Craft Pita Houston Reviews
Craft Pita is one of the best spots I've found today. Very nice place, clean clean clean. Very wonderful presentation. I will go back there and recommend that you go there. Lots of different options for vegetarians. Live this please.
Always fresh and delicious! I love both the Fountainview and the Buffalo Spdwy locations. CP is also my go-to for catering, since they can accommodate so many different dietary needs (GF, vegan, halal, etc).
Fresh and flavorful food with tons of vegan options. Spicy Hummus is delicious. Our kids enjoyed simple rice pilaf. Fast service! We’ll be back.
This is very rare that I walk into the place and find everything to be spot on. I haven't came back to visit again one day just to be sure that this is just not my imagination and that this is one of those days that it was just a good day for the restaurant. These guys actually Pride their self on Quality Service throughout the duration of your visit. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Put it like this I did not need to Salt and Pepper in my food. Just Mediterranean was far beyond what I have experienced and I'm going to keep coming back for different dishes that I've seen others around enjoying during my dining experience. The establishment is clean and orderly even down to the bathroom. I should have taken pictures but my phone was low but I will be definitely posting some later in the future. I have to say, The Gyro wrap I've tried we're great. The pita bread was so fresh even on the Caesar wrap with the chicken Mediterranean seasoned crispy pita chips paired welll with the wrap. The lentils ate even great to add to what I already was having. I use the pita chips to dip into it as a dip... In-house freshness!!! These guys definitely got my business. Keep up the great service on everything! #NoCapOnQuality
Quality of ingredients 10/10 .Flavor should not be underestimated. The melody of flavors with the Beef Pita and spicy hummus was amazing. If you like Mediterranean and lots of flavor Craft Pita is a must. Also a nice touch, the tip recommendations were a breath of fresh air and the Service was very friendly and attentive.
Craft Pita is my new favorite restaurant! My sister brought me because she said it was good and I am hooked! Everything is fresh and full of flavor! Love all the healthy choices. My favorite is the salad bowl with lentils. Absolutely delicious! My sister loves their rotisserie chicken, French fries, and spicy hummus. The staff is super friendly and the restaurant is super clean and has a great atmosphere. I would recommend to anyone!
Tried this place yesterday and was not disappointed at all! The indoor area is decorated beautifully and stylish. The food tasted incredibly fresh as well. The teas and Turkish coffee were delicious plus the staff was incredibly friendly! We ordered the hummus bowl and the zataar. There's also vegan options. Also there's a ton of parking and space inside.
Delicious! The falafels are made fresh and you can taste the goodness of their ingredients. We got the falafel bowl, chicken bowl and a side of Zatar bread & Cheese bread combo. We’ll go back to eat here for sure, might try making it in for happy hour and perhaps getting one of their desserts next time.
First time here on the recommendation of a friend. I got the Shawarma Fries and the Chicken Shawarma Pita. Both were cooked very well but the garlic was so overpowering in both I would either not get the garlic next time or I would just consider other menu items without the garlic. Based on my experience today I would give this place a 5 out of 10.
We ordered the lunch special, which I think is the best considering it’s quite a good portion . The wrap has fries inside it , a nice kick I would say. Spicy hummus and babaganoush were good . I ordered a side a soup , which wasn’t to my liking , it’s very mild and Luke warm in temperature. I wa expecting it to be little hot considering it was freezing outside. The pistachio cookie is my favorite ! Sauces are decent as well .
I ordered the half chicken online to-go and was told they only had 1/4 chicken left, but they could start the half if I really wanted it, it would just take an extra 30 minutes. Understandable and as I wanted the half chicken, I opted to wait. Pretty good decision because the rotisserie chicken was yummy. The skin was nicely crispy (although slightly missing on my leg piece) and the meat was juicy. It could have had a little more seasoning to amp up the flavor, it tasted like a juicy chicken but not necessarily like anything unique, and I do feel it was priced a little high for what you get… but it’s not the worst thing. I had the hummus on the side that was very creamy and I appreciated the olive oil and pine nut topping. Clearly I started chowing down before I remembered to take a picture!! The pita was honestly like grocery store quality in my opinion so I would rather have had the choice of adding rice instead of dry bread, but again not really worth knocking points down for a fresh and good meal.
Very interesting little place serves Americanized Middle Eastern food. The name is misleading when said "True Mediterranean". Dont get me wrong, the food is good but not authentic. I like how they wrapped the Falafel Sandwitch and the tea was good. Prices are reasonable and the service is great. I will definately come back once in a while.
I've been hearing about this place but never really visited until yesterday! Was looking for somewhere that has healthy food but also quick service and found this place. Honestly I wasn't sure what to order because I am just not familiar with meditarranean food. but the lady at the front recommended chicken bowl and it tasted so good! It's like chipotle but quite healthy and delicious. I did my base as salad and rice half half. The rice has a distinctive taste but it's palatable. I normally don't finish the chicken in a chicken bowl because i'm not a big fan of chicken. However, their chicken was really soft and I liked how it didn't have that unique smell (i'm just really sensitive so). Anyways yeah, it was a healthy bowl that I would come back and try again. I liked the sauce that came with it and the pita bread was great too. No intense seasoning which I really liked. Will be back!
Craft pita was a good find for a brunch on a weekend! Read the reviews and went with high hopes. The ambience is just amazing, they have outdoor and indoor seating. It's more of a self service restaurant. The idea that everything is sourced locally is quite impressive. Coming to food - it's good but could have been better. I got the zaatar fries - the zaatar and garlic aioli really goes well. The half zaatar and cheese flat bread was decent. Next we tried the Rice bowl with chicken - the chicken was delicious. The chicken pita in shawarma style was something that I did not like since there were no veggies, should have got the regular one. The falafel pita was good too. Overall it was a good experience and definitely recommended for good food.
I was super excited to visit this restaurant but unfortunately I was a little bit disappointed... I first discovered it via plant it forward page and I got so excited about them buying local organic vegetables. All their ingredients are pretty clean and of high quality and that's definitely a great thing. My tummy is super sensitive and I eat healthy food all the time so if there is anything in the food that is not good for it, it gets really upset 😝! And it didn't after eating at this place. The place is beautiful and i love the pictures on the walls and the different lebanese gadgets all over the store. The staff is super nice and helpful. This is why I gave it a 3. The food was not good in my opinion. There is so much room for improvement when it comes to presentation and taste. The presentation of the food was very poor. The presentation of the food doesn't have to only be excellent at high end restaurants. I go to Fadi's which is a cantina style Lebanese restaurant and my mouth salivates when I see the food. This is extremely important in my opinion. The fattoush did not look yummy and usually when i see a plate of fattoush my mouth gets all excited! I don't think the carrots go well with fattoush. A typical Lebanese fattoush has tomatoes, cucumbers that are cut differently and blend better with the fattoush, sometimes radish and purslane herb! It is the most delicious salad that I grew up with or ever had and this was nothing close to that. The roasted cauliflowers also sounded delicious but did not look or taste that delicious. The flavors were not apparent enough and my taste buds were not thrilled. The chicken was not good - it was dry and had no flavor. I was quite disappointed. I grew up having Lebanese style rotisserie chicken and this doesn't even come close. Even the Sprouts rotisserie chicken is more moist and better tasting than this. I have also had much better Lebanese style rotisserie chicken in Houston so I know it is doable. The skin was tasty but not the meat - maybe the chicken wasn't soaked enough in the marinade. I am just guessing here. The garlic was yellow! Garlic sauce is white and not yellow. The color didn't look appetizing at all. The potatoes were good. I ordered them with garlic on the side but they brought them with garlic on top any way. Then, they brought me another side without the garlic which was definitely nice of them. The potatoes with garlic on top also didn't look so good - there needs to be a more artistic touch in putting together the dishes. The Lebanese rice was delicious! The pickles were also delicious! All in all I was happy with the service and the space and with the local sustainable food choices and eco packaging but not the presentation or taste of the food.
Horrible Service. I came in and 3 young ladies were working. Its Saturday and now 2:54. I have been standing in the same spot for about 10 minutes. I have not neen acknowledged or greeted although 2 of the young ladies have made eye contact with me. Some Caucasian people came in and were greeted right away. This is disgraceful and they are clearly discriminating in this establishment. Don't waste your time patronizing this location. The staff needs retraining.
