Offset Coffee in Hermosa Beach is loved for its delicious lattes (especially vanilla) and friendly, competent staff. The flat white is also a popular choice. Some find the breakfast sandwiches overpriced and the cappuccino inconsistent. Oat/almond milk has an extra charge.

Offset Coffee Hermosa Beach Reviews
I really enjoy the Hermosa Beach Offset location. They have a friendly staff and the outdoor area is nice and quaint. Although the space inside is small and can get crowded it doesn’t take away from the experience in my opinion. I found myself today trying their new seasonal Maple Cinnamon Latte. It was very delicious and my dog and I sat outside to enjoy the wonderful coastal breeze. I find that people often stumble along the location making it difficult to get your order in time but have patience. The neighborhood is dealing with losing 3 Starbucks in the area and tend to not do well with change (creatures of habits 🧟♀️). Beside this pain of slow people. The coffee is great, the staff is great, and the bench’s outside make it quite comfortable to sit and do a quick tech detox for a moment. If not, walk down to the pier it’s only like 2 minutes down the street. Hope this helps!
Found this wonderful local coffee chain, at their El Segundo location a while back. Was in this area and knew I had to go in and try this one out. Just as good, I'm happy to say! Delicious latte , very creamy and rich !
The BEST vanilla latte I’ve ever had - they use a real paste instead of syrup and it is phenomenal. Got it iced and even after all the ice melts, the latte is still delicious. Had the spinach biscuit too which was great - very buttery and soft biscuit!

If you’re a coffee snob like me, the coffee at offset is some of the best. I know if I want a perfect flat white they will deliver - thank you Lucy & Alexis for the amazing coffee always!! :)
Well pulled espresso- good balance in the shots; beans are a medium roast. Cutely decorated for Christmas. Small seating area.
The coffee (Latte, Mocha Latte and Vanilla Latte) are DELICIOUS- smooth- creamy- not harsh and the employees are first rate - friendly- competent- and easy to talk to - ENJOY 😊
Our go-to cafe in Hermosa. Really good coffee ☕️. Friendly staff - who know their stuff. Try the citrus-olive oil muffin: Delicious!
Super helpful staff. My order is a bit unusual (1/4 caff latte - with 1/4 espresso and 3/4 decaf). I can’t have too much caffeine because of my migraines. They made it work without complaint.
I love this coffee and come for it on weekend❤️ I prefer their flat white more than other coffee shops’. Breakfast sandwiches are not worth their price though. You may find a better breakfast somewhere else.
I think this is the best coffee in the area. I can't say anything about the food or other beverages - have gotten a latte, cortado, and flat white here.
They roast the coffee there. It is above average. I’ve been to their Inglewood location on that stretch of Sepulveda, and the tiny one at the 300 block of Pier Ave. in Hermosa.

Offset coffee charges .75 if you want to add oat milk or almond milk to your coffee. Not happy about that.

cool spot for coffee versus the other location!
Ok barista - not great though: "what are the tasting notes?"... "All our espressos taste the same nutty, fruity, medium acidity" ... That as a comment for a roster?. Not impressed. But ok for an ok coffee. There is only one choice of espresso beans. They have almond milk
The strawberry matcha einspanner was not good, I hate to say it. For $7, it’s best to go somewhere else. I have no recs in manhattan beach but I definitely don’t recommend this place. The matcha was a 2/10, the einspanner cream tasted like white syrup and there was no strawberry flavor. The coffee was also mid. The people were nice tho!
Not impressed by cappuccino. Burnt espresso taste and overheated milk. I’d expect more from a coffee shop that cares. This is actually what it looked like when she handed it to me.

Seems to me to be another small formulaic counter-serve coffee place with a standard menu, minimalist interior, a trite attempt at playful art with the logo, and a pay and leave vibe. I'm not sure what they're offering that doesn't already exist in a crowded market of "high quality" coffee. Their marketing claims: "NOT YOUR TYPICAL, RUN-OF-THE-MILL CAFE. We aim to create memorable experiences through bespoke and innovative coffee products. Offset Coffee strives to be more than just your typical cafe. Instead, we aspire for excellence and to become a safe space for community members."

Nice coffee, decent avo toast but destroyed by the fact they serve everything in cardboard, even though they have tables and chairs. No cutlery or crockery. Every cup comes with a plastic throwaway lid used for literally less than a minute. Plus it’s a fact that coffee tastes worse in cardboard. And it doesn’t have the same ambiance of sipping from a cup or glass. Don’t bother unless you’re local and can bring your own mug.
Flat white tastes like hot milk, tried twice both times coffee was pretty bad
Cappuccino was bad. Service could have been more inviting. Vibe is cool.

Disappointing. I walked in, noticed it changed to an offset, used to be a two guns. I said as much aloud, no one in line, got a deep eye roll from the staff. Started making my order, ask what kind of milk they had. Same snippy attitude points where it is on the sign and in the most 3rd grade teacher voice possible. Sorry mam, haven’t been in here since it changed to offset. I used to frequent their Crenshaw location too and was actually looking forward. Decided her attitude wasnt worth the inferior milk selection. Will still go to Crenshaw, but won’t be buying $8 lattes from someone with contempt for basic transactional conversation.
