Excellent experience at China Inn Cafe 7. From the moment we walked in, the gentleman who helped us was very kind and attentive, and you can tell the entire team truly cares about what they do. The food was delicious, fresh, and well prepared, and the service was fast and friendly. Everyone ,the owner, the cooks, and the staff was excellent. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place. Thank you all for the great service!

Very good food. We usually take to go, but we decided to eat at the restaurant tonight and we weren't disappointed. The owner is very friendly and took good care of us. The jasmine tea was wonderful, and the dishes were beautiful. The food is always delicious.

I met the owners back in 2017 at their original Chinese restaurant and it was very pleasing to see they opened a location here Katy. The food is great, especially the made to order egg rolls! Lunch portions are filling and tasty, love the home made chili oil, and the service is top notch! Very attentive and friendly to all the customers! Will definitely eat here again (next week) and would definitely recommend!

I had a great to-go dinner from them. The service was friendly and attentive. We ordered a variety of dishes, including egg rolls, hot and sour soup, orange chicken and sesame chicken, and every single one was delicious. The flavors were bold and savory, and the portions were very generous to say the least. The chicken was a great balance where there wasn't too much batter and the chicken wasn't tiny and the fortune cookies at the end were the perfect sweet treat. I've been to a lot of American Chinese restaurants but they stands out from the crowd. Will come back and try more of the menu!

The BEST Chinese food in Katy/ Houston area!! The owner is amazing I don't have enough words to describe how perfect this place is. The food is fresh everytime. Customer service is absolutely great. Last night, my husband and I, along with a friend, went to China Inn Cafe 7 for dinner. The food was great! 😊 we had Sesame Chicken, Mongolian Beef, and General Tso’s Chicken. We also had the Spring Rolls as an appetizer. Everything was hot (in temperature) and tasty. The staff was attentive and nice. We will definitely be going back. Being that this is a local restaurant, I’d love to see it survive. Check it out, whether dining in or for take out.

Came to try this place out after it replaced Ling Long and it was pretty good. The egg rolls are huge and delicious and the egg drop soup is great. Would definitely come back and try some different dishes.

Great customer service and answering my questions! I ordered the lunch special beef and broccoli and the lunch special pepper steak. The beef and broccoli is so tender and melting in my mouth! The eggdrop soup was definitely heaven sent! Thank you for taking care of my lunch cravings!

It is rare that I walk into a local spot and don’t find a reason to tear the menu apart, but China Inn 7 is operating at a level that most kitchens can only dream of. First, let’s talk about the protein. It is stunning. Usually, you get meat that’s been overworked or left to dry out, but this? This is perfectly tender. It is succulent, and it melts on the tongue. It’s absolutely exquisite. Then there’s the sauce. Most places serve a gloopy, cornstarch heavy mess, but the quality here is refined. The thickness is spot on it coats the meat with total precision. The balance of sweet and tangy is a masterclass in flavor profile; it’s vibrant, it’s sharp, and it hits every single note on the palate. And let’s not overlook the white rice. It is the ultimate test of a kitchen’s discipline, and here, it is perfect. It’s clean, it’s fluffy, and every grain is distinct not a clump in sight. It’s the perfect, neutral canvas for that magnificent sauce. Finally, a kitchen that respects the ingredients. This isn't just "takeout" this is a high level execution of flavor.

Do not sleep on this place!!! They have the best Egg drop soup everrrrrrrrrr. I always judge Chinese resturant by their egg drop soup and this place is it! Egg rolls are fresh and crispy. If you want good food and decent price come to this place. You won't be disappointed. The owner is lovely and so nice! My new favorite place ❤️

I was going to be in this area for an appointment, therefore I looked ahead of time for a Chinese restaurant. Read reviews and decided Id best try it. The gentleman greeted me. I should have asked, but Im thinking he was the owner. He told me to sit anywhere. He got my drink order and I looked at the menu though I knew what I was going to order. I ordered the lunch portion of sweet and sour chicken, white rice and won ton soup. Everything was very good. I also ordered a large won ton soup to go. If I lived closer, id definitely be a regular and try different things. The place was nice. Very clean. Give them a try. Sorry I failed to take pictures.

The egg rolls were huge, definitely good for 2 people. The general Tao's chicken was also really good, the pieces of chicken were pretty big which always makes me hesitant but they had just the right amount of crispiness and no tendons to be found! Don't be fooled by the picture of the egg drop soup, that was the lunch portion and it was more of a bowl than a cup! Overall this place was amazing. The staff was very friendly and prompt, and big bonus for the cleanliness! Come try them out!

Bathrooms are spotless and car parking is decent, love this restaurant a lot and very kid friendly. They answer all questions you may have and even have vegetarian options ☺️ Everything is made to order and fresh - the owners son (I think) is very nice as well. Give this place a try next time you’re wanting a family meal! & please show kindness to the staff, they’re very polite and this is family owned

Very good food. Have a good mixture of dishes to choose from including some traditional style dishes and some common Chinese takeout dishes. They even have several choices of dumplings! The owner seemed to be working when I came by and he was very friendly and accommodating in helping me choose the best dishes for me. I will definitely come again next time I am in town for work.

I come in and eat regularly and they have a Chinese woman cooking so the food quality is very good due to that and the specific recipes which are not standard in most Chinese restaurants that lather sugar. They have their own recipes that do not follow any Chinese restaurants in any Chinatowns I’ve been to. Portions are not big but the food ratios are really big and does not include filler food at all. I’ve tried almost their entire lunch menu already and I would say there is pride in the food hard to find
