Great place with great people who serve here. We’ve been going here for the past few years. We enjoy how fast and efficient they are here. Food is always hot and perfect every time we come. They even remember what we order, which shows the servers don’t change here often. My favorite is their salsa and chips with just the right kick of flavor.

First timers to this restaurant. Food was great, service was excellent, prices were very reasonable. Warm red sauce that comes with chips is mild but good. On request, the green sauce is very hot. Food was served quickly.

We decided to try Juanita's instead of going down the street to our usual spot. Glad we did. The happy hour margaritas were on point and the food was very flavorful. I had the street tacos and my wife had the Enchiladas.; Both were very good. My wife cooks great Mexican food at home, so we know flavor when we taste it. The table salsa is good, but if you want something with more kick, ask for the spicy one. This will be our new go-to spot when we're not in the Northside.

Wonderful Tex Max location with great food and boozy drinks :) Prices are reasonable and on Fridays with happy hour their large margs are half off!! Complimentary chips and hot salsa was delicious and the chicken fajitas came out piping hot. The platter shown in the pic is an APPETIZER and it was filling enough to be one of our entrees. We’ll definitely be back!!

This place is good. I’ve had all of the shrimp offered as well as the beef fajitas, and beef enchiladas (on 3 occasions, calm down). They were all good. The margaritas…yes please! The staff is friendly and the environment is welcoming. Great overall.

Man oh man, oh man! I was thoroughly impressed by the service and food! After watching Once Upon a Time in Mexico so many times, it made me want to try the dish Johnny Depp always had in the movie. It's one of those dishes you don't see too often in a MX restaurant but I was glad I saw it here. The menu lists it as the "Cochinita Pibil" and it was beyond my expectations. It came with rice, a little cabbage salad with picked red onions, and a choice of beans. I paired my food with a Negra Modelo which only brought out more of the flavors. I highly recommend it. I just won't shoot the cook like in the movie... lol.

I don't usually give reviews but this place was awesome! Great customer service! Everyone was so friendly! My glass of tea was refilled the moment it was low as were my chips. Food was great! And again service was wonderful! Definitely recommend!

We had a great experience here, the service was fast and friendly. It was maybe not I. The best area as a gentleman’s club was next door but the margarita helped ease that concern. Wish we had more on for dessert, the churros were probably amazing.

Alright, I've heard a lot about Juanitas and Mama Juanitas from several people this summer so we had to try it out. The menu is extensive. An option for everyone's taste. The plate size to price ratio is excellent, meaning you get a great amount of food for the price. Salsa and queso were very good which is something I always look for in a good texmex spot. We got an order of vegetarian chalupas and the El Gallo plate that came with chicken enchiladas in verde sauce and a fajita beef hard taco. Everything was excellent and the service was very quick and helpful. The atmosphere is what I would equate to a dive bar or local joint but had its cute quirks. We'll definitely be back as happy hour is all weekend and 4-7 through the week.

@nailsby_cherrypie Huge menu!!! There's going to be something on there you can eat for sure! Strong drinks we was 🔥off of the 1st drink...and I got a 🍍colada! I would say make sure the waiter understands exactly what your saying or you will get charged extra! Chicken enchiladas are💣 and I really loved their rice and soppapillias! Glad this is close to us I will be going back!

Came to grab a bite to eat after work and opted to try out this place because it was on the way home and got the California burrito (I think that’s what it’s called) and I was not pleased with my food at all. The burrito had some kind of liquid cheese or something and I’m so not a fan. The beans in it were good, but it had lettuce (which tasted a little weird) and beef and chicken and that liquid cheese that I mentioned. I paid $12.95 for the burrito and with taxes included, my check wound up being $14.03. The only reason for me keeping the burrito is because the servers were so nice, I was hungry and was in a rush to go home. But never will I go to this place again, nor would I recommend. Some pros to add were the chips were fresh and the salsa was good and like I mentioned, the service was pretty quick and all of the gentlemen were super friendly and attentive. Do not think I’ll be going back.

This place had hair in their soup! I called and asked if I could simply show them my video as proof to get my refund since I’m currently at the hospital and already threw the soup away.. they said no! They said I must bring the physical soup.. I’m not going to dig in the trash lol

Rude employee or boss, me and other people were in a vintage market he denied anyone from using the restroom and he threatened to tow peoples cars even though we bought the place!! Food was also really greasy
