First time trying Social Taco and it did not disappoint! We got some margaritas, the guacamole appetizer, shrimp tacos, asada taco, and asada torta. They were all amazing. Coy was our server, and he was very attentive and helpful. Can’t wait to go back! We didn’t take any food pics, but they have a cute picture spot outside.

NEW BRUNCH MENU! Best brunch I've had in a while. Big fan of the menu where you get to try endless different small plates of food and endless mimosas for an extra fee. We even got a suprise soft serve at the end! If you're looking for something new, great food, and friendly staff, this is the place.

here is some FANTASTIC food at Social Taco!! 🌮 🌮 I visited with some friends twice in the past week. Both times we were all thoroughly pleased with the service and loved every bite of the food! The best entree (in my extremely humble opinion) are the birria tacos. They just hit diff. From the tacos themselves to the sides, the dish is well put together and more than enough to suffice for a meal.

I visit Social Taco in Homewood, Alabama, and it is like dream come true! This place is so amazing, I must tell you everything. First, the bartenders. Aimee, Gabe, Harper, and Dallas, they are best bartenders in whole world! Aimee always make drink perfect, with big smile and so friendly. Gabe, he is like magician with drinks, very fast and always make you laugh. Harper, she is so nice and make best cocktails ever. And Dallas, he is very cool, make you feel like old friend. Now, the food. The Tuna ceviche is my favorite "Primero". It is so fresh, like fish just come from ocean. Very delicious, I want to eat every day. And the Elote, it is corn but with magic. So much flavor, make my mouth happy. These two are best starters, you must try. For main dish, I love the B.B.B. bowl. It is so tasty, with everything I like. After eat this bowl, I feel strong and happy, like Russian bear. It is perfect combination of flavors, make you feel full and satisfied. Carlos, the manager, he is best manager I ever see. He always check on guests, make sure everything is perfect. Very nice man, make you feel welcome. And Brad, my favorite server, he is so good. Very fast, always get order right, and very friendly. Social Taco is best restaurant in Homewood. If you visit, you must come here. The people are amazing, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is very fun. Thank you, Social Taco, for making my time in Alabama so wonderful!

I went for a drink during happy hour, and the frospresso was really good. I liked the chips and salsa a lot, too. The mojito was solid.

Fantastic food! Did not disappoint! Birria tacos were on point, and the brunch Tlayudas was more than expected! The spicy margarita was delicious just not spicy enough for me. The michelada says any beer + $2 but if you get draft it will only be half a beer. Overall experience was great, we will be back!

We tried the new Social Taco and had an excellent experience eating there for dinner. We weee seated immediately and amazed at how fast all of the service was with it being a brand new restaurant. They staff was also quick to check on us often. We tried the queso and I liked that they had 2 different kinds of tortilla chips with a thicker chip for the queso than what they had for the salsa. Both had a nice flavor. The tacos that I got were AMAZING! They were full of flavor and I will definitely be getting these again the next time I come which will be soon.

The food was yummy, but I wasn’t a fan of the seasoning they put on the chips and more… Service was super fast and lovely, and the decor and vibe is super comfy and friendly. I definitely recommend!

We had an awesome Birthday brunch. The food was good, service was excellent! There was no wait. We were not rushed through service. The staff is considerate of everyones needs from the children to my 80 yerold dad. Big thanks to our waiter, Mason and all the other staff. They handled our group without a sweat...well, maybe a little.

My experience here had good, attentive service that wasn't over the top. The food was served quickly, but wasn't good (not particularly bad, per se, just mediocre). The ambiance was cheap and cold. Nothing here to make a person want to settle in or spend any time here.

Service great! Music 10000/10! Queso 0/10 - reminds me of slop from big brother felt like store bought canned queso so thick. Chicken was very dry not that much flavor. The chips and salsa are great! My husband got the Al pastor torta and that was actually pretty good, but pretty disappointed in the food overall.

I rarely leave low ratings, but I want to be honest about my experience. The food was decent not great but the prices were fair. We visited on a Saturday during brunch with a group of six adults, three preteens, and two small children. The weather was nice, so we chose to sit outside. Our first server accidentally dropped an entire tray of waters, and some splashed on one of our guests. Accidents happen, but no manager came out to check on us or apologize, which was disappointing. We were then assigned a new server. My Tablitas were burnt on the first try but replaced with a much better plate. Unfortunately, a bug fell into my mimosa. When I showed the server, Jackson, and asked for a replacement, he said I’d have to pay for another even though the drink was only $4 and I had half left. I wasn’t asking for a full new drink, just for what was lost. He never returned to check on refills after that. With automatic gratuity included, the level of service felt indifferent. The $47 tip was generous, but honestly not deserved. I wouldn’t sit in his section again and I’m on the fence about returning at all.

Friend and I went here last Saturday and were sat on the patio. We waited 15-20min with no one coming to greet us or say we’ll be over soon. We watched as other tables around us were greeted, ordered, and received their food and drinks. I went inside to ask if we could order anything and the host looked flustered and said of course sure someone will be over soon. A server came by and apologized saying they would comp our drinks only though we had seen them 20 feet away greeting other tables in the same section. Service is lacking and we only ordered guac which we still paid for. Would not recommend and will not be back.
