¡Espectacularmente rico!
We were there last month; it's a lovely place with exquisite food. We arrived a little late for lunch, but the service was still excellent and there were no complaints. The bartender was also incredibly friendly. Highly recommended!
It was our first time there and I was pleasantly surprised. A beautiful, elegant place with a bar, which is exactly what we usually look for: somewhere to have a drink and an appetizer, not a full-fledged restaurant that forces us to eat. We sat at the bar because it was so busy and there was hardly any room. We had a nice wine and some appetizers. Initially, we hadn't planned on eating there, but sometimes things turn out better without planning. We glanced at the menu and liked what we saw. Across from where we were sitting, they have a semi-open kitchen with large windows where you can watch the chefs preparing grilled meats and other dishes. Everything was spotless, and they also have display cases so you can see the fresh fish and seafood, of course. They have traditional, time-honored dishes that reminded me of my grandmother's or mother's cooking, slow-cooked with love, as well as traditional and modern cuisine. We had a variety of croquettes, and they melted in our mouths—the best croquettes I've ever had, even better than my great-aunt and mother's. Then we ordered a potato omelet with truffle, which was truly spectacular. It was slightly runny, juicy, and bursting with truffle flavor. I expected it to be much smaller, but it was quite large, perfect for four people. Although there were only two of us, we didn't finish it, but I couldn't stop eating. To top it all off, we had dessert and coffee. For dessert, we had a brioche French toast with ice cream—the best I've had in a long time, and it was served warm. We were full, but we wanted to try the desserts. I only took one photo, and we'd already started eating. The food isn't cheap, but I have to admit that the quality, the excellent preparation, and the attentive service more than justify the price. Some places have exorbitant prices and try to sell you on the idea of quality and good service, only to be disappointed because they claim everything is homemade when half of it is processed. These places certainly aren't. We'll definitely be back to try other dishes. Highly recommended, although it's best to reserve a table just in case.
Sublime
Always a place where my girlfriend and I are super warmly welcomed. We sat at the bar and it was a true experience. Everyone who served us was very friendly. Shout out to Sebastián, a true professional. The oysters we ate were delicious. What a special place! Shout out to the owners, who always greeted us with kindness.
We've been going for a long time; it's an amazing place. The quality of the food, the off-menu specials, the excellent service—with the recent renovation, everything is impeccable. The appetizers, starters, first courses, and main courses are all fantastic. We shared everything. The eggs with carabineros prawns were simply divine, the steak was cooked to perfection, the grilled scallops were delicious, and the best dish was the oxtail—so tender and juicy, with all the collagen. A 1000% recommended spot.
A lovely family, they run the business with great care, always attentive to their customers. It's a real treat to stop by for lunch, dinner, or just a beer; they have a spectacular wine cellar... and top-quality ingredients. I recommend everything on the menu, because it's all exquisite.
Without a doubt, one of my favorites in the Madrid mountains. Excellent food, a variety of dishes, excellent presentation, friendly service, and great value. After the renovation and expansion, everything looks beautiful, modern, and welcoming. The service was very attentive and friendly. A great place! Congratulations!
The reopening of Albero was worth the wait. The food is still top-notch. I like to be surprised by the off-menu items. Everything is original with traditional, high-quality products, to enjoy. And now with the renovation and expansion, the kitchen and dining room are spectacular. The service, as always, is utterly dedicated to ensuring you enjoyment, and the wines—whoever has been there knows it's hard not to find one you like. It's well worth a visit and checking it out, but always with a reservation, which can also be made online.
Recently redone the place is great for dinner. If you want a table during the summer in the evening you need to reserve ahead of time. They have a very good selection of by the glass Spanish wines and a good selection of typical Spanish shareable dishes with their own twist.
Very good tapas, cool sidra machine to pour your own sidra, excellent service and tasty complimentary dishes.
General
Dinner with friends in December. The food was very good quality and the waitresses were attentive and professional. Everything we ordered was delicious: the octopus was a 10/10, the sweetbreads were incredible, and the meat was spectacular! However, I'm not giving it 5 stars because we were cold during dinner (either there was no heating or it was very low). That's my only complaint. The price of some dishes was a bit high.
It had been recommended to us, and it didn't disappoint. Everything was great. The staff was attentive. The food was quality and the price was good. They were attentive both at the beginning of the meal (appetizers) and at the end (sweets, shots). The overall rating, rather than a 5, is due to a minor detail (which also occurs in many quality restaurants) regarding the grilled dishes, especially if they're ordered medium rare... they quickly get cold.
The restaurant is located in the town of Becerril. You can enjoy your meal both inside and on the terrace. The restaurant has a regular dining room on the upper floor, and downstairs there's a bar and high tables for enjoying the food or having snacks. We've eaten here many times, but I have to say the last time the service was disappointing. Upon arriving at the restaurant, the smoke from the grill was visible and reached the top of the dining room. When we finished eating and went outside, our clothes smelled of the grill worthy of a tavern. First of all, I must emphasize that the food is excellent, but the service is terrible. It always takes a while to serve, but they make up for it with various appetizers: empanada, Parmesan cheese pieces with fuet, and a plate of olives and capers. Yesterday, upon arrival, they gave us an appetizer, a small slice of empanada for four. We sat down at 2:30 p.m. They didn't come to take our food order until 3:17 p.m. Only one waiter serves the 12 tables upstairs. He serves you drinks and a few other dishes; the rest comes from the first floor, but the service is handled by a single waiter. It's unpleasant that the person taking your order seems like they've just finished a marathon. From the starters to the main course, it took about 25 minutes. The beef tenderloin arrived, and when we'd already eaten half of it, the potatoes and peppers arrived. The meat is delicious. The homemade desserts are very good: the cheesecake, the thin apple tart, and the carrot cake are exquisite. Sweets and pastries are nice in the cafe. A free shot is also welcome. The food is incredible, the atmosphere is overly stuffy, and the service is terrible.
