, all dishes I’ve tried are excellent and authentic to Indian cuisine. I highly recommend the tandoori and chicken tikka masala, of course, reference to photos. The garlic naan bread is also excellent. This place is managed well and clean also.
If you are looking for a phenomenal Indian restaurant that offers delicious food and outstanding service, Moon Indian Restaurant is a must-try! The ambiance is warm and welcoming with a lovely decor that transports you to a world of spices and flavor. The menu offers a wide variety of Indian dishes that are prepared with precision and care. Every item we ordered was fresh, flavorful and cooked to perfection. What made our experience truly exceptional was the exceptional service we received from the staff of Moon Indian Restaurant. The waitstaff was helpful, accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was comfortable and memorable. Overall, we had a fantastic dining experience at Moon Indian Restaurant and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great Indian restaurant. If you're in the area, you must visit and enjoy the delicious food and impeccable service. We can't wait to go back again!
My friend raved about this place, so made her take me while I was driving through. Everything was delicious, even the mango chutney (and I hate mango). Had the veggie samosas, veggie pakoda, aloo saag, and roni. I didn’t think I liked aloo saag, as the other time I had it was underwhelming (from a place in Brooklyn). This was such a pleasant surprise. Can’t say enough good things about this place.
My go to for tikka masala and naan for over 10 years. The elderly man who takes orders over the phone is rude but the food is delicious! No other like it and Ive tried a couple in different states. The food is spicy just fyi even if you ask for less spice. They also have Indian desserts if you go inside. Building is hidden from the main road behind Luckys. Small parking and dated building but the food never disappoints & the price is super affordable
The indoor restaurant has very bad air quality or no air at all. It’s better to order Togo and eat elsewhere. As for food; Chicken Tikka Masala - my favorite. The only Indian restaurant that I know did not have a layer of oil on top of this dish. Came with complimentary Roti. Roti was too chewy for my taste. I prefer Naan. Chicken Biryani - very flavorful and spicy. The only bad thing about this dish is the chicken. Dry and bland. Chicken Tandoori- not bad. Chai tea - complimentary
Giving 3 stars out of courtesy(would rate it 1-2). Food quality was so bad. Biryani didn’t smell/taste fresh, was just masala rice. Ordered a combination veggie plate, and all the sabji were mixed together in one plate. I never eat like that even at home, this is the least of presentation we can expect from any restaurant. Ordered wings, but received sizzlers, that too, the cuts of onion and capsicum were so thick with not so tender chicken. Lastly, for desert, had some chewy gulab jamun. Really bad experience.
Been here a few times. Today a friend wanted to try this place. Good things about this place: 1. Location (don't have to go to Fremont) 2. Tasty food 3. Free chai 4. There's a parking lot 5. Lots of Indians eat here Not so good things about this place: 1. Dirty cups. Had food on them. 2. Not greeting customers 3. Waiters don't look happy - not smiling. 4. Tiny curry portions
Ordered chicken wrap as I have 3 other times before. Today, I was extremely disappointed with ordering the chicken wrap. It had fewer vegetables, and certain parts of the chicken were inedible. The chicken was hard, which it had never been before. Other than that the service was good for pick up order.
We were on way to SF when we stopped here for the lunch, server was friendly but the place was not kept well and looked very unhygienic. We ordered paneer tikka which was ok but too much color in it , Daal makhani which was Infact mixed daal, chilly paneer in which paneer was chewy , garlic naan were good but didn’t taste garlic , their amritsari naan was very good , chai was okay , no masala and lassi was fine but their bhelpuri and green chutney was yummy . Overall food was okay , one time eating nothing special to come back . They had small portions , and prices were reasonable.
Unfortunately we did not find any of the food here to be to our liking. We had them replace one dish which we appreciated, however we were still quite underwhelmed by our meal. We will not be returning.
I recently visited Moon Indian Restaurant, and sadly, my experience was below expectations. The staff was not friendly and repeatedly asked if they could take the menu back, as if they didn’t want us to order. It felt rushed and unwelcoming. I ordered the Malai Chicken, but it was extremely dry and lacked the creamy "malai" texture and flavor it’s supposed to have. The dish was disappointing, and the quality didn’t justify the price. To make matters worse, the owner was sitting at the table next to ours, and despite clearly noticing that there were issues, he didn’t bother to check on us or address any concerns. This lack of attentiveness from the management added to the poor experience. I hope the restaurant improves both the quality of food and customer service. This level of disregard for customers is unacceptable.
Food quality is getting worst. It's not worth it anymore. I already avoid 4 or 5 times, but it's high time to post this review. Food is not fresh at all. Salad was rotten. Paneer is always of bad quality. Tandoori naan and roti was burnt and uneven cooked. I am not their customer anymore. They don't value the customers.
