Bismillah Restaurant & Cafe Houston Reviews
Delicious halwa puri brunch. Tried their samosa and chaat and that was amazing too. Atmosphere was noisy and inside heating was not adequate but we warmed ourselves with chai. I will definitely be a return client
OMG this place has the best Chicken Pulao in the entire country and I'm not exaggerating. First off, finding chicken pulao is super rare anywhere, you can find mutton option but finding one with chicken is a Unicorn. Their taste of the chicken pulao is just like when your mom makes it at home. It's so comforting, rice is so soft, yakhni in it tastes wonderful. I cannot stop ordering this item from them via UberEats. It's especially best to eat when you are feeling sick, gives your tummy nice cozy feeling afterwards. I've been wanting to try their Chicken Biryani but each time end up ordering chicken pulao instead. I also really liked their bun kebabs, the buns tastes just like the buns you ate in Pakistan growing up. Chicken Seekh kebabs are packed with flavor. Can't wait to try more items but this place is a gem so far!
This is easily the best Pakistani street food I have had in N.America. the restaurant is clean and had ample of space to seat large parties. Food arrives piping hot and on time. The menu has a wide variety of items to choose from. We tried the chicken tikka paratha roll, sev puri, Chana chaat and chicken strips. Everything was fantastic. Everything had an authentic taste. This is now my favorite restaurant to visit whenever I am in Houston.
Great food and amazing service. We love venture this area a lot to eat ME food and this one is a gem. Mint lemonade is insane.

This place was so incredible that we went back the next day for breakfast again. The halwa poori was fabulous and their achar was super tasty.
Very welcoming staff, nice and inviting interior. I tried bun kebab and beef seekh kebab with paratha. My first time trying bun kebab, tasted good but it was quite cold so the texture didn’t feel good. Liked the seekh kebab more, homemade taste with lots of flavors.
This is a great spot if you are in the mood of some spicy snack options. Huge variety in the menu that is good for all age groups. We love the bun kabab, chaat, beef behari roll, spicy fries and hunter beef sandwich to name a few. This time we tried khattay aloo which was pretty spicy but loved it. Prices are on a bit higher side but good pakistani taste. My daughter didn’t like the Junior mac and cheese so she left that and we ended up getting her a sandwich from the bakery next door.
I loved this restaurant. The food is very delicious. It def filled us up. The rice was so good but super spicy & I didn't expect it lol. I enjoyed the service a lot, too. It was our first time there & for that reason, he gave us 2 free smoothies. The man serving us was so kind. We will be returning. :)

We recently visited for dinner, hoping for a satisfying meal. Unfortunately, most of our main dishes fell short. The chicken biryani was average in flavor, lacking the aromatic richness we hoped for. The chicken tawa qeema had a slightly burnt aftertaste, as if it was reheated a bit too long. The chicken boti was also just average—tender enough, but not particularly memorable. the chapati and paratha were fresh, soft, and perfectly made. They were easily the best part of our meal. Given our experience, this place might be a decent option for a quick snack or light bite featuring their breads, but I wouldn't recommend it for a full dinner.
The reviews say something positive about this halal food store. However, I did not enjoy the food. I think I have to try again. The service was good and the place is somewhat clean. Didn’t like the rajkachori. The spice level did not have a zing to it. Halua puri also was not pleasing. Since it was my first time, maybe my choice was not good. Next time will try their popular item.

I used to go pretty frequently, the quality has changed so much over time. The fries, burgers, and mojitos were all not upto par unfortunately. The bread was stale, the burgers had no pop of flavor and mojitos were straight up jaritos with mint and lemon. It used to be so good. Not anymore. The wings were 13.99 for just 6 pieces… come on now. Need to revamp.
I wish I had better things to say but sadly, my family got food poisoning this time around. I got my usual chicken wrap and fries and I am not sure what happened because we loved this place for…

Ordered 2 dozen frozen beef samosa 1 dozen was beef and 1 dozen was chicken. This has happened in past also. Call them they say oh maybe they got mixed by accident.
Their food is inedible ! They have no idea of what authentic Pakistani food is and not should they claim as such. They seem to be focused on making a buck! Period. Pity . They were good at one point …
