This is my second time here. I came here on a whim while getting my cleaned next door. I ordered the chicken breast meal and an iced T. It was fantastic. I dont eat tostadas but if I did, these looked good. I came back and ordered the same meal but substuted the a small salad instead of the tostadas. The chicken is season so well that you don't have to put anything on it. Best pounded chicken breast I have had. All the ingredients are fresh and even the iced tea is fantastic. I don't speak Spanish and my fantastic waitress, Gabriella didn't speak English but with the help of a very nice employee, Juan, we got the order done! I would highly recommend this place. They also have a variety of wines if you are into that. The menu has many items but the chicken is my go to. 5 plus stars on service, atmosphere, food and drinks. Its also super clean. Enjoy!

Cozy place and amazing and fresh Peruvian food! We ordered the pollo a la brasa, so good! arroz Chaufa especial, plátanos maduros and delicious dessert maracuyá mousse and flan, so good! The staff is friendly and especially Cecilia. This is our go to place in the area for delicious Peruvian at a good price! I recommend.

This restaurant has to be on your list of top 5 Peruvian restaurants in South Florida. The skirt steak with rocoto mashed potatoes is from another world, their ají sauces are incredible and their ceviche is one of the best in town. Juan Bautista was our server and I want to give him a 5 star rating for the amazing customer service provided. I highly recommend it.

Yes, the food is absolutely amazing.. BUT, Juan Bautista is such a legend!! This man always provides first class service in first class way. We've been coming here for years. The food is fresh and it's great. The lomo saltado with tallarines en huacaina sauce, the steak, yuca rellena de queso so many options - all good.

Peruvian customers have high expectations in reference of the quality of the food. As a Peruvian I can say that this restaurant meets the expectations. We ordered pollo a la brasa and the flavors of the chicken transported me to Peru. The sauces added to the fries were an explosion of flavors in the mouth. Absolutely delicious. I have to add that Renzo y Juan Bautista our servers provided a 1st class service. They were very attentive to our needs as well as the staff. We love the location and ambience. It won't be necessary to drive to Aventura to Pollos y Jarras anymore.

Great food and excellent service. Not a place to go in a rush. Take your time to enjoy several delicious plates. We order the classic and the shrimp ceviches, both were espectacular. The fried calamari is truly crispy and then we ordered the chaufas, stake, shrimp and the special one, all wonderful and more than plentiful, we even took some to go. The Tres leches and the Maracuya mousse were to die for. Finally Juan (el maracucho) and Martin were great hosts! Definitely a place to keep going

Excellent service, they are experts in ceviche and Peruvian food, a very good service from the waiter Cristian. I went on the recommendation of a friend and he told me to try the arroz chaufa, typical of Peru. I was delighted and it is super delicious, the Peruvian cuisine is one of the best and not to mention the customer service, it is excellent, a boy named Cristian attended us and we were pleased with his attention.

Food is great, portions are generous, and their service is excellent. Dry chicken and dull flavor is my complain about a lot of other chicken places. That is NOT the case here. Their rotisserie chicken is always juicy and seasoned right. If you are not in a chicken mood, then you opt for one of the other delicious Peruvian cuisine options in their menu. So far, everything I have tried has been satisfying. They get extra credit for food presentation. You also gotta love the bread appetizer they give you - always fresh off the oven. Definitely recommend this place.

This establishment was a recommendation from a friend. My family and I really enjoyed the food and the friendly service. We had Ceviche Mixto and Chaufa. The portions are just right and the wait time was minimal upon ordering. We've gone twice in the last month and I'm eager to go again and try other items on the menu.

My Family ( 30 in total ) treated me to a surprise birthday party here, and it was Awesome. Today was not the day for a visit. The serving staff was fine. My mom and I stopped in for lunch. We both ordered rotisserie chicken. I order sweet potato and she had a baked potato. Both of our potatoes are were cold. As cold as the water with ice. The chicken tasted like a warmed up day old publix chicken. I ordered a passion fruit juice which was delicious. I am certain there was something off for today and I am willing to try again. However, Saturday Oct 28 lunch time was not enjoyable.

Gabriela was our sever, an excellent one. She was always asking if we needed anything else. The restaurant has nice decor, clean the food very very tasty. The only drawback was the prices, a bit high end.

Food was good, not great. The food is pricey given the smaller portions. The service was plain, average and not remarkable. It was bad either. Just plain. Unfortunately they add an 18% tip to the bill which doesn't promote a sense or need for better service. We will probably not return because there are many other options that provide a better quality and service for the price.

The service is great! I've eaten here twice. The first time I ate here, I ordered the skirt steak. I ordered it medium, but it was well done when I got it. I did not send it back. Therefore, I'm not ordering steak here again. The grilled chicken was good, which I ordered on my second visit. If I come here again, I'll stick with the grilled chicken. The fried rice is also very good!

The chicken was not well cooked, so I couldn't eat it completely. The service was good but when I mentioned about the raw chicken they didn't tell me they will give me another one well done. El pollo estaba crudo y no me lo pude comer bien. Me lleve el resto del pollo sin tocarlo para cocinarlo en la casa.

We ordered a ceviche,lomo saltado, and shrimp chaufa, everything was delicious but the service was terrible. We were not greeted, we sat ourselves and must have waited over ten minutes for Juan G. to serve us. He was not friendly or attentive.

Empty restaurant on a Friday night but I still went In. Empty but still had 1/3 of the tables dirty. Everything took so long, do get meus, to get water, to order , to get more water,. Not nice, not friendly, order came out wrong but we did not complain. Honestly the food was great , everything else sucked. And at the end they added a 20% tip even though we were only 5 people.

We were at Publix and decided to try it out since it was next door. Food was good but service was terrible. We were the only table at the place with two serves on duty, they only approached our table twice, once to take our order and once to deliver our order. We had to yell across the restaurant to grab their attention and get our bill. We had the credit card ready for them upon check delivery but the server was too distracted by conversation to grab it. Time passed by and no one came to get it so we finally decided to leave cash - leaving behind a larger tip than they deserved - instead of having to deal with their indifference any longer. We could’ve left without paying because even as we walked away from our table towards the door no one even bothered to say goodbye or thank you. Will not recommend for even a ‘decent’ dining experience.

Restaurant closing for good March 31. Not a day too soon. We went there at least once a week for years and saw the food quality deteriorate badly in the past year. Instead of maintaining an excellent kitchen, which is, after all, why customers go to a restaurant, the food became almost inedible at times. Sorry to see Juan and Bruno lose their jobs, but the owners I have no sympathy for.

I ordered the classic ceviche with the wontons. The classic ceviche was phenomenal, awesome, delicious. The wontons we're awful because the filling was the size of a pea & I found a hair in the box. I shave my head so it wasn't me.8

Hello Thursday March 30 I ordered a whole chicken with fries and salad. My family ate but when I got home to eat my food the chicken had a smell and I started looking and the chicken was between pink and brown my wife told me she had stomach ache right after eating the food and my daughter also ate that. tbh idk what type of standard you guys having to cook chicken this looks like it was there sitting and you guys just reheated and you charge me already. Is a shame cookers think they can do whatever but I’m complaining because I know this is against customers health. Come on.

Came by for dinner on a Tuesday night with my husband and two kids. We were the only people at the restaurant, it was about 7:40ish. We order the Jalea and whole chicken meal with rice and fries. The service was quick initially, The food came out within good timing. However the food was terrible, for a Peruvian restaurant the Jalea was bland and lacked even salt. I had a couple calamari pieces that were fishy and rubbery. I asked the server for a sauce or hot sauce to dip the fried seafood in to help digest it. He looked puzzled and then said oh tartar sauce, then I asked for picante which is very common in alll Peruvian cuisine the rotisserie chicken came out nicely cut with white rice and fries. The favors weren't bad but it was dry and I was eating the leg, and the fries were so sad, they served crinkle fries like the ones you buy from the frozen section at Publix. We don't live in the area and had come here before when they first open up around 2018ish maybe 2019. I remember the food was tasty and fresh. Back to the dinner, I tried my best to eat the dry, bland flavorless food, I was never offer more water an sat there with an empty cup. I server never came back to check on us despite being his only table. We even had to ask for ketchup for the kids. Overall I paid $74.93 and for the two dishes one inka cola and a lemonade. The food and server lacks quality . The server then came up with his machine to ask how much tip was I leaving!! So I left 18% because it was the lowest of three options. Regardless of bad service I would still tip. Tip was $10.68. There are so many better options for this price point!! Don't be fooled like we were by the "great" reviews below, prob from friends and family from the Sir Ceviche brand which actually has good food. But pollos y parrillas is a flop😕

Bad experience Server had no idea on customer services, food was late, while my husband was served his food and finished eating my father got his food. I was patiently waiting for mine and when I finally got my food WRONG order. I have to wait even more and when I finally finally got it, my food was very spicy (We clarify from the beginning we don’t eat spicy food). The saddest part we had to complain and ask not to be charge that plate. Nobody came to us before to manage things. Invest in a good manager or this place won’t survive. We all know this type of things happen in a restaurant but you need someone there trying to make things right for your customers. I’m a local and it’s sad to delete a 5 starts review and decide no to come back.

Please be very careful when eating this uncooked chicken you can get sick. Can’t believe this restaurant keeps selling uncooked chicken. My family stopped going to this place for the same reason, wanted to give it another chance but nothing has improved. Someone needs to pay more attention. You can get Salmonella from uncooked poultry.

It was very kind of the server to refrigerate the cupcakes that we brought for the Father's Day family celebration that had been planned. I truly regret having eaten anything other than the bread. Since somebody in the family had selected it as her favorite restaurant we were stuck with looking at a menu that had absolutely nothing that interested us other than the steamed dumplings which turned out they did not have. We ordered grilled fish in hopes that it would be healthy and clean and I am now on day 2 of a mild bout of food poisoning and regretting that I ever walked in that place. It is very clean and the staff is quite attentive but it was difficult to understand them partially because everybody wore a mask and the other part is the language barrier. Good luck with your business but I will never be returning. I ended up at an urgent care for treatment since I couldn't eat and the food poisoning transitioned into acid reflux, which has RUINED EVERY MOMENT FOR OVER A WEEK AND STILL CONTINUES TO. What the hell? Dreadful times a billion.

I went to this place with my family a few weeks ago. The food was great as well as the place, but I ended paying an extra $30 of tip because they never mentioned that a 20 % tip was already included in the bill. I normally notice these things, but the initial bill was super hard to read (printed with very low ink), the waiter never told me, and he didn’t give time to even calculate because he was right next to me with this portable device where you introduce the credit card and select the tip that I didn’t know already had 20% tip charged (the options I remember in the device were 18%, 22%, custom). I ended paying like 44% of tip. Another weird and unusual thing I ignored at that moment was that the waiter never gave me a receipt, something that customers should not even ask. I had so many doubts about it so when I came home I calculated everything and also check other reviews that confirmed the 20% auto tip. It is really a shame because I really liked the place and the food, but I don’t like to be scammed. I will never go again!

Came into this restaurant with high hopes since we visited Sr. Ceviche on university on several occasions and heard it has the same owner. Service was ok, they really need to step up their game. The food was edible, nothing wowed me. My daughters beans was served cold from the fridge (something they should’ve noticed just by holding it). Last but not least the waitress tried so hard to tell us to leave a tip. We always leave tips when we eat out but for someone to be all in our face about it is unacceptable. I would definitely NOT recommend this restaurant. Señor Ceviche on university is a million times better in flavor of food, quality and service!

Unfortunately, we had a lot of issues with this place. First off, soda was over $2.50. PER CAN. Secondly, though the appetizer was very tasty, $11 for what amounted to about 15 pieces of fried calamari was rather expensive... and it took over half an hour to get to the table. 2 other tables which came in after us had their main courses before we got our appetizer. After an hour and still no food, we paid for the appetizer and left. $18 for an appetizer and 2 sodas was rediculous. The worst part was, we got horrible service for the worst possible reason: I was white. As the only white person in the place, it wasn't hard to figure out why the service was horrible.

I'm not really a picky eater but today I just wanted grilled chicken breast with vegetables and mashed potatoes. They said I could not get those sides if I ordered chicken but if I ordered a steak than I can get those sides. I did not want a steak, I wanted chicken. Its amazing to me that this resteraunt could not honor a simple request so we left. I felt like it was very low class service. I was also going to order food for our 3 teens at home too but never got the chance either. They lost out on big spenders and a great tip. Very sad for them.

I'm only giving it a star, because the server handled the situation correctly by not charging my plate, but I'm disappointed with today's lunch. The chaufa rice tasted bland. My chicken breast was raw and rubbery. The sweet potatoes were cooked outside and raw inside. There was no way I wanted them to try to recook what was cooked outside and raw inside. They need a better food quality inspection process. Not returning. Very pricey for the bad quality of food.
