Bing Su Korean Dessert Cafe Houston Reviews
I love this place! It’s my second time here. My friend and I shared the small green tea shaved ice and it was the perfect amount. Their ice is so smooth, airy, slightly sweet and milky. No chunky texture at all and melts in your mouth immediately. Almost like ice cream but lighter. The toppings and matcha powder adds great flavors and textures.
I loved this place, the black sesame bing su was a perfect light and not too sweet desert. Love the mini size!
Korean hotdogs are sooooo good. The ice cream looks😂 but taste really good. You know the blueberries in many restaurants are so sour but not here. They are SWEET. Love it and my dog's name is also Bing Su coz we love Korean dessert so much😍
Love Bingsu it never disappoints can be busy at times but they put out orders pretty quickly.
Service was great! Food was amazing and atmosphere was welcoming. Must try donuts, mozzarella dipped in hot cheetos, thai tea and mango tea. All 10/10
My homegirl and I stopped by Sul Bing Su in Bellaire on a chill afternoon, and honestly, it turned into the sweetest part of our day literally. We’d been craving something cold and fun, and this spot definitely delivered. The shop has such a cute, cozy vibe and bright, clean, and perfect for catching up with a friend. The staff greeted us right away and were super friendly and patient while we decided what to get. We ended up ordering the strawberry bingsu with Oreo toppings, and it was everything. The presentation was beautiful, a big fluffy mountain of shaved ice topped with fresh strawberries, drizzled with condensed milk, and sprinkled with crushed Oreos. When we took that first bite, we both just looked at each other like, “Oh yeah, this is it.” The texture was so light and creamy. It literally melted in your mouth. The mix of sweet strawberries with the crunchy Oreos and the soft, milky ice was the perfect combo, not too sweet, just right. We sat there for a while chatting and enjoying every bite, and the staff didn’t rush us at all. You can tell they take pride in what they serve, and everything felt super fresh and made with care. If you’re in Bellaire and want a cute dessert spot to cool off or hang out with friends, Sul Bing Su is the move. Their bingsu is top tier , very flavorful, refreshing, and picture-perfect. We’ll definitely be back to try more flavors next time! 💕🍓🍧
We spent the day in Chinatown and Sul Bing Su was at last stop on our agenda. It did not disappoint! The restaurant was clean and inviting. We arrived before a big rush and was able to ask questions about the menu which the employees were happy to answer and explain what was what. We ended up ordering a mochi donut, milk ice cream, mango bing su, Oreo bing su, fruit kabob and two Korean donuts! Everything was thoroughly enjoyed by my family of 5. We will definitely be repeat customers!
I visited this vibrant spot on a bustling Saturday with my friend, and let me tell you, it was electric! Despite the weekend crowd, the energy only added to the experience. We decided to indulge in a large order of Bing Su, topped with luscious fresh mango and juicy strawberries that were simply irresistible. We grabbed two classic hotdogs to complement our sweet treat, perfectly satisfying our savory cravings. If you're in the area and extended for Bing Su, this place is a must-visit! The combination of flavors and the lively atmosphere made our outing unforgettable!
They have a togo option for the bingsu and I'll warn you now, don't do it. If you show up close to when they are closing the shop, just DONT. To go bingsu means melted ice. Ice that didn't melt ended up clumping up. The fruit got hard and crunchy. My teeth were too sensitive for this, maybe you'll be a stronger bingsu warrior and try it out. What I could eat was super enjoyable tho :D
I love bingsu, and this place did not disappoint! It was fluffy, sweet, and soo delicious! I got the berry medley and taro bingsu, both of which were amazing. The taro came with soft serve and mochi, and the flavor was light and not too sweet. The berry medley had berries in a sweet sauce and was a bit sweeter, but still so refreshing. They had free stickers of BTS too! Highly recommend!
5/30/23 Amazing food. Super friendly people. First time coming here. Tried the strawberry Bing su and mango strawberry bing su. I REALLY recomend the Bing su on hot days. The Bing Su is shaved ice, condensed milk, and then topping choice. 5/31/23 We back again! Easement, Green tea and mango strawberries. So so good!
I love their Tanghulu and their strawberry cream. Their corn dogs to are so good. The bathrooms are okay the Service is nice and so is the place.
This is a really neat place. They have several types of Korean desserts. The tanghulu is delicious. My favorites are the strawberry and grape. The mochinuts are also really delicious. We went again for the viral Korean donuts because we had heard so much about them.... But unfortunately I would say I was rather disappointed. They have several flavors to choose from however the taste is just not there for me. Perhaps they taste better fresh. When we went, they have them sitting in a display fridge. We dried the chocolate and the strawberry cream one. Both were ok. The breading wasn't as fluffy as I was expecting and the cream is just like a regular cool whip. They weren't worth the hype
If I could, I’d give him a 4.5 Came here on a Sunday afternoon and it was still a busy Korean dessert shop. They also serve fried hotdogs, ice cream, bingsu and ttekboki. The location here was busy that the tabletops were a little sticky b/c the employees didn’t get a chance to clean them before people needed to sit down. This lost them half a star in my rating (however since I can only do full stars I rounded up). Although there was about eight people ahead of us we were able to order pretty quickly. then we had to wait for our desserts for about 4 to 6 minutes but nothing that was too excessive. I’d rather one at fresh and freezing versus Having it already pre-melted because they prepared it ahead of time. It should be noted. This is a solo bathroom so there might be a wait since there’s only one. To be a little bit, tough in this neighborhood cause it shares it with a bunch of other retail stores that are pretty popular in this part of Chinatown right off of Bel Air Blvd. Note my rating system: 1 Star: I wouldn't recommend 2 Stars: Didn't hit my standards 3 Stars: Average (nothing special) 4 Stars: Above Average. Would recommend. Still looking for the 5 Star. 5 Stars: Top of their game. Great food. Great service. Would recommend and plan on returning.
I ordered the half cheese and half sausage sweet potato Korean corn dog and my boyfriend ordered the regular potato Korean corn dog, and they were both fresh and crispy! I enjoyed their variety of sauces to choose from for the corn dog they were fun to try. We also ordered the Oreo and strawberry cream donuts and they are simply delicious! We will be returning there soon!
I recently visited Sul Bing Su, and I’m excited to share my experience! It’s the first-ever shop in Houston offering tanghulu, and it was absolutely fantastic perfectly crispy, sweet, and a unique treat. Their mochi donuts were also incredible soft, chewy, and full of flavor. Every bite was a delight! The ambience and atmosphere were amazing, creating a cozy and welcoming space to enjoy desserts. The service was pretty good too, with friendly staff who made sure everything went smoothly. If you’re looking for a spot with unique and delicious desserts, Sul Bing Su is a must-visit. I can’t wait to come back!🥰
This place is great, and is bundled with the K-Dogs as well as the Mochinut store - they’re all at the same counter. The Bing Su is definitely the best dish out of all of the choices here. The portion is pretty good for the price, and they let you pick and choose toppings (we got the strawberry mango). The fruits aren’t always sweet or fully ripe. The dining area is large but is also kind of messy. Staff is okay, not too helpful in picking options or providing input. Overall a good dessert spot to stop by and grab something fun.
Nice spacious ambience, but tables are not cleaned. Lavatory also quite a mess. Mochinut is special, doughnut with soft chewy mochi, the glaze is sweet and not too intense. Would try other flavors if I visit again. The sesame Bingsu I have is a small size. If one is craving for a sweet treats, can get a large one, else a small bowl is good for two.
Disappointing Bingsoo Experience The bingsoo was terrible. We ordered the Black Sesame Bingsoo, and it had no flavor. The shaved ice was bland with a rough texture, not the soft, milky consistency you’d expect. I doubt they used real milk. The black sesame topping tasted artificial, and the almonds were a bad addition—soft and unnecessary. The mochi wasn’t even chewy, possibly not fresh. The Strawberry Tang Hu Lu was okay but overly sweet—I rushed home to brush my teeth after. The service was just okay, nothing exceptional.
