One of my go-to spots to eat out at. The General Tso's Chicken is amazing. As well as the spring rolls and cheese wontons. The Lo Mein and Pork fried rice are good too. The staff and family that own it are great. The prices are also very affordable.
We go here often for sit down lunches and take outs too. Nice friendly people as well.

Love the food, the prices, the atmosphere, and the friendly faces working there. They serve a special dinner on Christmas. My family resorted to going there on Christmas after an emergency left us unable to make our own. We will be going back.
After reading other reviews I decided to try the sesame chicken with fried rice! It was excellent! Not too sweet...broccoli cooked perfectly and rice was fresh with onion...carrots....scallion...and egg! Fresh and perfect! So glad I tried. Just visiting from New York where there are Chinese restaurants everywhere! This was the best I have had in a long time! I hope to visit again and will bring my friend! Also thank you to the waitress who was wonderful as well! 😊👍
I asked the server, "How is this a diner AND a Chinese restaurant?" She responded that she didn't know. We ordered burgers and fries and soup. I threw in Vietnamese egg rolls, for kicks. And then they came out, and boy were they yummy! A nearby table who ordered chicken and broccoli had their meal delivered by an Asian chef, who was obviously the one cooking. (Initial question now answered. How did the server not know this?) I began to question my choice of burgers. That chicken and broccoli looked super good! So, I ordered cashew chicken to go and it did not disappoint. Oh, and the burgers were pretty good, too. Sorry that I forgot the pics to prove it!
A family owned diner serving Chinese/American food. Service is very good! We got the crab rangoon, hot and sour soup, general tsos chicken, and pork fried rice. Everything was delicious, and the price is great. Highly recommended!
Ordered the General Tso's chicken with fried rice, but requested white meat chicken instead of dark. They gave me the chicken they normally use for the Sweet and Sour chicken (which is what I expected). It was slightly soggy, as it would have been better had the sauce been on the side, but it was very good and I will order that again (although I'll ask for the sauce on the side). The lunch size is very good. The waitress was very attentive. Restaurant was clean.

Wow! Our first visit. Excellent food & service, not to mention plenty of friendly locals to chat with. 😃 My husband thoroughly enjoyed his perfectly battered fish fry dinner, and I was ecstatic to finally find delicious Chinese food here! Best pork fried rice I've had in a very very long time, as well as really good General Tso's chicken! We can't wait to go back! Our server, Danielle, was fantastic...helpful, friendly, and attentive. And what a happy surprise to find a piano in there! This is the first time we have eaten inside a restaurant since before the pandemic began. We have found our new favorite place in our new town! 😋
This was the best spot you can pass by to enjoy a very good and delicious plate…. Personal super friendly the food was just perfectly cooked …. Clean. We Definitely loved it!…. From Brooklyn with love to this guys! Great job!
After experiencing a power outage in nearby Watkins Glen, we headed down the road to search for a town that had power and was offering food. Hamlet Delight's looked inviting from the outside so we checked out the great reviews and menu. The menu offers much more than Chinese fare. You'll also be able to order breakfast, burgers, sandwiches and more. A quick look inside showed happy customers in a very clean space. So we decided to try it. To make an already long story short, the food service and prices were all excellent. General Tso's Chicken, Beef with broccoli, Hunan beef and wonton soup. This was suprisingly some of the best Chinese food I've ever had anywhere. Highly recommended.
I ordered chinese take out from Hamlet delights today. Vegetable lo mein, General Tso tofu, Vegetable fried rice, cheese wonton and soda. Quick delivery and the food was just perfect. I recommend the lo mein.
So impressed. A great mix of Americano and Asian. The inside is decorated the same way plenty of local and American related decor with subtle and tasteful Asian beauty mixed in. The fish fry was awesome. Not your standard beer batter. More like panko. Cryspy tasty greatness. Excellent portions. Remarkably low prices. Clean restaurant super friendly staff. Good beer selection. Some wine and other drink options. Decent sized bar to sit at. The booths are upholstered in candy apple red vinyl. A Classic American color. Honestly if you are not eating here you're missing out. This was our first time after moving to the area a little while ago. Definitely will be back.
Amazing food. Great prices and outstanding service. We went to Hamlet Delights again today for lunch. The food is seriously so good. We had hot open faced turkey and hot roast beef sandwich with fries that were on point with flavor, presentation and cost. My children in the past have had the Sesame Chicken and rice and Beed and Broccoli with fried rice... Amazing! There is something for everyone. The service is perfect! (Very hard to please myself as a server but I can say.. Outstanding Service.) My family and neighbor has never been disappointed. The atmosphere is very welcoming. I highly recommend this establishment to others! Keep up the great work! We will be back!
Food was pretty good! My waitress was phenomenal. The atmosphere is not so good. So many ppl were staring like we don't belong here 😒
No-frills, solid breakfast options and friendly staff always ready to refill your coffee. Spacious, so even on Sunday mornings there is likely to be room for your group. Very good pancakes, eggs made properly to order for everyone in the group, and very reasonable prices. I have not been for lunch recently, but the dishes at that time were pretty basic American Chinese. Glancing at the menu, I feel it's worth another try, especially at the low prices.
Food was absolutely delicious. The sesame chicken was too crunchy for my own liking but other than that everything was amazing.
The prime rib cost $10 more than advertised on the menu, it was ok at best, the baked potato was basically raw and the steamed veritable was a spoon full....what happened to this place? It used to be so good
