This is now one of only TWO places in Houston that have set a ridiculously high standard for fried rice. I had never heard of “black fried rice” before but I decided to give it a try. Now I can’t eat anything else. Excellent portions, and plenty of egg and shrimp. Their egg rolls are a nice size and very, very delicious. The meat to veggie ratio is perfect. 10/10, 5 stars, and highly recommended.

Food is nice. The egg rolls are always a good starter. The grilled pork and steamed rice is my go to with an egg on top. The pork is prepared in a brown sauce .

Their steamed pompano is unbelievably delicious. One of the best fishes ever tried. However, I didn’t like their seafood kee mow but the pompano was so good that I think they deserve a 5 star for it. They had a delicious thai tea as well.

Dropped in for lunch while getting my car cleaned at Aqua, amazing value lunch specials. I got the red curry with chicken and egg rolls and soup. Good portions and flavor. I paid 9.70 before tip for everything in my picture!

Was a little skeptical when we arrived to this place around 1pm in a Sunday there was nobody there, and the rest of the restaurants around seemed full. Luckily we continued in it was really good and they had a lot of variety. I had yellow curry and my wife had Thai style pork with egg noodles. After we got there the place did end up getting pretty busy with what seemed like regulars. I'll definitely be returning when I feel like thai good next

When I got to this place it was empty and inside it is small but feels homey! They have a great menu and even a vegetarian menu. They were fast to take our order and fast to give us or appetizers, which were delicious! They brought our food fast with good big portions. It was delicious! The food had plenty of flavors. Definitely recommend this place for your Thai food fix.

I often miss my mothers food so I am glad I found Khun Kay. They are delicious. Reasonable prices and portions. They have a lot of options. Vegan friendly. They messed up my order once and luckily I checked it before leaving. They quickly made the correct item for me. When I don’t want to make thai food I go here.

First time here, we didn't know what to eat..after eating, we all glad we came...satisfied! My husband order the seafood crackers (seafood stir fry served with brown rice) really good and the amount of food right on point worth the money. I order thai noodle soup with roasted duck, I add extra chili fish sauce and chili powder which have on the table and it's delicious. The server and owner really nice, they get the high chair ready when we walking in with the car seat. They give us small bowls of soup and also delicious. We will come back and try other dishes.

The food was good. The peanut sauce for $1.00 was strange I think it should be included in the price of the dish. I ordered the chicken spring rolls. The staff was friendly and the place was clean and quiet. I will be back to try more food.

Food was good. Read review before coming about the food being bland but that was not true in my case. I will have to come back and try different things. I highly recommend the scallion pancakes and the cheese rolls. Ordered and got my food super fast. Plenty of parking. There's both indoor and outdoor seating.

This was just ok. The pad kee mao (drunken noodle) dish was really sweet. So was the basil seafood stir fry. The Thai dumplings where good but a little bland. They were seasoned well but didn't use enough of whatever flavoring they added in. We found most of the food too sweet, too salty, not spicy at all (even though we asked for hot). It's just really average Thai food. I've had better but there was no wait and the food came out fast.

Beef was very tough. Cheese rolls were good. Used to come here 10 years ago n it was a lot better. Sorry to see it go down.

This place is OK if you’re looking for Thai food prepared for American tastes — not too spicy or challenging. My wife, daughter and I ordered three dishes for Sunday lunch. The red curry with vegetables and tofu was a bit bland and the curry lacked a rich coconut milk flavor. The Phad Tai was the best dish but too sweet for me. Mixed vegetables with tofu was OK. The restaurant’s decor was fine, a nice layout with solid wood chairs. The place was clean. Service was average. What disappointed me the most was that I had to eat my meal with a tiny plastic spoon.

My first experience dining in last month was nice. My second experience ordering takeout was not. This place is situated in a low key area and it's quiet inside with plenty of seating. I ordered the tom yum soup with chicken (spice level hot) as well as the pineapple curry with shrimp. Is was decent overall. There were broccoli & green beans in the pineapple curry which I was not used to. The staff is polite. However,  I ordered the exact same thing yesterday for takeout and the tom yum was mild and the pineapple curry was pretty awful. The curry was super gritty and the color was off. The broccoli was brown on the ends and the carrots were really mushy... I am surprised they really packaged this for someone to eat and they accepted payment for it. This was too great of a hit or miss so I will not return and definitely wouldn't recommend takeout.

I ordered the shrimp and broccoli in brown sauce. The sauce was watery, it tasted weird and the fried rice tasted weird as well. Not good. Will not recommend

BLAND yet salty. This stands out as some of the most tasteless yet salty Thai food I have EVER eaten. Ordered the yellow curry crispy chicken. Ordered medium spicy yet it was not spicy at all. Curry was bland yet salty. Chicken was overcooked and tough. In top of that the price was $26 for the entree and a an iced tea. Perhaps the fact that the place was empty should have been a good indication of the quality of the food.

This place is a shadow of what is once was. Maybe ownership changed?? Ordered $40 worth of take out and it is bland garbage. I ordered 2 dishes, one at the hottest level of 5 and one at 3. Nothing is spicy. Nothing has flavor. Red curry looks like veggies with alfredo but zero flavor. Fresh rolls are a joke. Not sure I will give this place another try. Disappointing..
