Gusto Latino Hempstead Reviews
Strawberry and mango margaritas were amazing, stopped for a quick drink, nice atmosphere. Just a little on the more expensive side.
Great food, service, & atmosphere. Make sure to ask for Zulieka & tip her well! 😉👍🏿
The place and the quality of food hasn’t changed a bit , definitely recommended!
So far so good. They are following the regulations on wearing masks and their cleanliness is outstanding. Great atmosphere
IT WAS FANTASTIC THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS AND ENOUGH GREAT PORTIONS WAITRESS AND OWNER VERY PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY TREATED ME LIKE FAMILY VERY NICE PLACE TO UNWIND AFTER A LONG WEEK OF WORK I DEFINITELY ENJOYED MY VISIT I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE
The food is excellent and very tasty. Although most of there dishes are Honduran style, they also have Mexican dishes as well. There is also music, and a walk up bar for drinks.
Really great environment. They are extremely welcoming full of positive energy. Sandwiches there are amazing.
Food was fresh tasting. The skirt steak has always been perfectly cooked. Portions so generous. Arianna is the lovliest server.
My friend and I go there pretty often to hang out. The sangria is tasty and refreshing, the food fresh and delicious. Great staff and atmosphere.
First time there and the food was phenomenal and the environment is awesome sauce there was spanish karoke drinks and laughs great time w great people and the food is inexpensive my new favorite spot
This place was a great find. Food was authentic and fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was really nice and the music was an upbeat blend. The wait staff and owner were all pleasatn and I felt very good about coming there even if there were not so many people there (we went early evening). Everything was clean, the bathrooms, the floor, tables, dancefloor and most important, the silverware, glasses and food was fresh and hot. The meat was tasty. Tacos like never had before...I will dream of them. Looks like a great place to come late night...I spotted the disco ball, dj booth and dance floor. I really liked it here. And it was not expensive at all. My husband reminded me..this is not an American restaurant. The food here is plentiful and cooked for you, not from frozen.
Food was really good , nice place a bit dead good customer service.
It is pricey but worth it because of the taste the service is friendly and after dark it does get lively you would just have to endure karaoke
We ordered on Uber eats the Picada was just a bunch of yuca and the Mexican nachos were soggy. They didn’t put lime on the side for the picada or hot sauce. When my wife arrived there the women behind the counter acted as if she didn’t just walk in over all I would never order from here again!!!
This place used to be special. The old owners would welcome you with a smile and handshake and make you feel welcomed. The new owner is such an arrogant person. He is so rude. He charges people to get in like if it was a club. It's a restaurant/bar!!!! We were just trying to eat dinner. We would understand if there was something going on but just a regular Saturday night ? This place was the best spot on Clinton. So sad to see it go to waste.
This place is ok but there is one person the take care of every customers and that’s not ok for someone to be doing all the job by them self .. they should hire more people and food was late.. it thou and hour and half for the food to get to the table …..
If I can give it zero stars I would …I been ordering my favorite soup for years now (sopa de marisco regular ) and today I didn’t receive what I always buy used to be $21 made with only seafood .. now it’s almost $24 barley had one shrimp a piece of lobster tail and mussels the rest was all vegetables plantains never had vegetables in my soup but they claim always made the same when I always order my favorite soup here .. Manager is very rude didn’t make any adjustments or fixed my order she didn’t care about me as a customer if you love sopa de marisco don’t buy it here it unless you prefer vegetables soup no seafood
This place is absolutely horrible. I ordered off of Uber eats and they only sent one meal... Ok no biggie (mind you it's 3am) so I called the restaurant and the woman hangs up on me. My boyfriend calls back and speaks Spanish to the woman so she can understand and she repeated that there was a problem with his order and hangs up again. Ok now I'm mad, we drive down to Hempstead a 20 minute drive away. The woman that hung up face dropped when we walked through the door (guess she wasn't expecting to see us), thankfully the owner was understanding and refunded us cash. Save yourself the headache!
