My family loves the Birmingham Alabama location in the cute shopping district of Homewood. We make a point to eat at Roly Poly whenever we are out in that area. They serve fresh high quality food that meets the needs of both the meat eater and vegetarians in our family. Service is fast and served up by friendly polite employees. Really good food would 100% recommend! Not much parking on the weekends but weather is nice to walk about a block or so and they get pretty busy so you may have a small wait but your wait will be worth it because the food is great!

I hate that we're down to just the one in Homewood. I remember the one in Hoover, downtown, and the one near Vulcan. My favorite roly polies are the ones they have around the holidays. I always try to get everyone on board in my company to order from here. I don't have to push hard. Great food and great folks!

Roly Poly is sensational! Absolutely bomb sandwiches for a great price. They have a large, customizable menu so you can't really go wrong. Located in a cute area with lots to do. We also had a lovely conversation with the owner and his wife! Hot Pressed Chipotle Chicken w/ Ranch: 10/10 Cold Rolled Thai Hot Tuna w/ Spicy Thai Sauce: 10/10 Parking: Should be able to find street parking within a 5 minute walk of the restaurant!

Gotten to-go a few times... loved the food and service each time. The location and area makes it insane around lunchtime so prepare for that. Staff is so polite and friendly. Veggie hot sandwiches 🥪 AMAZING also love to build my own salad. Beware of the fresh cookies, you will get them every time!!!

This is the last Roly Poly remaining in Alabama and so a treasure for the Birmingham area! We love all of their rolled sandwiches and the yummy seasonal soups they offer! The owner/manager is very friendly and focused on his customers which makes it even more of a special place.

I ordered the #72 Buffalo wrap as it comes. It was ok. The Buffalo sauce was spicy like the Buffalo I’m use to and the tomatoes made it very watery. The crunch on the wrap was amazing! It was pressed to perfection. I’ll give it another try one day.

It's been a while since I had these. I remember moving to Alabama and looking for a (ovo-lacto) vegetarian lunch. The french twist never disappointed. The Homewood location feels less corporate and more local and the service is genuinely friendly.

I’ve been inside of this store twice. Both times not good. The lady who runs the front counter just stands in the cooks face and talks as the orders pile up… She was rude to me both times and acted really bothered by taking my order. Never a “thank you” or anything… Just calls the name of the order and cuts her eyes away. She is letting you know that she is unbothered. I’ve never understood someone acting like this in a business?? So easy to be nice.
