Greco's Pizza Hollywood Reviews
I spent about 30 minutes in here. The pizza tasted great and the size of the slice made the experience worth the money. The pizza slice were HUGE(Although thin, but it’s New York style pizza). The employees were great. The next time I’m in Cali, I won’t hesitage to stop by.
Wonderful pizza. Great staff too.
Fun for kids. Vintage Hollywood cool place to sit quietly with family. real tasty big slices.
Such a great place with awesome service! If you’re looking for a New York slice in Hollywood, check this place out! Thanks for a great experience guys!
Great tasting, thin crust, giant pizza pie slices, about 14 x 10 inches. A cheese slice is $8 with $1 for each additional topping. I had pineapple and anchovy. Crust is crisp and flavorful. No great cheese, very flavorful. I eat a lot and this poetion was perfect. Nice location on Hollywood Boulevard. Workers are welcoming, friendly. Pizza slices are great. Clean, enjoyable, old style tables with bar stools and tables. Worth the stop for travelers with children or locals for a quick slice. Quality 10/10 portion size 10/10 Price 10/10.
This is about as close as you are going to get, enjoying a new york slice. Bring you're appetite, these slices are GINORMOUS! Staff is polite and welcoming, clean environment and great food enjoy.

People make it awkward staring at anybody show up this is not for the workers but regular people eating… didn’t your parents teach you not to stare?.. other then that pizza is good
So good. They make the pizza pie in front of you. The pizza, thin crust and great flavor in the sauce. I feel like a 8 year old Jersey boy again.
Never get to eat out good food that doesn't make my stomach hurt. But the pies here are healthy...lol yes I took advantage and over ate. WITH NO STOMACH ISSUE BUT BEING FULL!
Picked up a classic cheese slice in downtown LA and it hit the spot. The slice is huge, soft in the middle and slightly crisp at the edges, just like a proper New York-style pizza. Good balance between sauce and cheese, with a flavor that stays simple and satisfying. Great option if you need something quick while walking around downtown. Service is fast and the slice travels well in the box. A solid stop for an easy, no-frills NY slice.
Nice place to stop for a quick slice of pizza that’s worth the price. Got the combo for a slice of pizza with a drink and it was a hugs slice that was filling! Worth it! Interior is a bit outdated but has the charm of classic Hollywood. Friendly staff too!
If you get hungry while walking along Hollywood Boulevard, I recommend stopping in here and having a slice of pizza. A big one. The interior of the establishment is decorated with photos of Hollywood's golden age stars.
Delicious New York thin crust pizza. You get a giant slice. Ordered a pepperoni slice for $10. A plain cheese slice is $9. It is filling and good but just a little pricey.
It's pretty good. Better than chain restaurant pizza. Not quite authentic NY style pizza but a close approximation. Slices are gigantic, one is enough for anyone.
You pick your slice and they will slide it in the oven. The pizza could have used a bit more sauce. I was satisfied for the time being.
Look and feels a bit old fashion IN A GOOD WAY. We stopped here for a quick bite with my friends and large pizza 🍕 + 4 drinks for under $50 is a good price 👍🇺🇸

If you’re dying like I was- hungover and low on blood sugar you can stop here. It’s okay, reminded me of a hot pocket. The size is huge and so are the prices ! A bottle of water 5$, slice of pepperoni and cheese 9$ o_o beggars can’t be choosers

Huge expensive slices that are not great but good enough with red pepper added. Clean bathroom and we were able to watch the final quarter of a football game while we relaxed. Hollywood Blvd is a grimy, smelly place so a "clean" place serving boiling hot pizza with bathrooms is no small find!
I got a large slice of "NY" style pep, save ur money, this is not it. Same slice should be 2.50 with that no flavor havin @ slice.
They have nice sized pizza it tastes under cooked great location has a family owned vibe
It’s okay. The fountain soda machine flavoring needed to be serviced… it was basically sparkling water with a hint of flavor. The pizza crust is crispy, but I felt the pizza lacked flavor. The service was friendly, and the seating area was decent. Everything was overpriced, but that is to be expected on Hollywood Blvd.
Not sure it’s exactly NY pizza, but a good thin crust pizza. Call me nostalgic, but I come here when in the area…used to come with my dad and uncle and always had a good slice of pizza and a drink. Staff are always polite and friendly in spite of this being a pretty busy spot.
As a New Yorker, I certify that this is not a New York style pizza. We had lunch here because we needed to use their bathroom, which was at a corner of their disorganized kitchen. The pizza looked ok but the quality was average.

The service (employees) are uninspired and incredibly dull. Although the slice is humongous, the pizza is recognizably terrible and not fresh at all. The marinara sauce tastes like armpits, the cheese is cheap, you need to at least 3 napkins to clean off any excess grease, and the dough is undercooked. And to top is all off, you have low variety of drinks to wash off the taste. I couldn't finish the pizza.
I walked in after work looking for a good pizza spot and decided to order a slice of Hawaiian and I was so incredibly disappointed I payed 10 dollars for a reheated slice of pizza that tasted HORRIBLE the ham tasted like it was straight out of the trash and the cheese and sauce made me feel sick I urge you to go ANYWHERE but here I would never come again and if I did it was because the people were nice but the food was god awful.
Not great. Too little sauce, too little cheese. Pizza was hard.
Pizza was actually pretty good, and enormous slices. But the price is exorbitant ($20+ for two slices!!!) and they were super cheap with the toppings. I get they can charge a premium for the location, but even in Times Square NYC you can still get a $1 slice -- and with more than 7 pieces of pepperoni!
Cost me 22 dollars for TWO slices of pizza. Granted they where large slices but definitely not worth 22 dollars. And I found the pizza to be lack luster for that price point. Dough was not great quality, gave me somewhere between frozen pizza and chucky cheese. Giving it 2 stars only because it did have a very new york pizza vibe just with lousy pizza. I'm from the East coast and the pizza was no where near what I'm use to.
I went here for the first time today (08/22/2017). The pizza smelled pretty good from the street so it attracted me. We ordered three plain slices and a bottle of water to go. It costed us about $21. Very expensive but the slices were pretty large. They gave us the slices fresh out of the oven very quickly. The pizza crust was very thick and doughy. I will say the pizza smelled better than it tasted.
I'm not sure if this is normal in the States, this New York style of pizza, better at Costco. If it wasn't raining we wouldn't of stopped here.
I really didn’t want to write this as, I hardly ever write reviews but after putting a lot of thought into this, I thought people needed to know so that customers don’t overpay for below the average pizza with cheap ingredients. I don’t want anyone to do that. So, I was working all day and didn’t eat. I was craving NY style pizza near me and found this place. The workers were nice, it was a quick interaction so not judging the place or workers this is solely about the taste of the pizza. I paid a bit over $30 got home and opened it, it had a very weak smell, u could hardly smell the pizza if you’ve had amazing NY pizza or great pizza you will understand. The onions were not well cooked, the pizza lacked flavor, tomato paste no flavor or hardly any sauce and the dough felt I was eating like just plain bread no flavor as well and didn’t feel like pizza dough. Not enough topping, the slices of pepperoni were very thin and didn’t taste good, never tasted pepperoni like that. It really didn’t taste like pizza, I had to put some salt and lots of red pepper to give it some flavor. Kind of dry as well. So, disappointing. It tasted like cafeteria fast pizza but very overpriced. I know this is not NY or Italy but I’ve had better in LA but if you want to call it NY pizza and charge those prices at least make it taste good!

10$ a slice for a pizza that tastes terrible. As a NYer this is a sham. I spoke to guy making it. Seemed like a good guy. But that pizza was so shameful. I'm upset I paid money for this. Go somewhere else

DISGUSTING!!! ROACH found in my Greek salad. MY WIFE AND I stopped in here last week during a visit to Hollywood. We wanted something quick before heading back to the hotel, so we ordered a medium pizza, Greek salad, and garlic bread for $62!! First off, the workers there were super rude and barely spoke English. We got the pizza and sides back to the Loew’s hotel and started eating it. We ate the pizza first which had no flavor and wasn’t good. Then we ate the garlic bread which was a tiny piece which was stated as 3 pieces but was a tiny single slice cut into 3 pieces. THEN, we started eating the Greek salad. After a couple of bites I put my fork in what I thought was an olive and turned out to be a DEAD ROACH!! My wife and I were so upset and spent 10 minutes dry heaving and throwing up in the bathroom. I wish I would have taken a picture, but in the moment we couldn’t even look at the food without feeling extremely sick and throwing up. The health department should investigate this location and shut them down. I wouldn’t recommend ANYONE eat at this disgusting pizza joint. If I could give them less than one stars, I would.
Was walking around for a good place to eat and thought this seemed good. Upon the first step, I got to see the pizza (looked mid) and I was just about to order when I noticed several flies landing on the pizza which was being served by the slice, which was what I was about to order. Couldn't even give the place a chance knowing how poorly hygiene is handled here.
WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! $26 for two slices and a medium drink. I mean I know it’s Hollywood but come on! And the pizza isn’t even worth it, bland and flavorless. Definitely not worth it.
Very rude person at the billing. Extra charges for everything you do there. 5 dollar for dining in there. Service charge 3.5% for paying using card. Charge for plate, cup, everything. Don't recommend
This pizza is not good. It tasted similar to a frozen pizza. There was almost no cheese and it surely didn't taste like mozzarella. They over charged me and they got defensive when I asked but he gave me the overcharged amount back. It's probably good at 1am when you need drunk people food.
Ugly restaurant and even worse pizza. First off, the serving sizes are gigantic (as shown in the picture), which was a surprise. You should not have to use a fork and knife to eat a pizza. The pizza itself was beyond mediocre. I literally cannot say anything nice about it. Taking a bite, it is basically wet dough and greasy cheese. You can barely taste the pizza sauce. The dough and crust aren't toasted. The pepperonis were clearly just slapped on top.

Maybe the worst customer service move I've ever seen. I saw a guy taking a picture of one of the big pieces in the window clearly there for display to be seen. The guy working the window who "might" be one of the three founding brothers immediately became my rate and told the man to stop filming. It's Hollywood California, huge tourist area pizzeria has a sign that says proudly serving Hollywood since 1979. Yet... You better not photograph their pizza? Not only was this man obnoxious (clearly won't get my business) but he then picked up his cell phone and started filming the man that he was telling to stop filming. Ridiculous!
