Jarrod, Steven & Harry were awesome. Delicious pizza. Fast. Iced tea was wonderful
Services very friendly and food was great!
Absolute mental travel day yesterday and was deeply in need of some of TLC. Along came Kiki, who cooked me up one of the tastiest pies I’ve had in ages. Restored my day, and possibly even my trip. Thank you, Pala Pizza. Thank you, Kiki.
I visited PALA at the airport and had an exceptional experience thanks to Kaylon Myers. The first time I came in, he recommended a specific vodka for my Bloody Mary, and it was absolutely delicious. He also suggested a pizza that ended up being perfect. I’m back at the airport today and returned to PALA — and once again, Kaylon provided amazing service. He remembered me, was friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations again. It’s rare to find this level of customer care, especially in an airport setting. PALA is lucky to have Kaylon! I highly recommend stopping here if you want great food, great drinks, and outstanding service.
Good seating area to plug in and use laptop. US Open was on TV. Pizza was Neapolitan style and very good. They have Margherita, Sausage, Pepperoni, Pesto options, as well as Paninis, and cheesecake. I thought $22 for the Sausage Pizza and add-on of Caesar salad was well worth the price compared to other places I've eaten in IAH. Not sure why the restaurants here push you to order in person rather than through the QR Code, but I opted for the QR Code, which worked well.
Very friendly service from Doty (?) and what a good pizza. Atmosphere is an airport terminal, but it's fine. Loud music on one side and much quieter on the other side so you can choose your preference.
This was a great surprise. Our expectations for airport food are close to the bottom and this over-delivered on every level. Friendly attentive service, excellent food, comfortable environment with space for luggage and charging ports. The pizza was prepared and cooked right in front of us and it was delicious. The side salads were also generous and tasty as well.
One of the best restaurants in this airport. Pizza is well made with a nice crunch, evenly browned, and slightly yeasty and doughy inside. It's somewhat of a cross of mostly neopolitan and a touch of Detroit style. I liked it. Cocktails were expertly crafted. Service was great; friendly and efficient. Will return whenever I'm flying from the C terminal.
The pizzas are made right in front of you with fresh ingredients. You can even see them bring in fresh vegetables and prep them. The pizzas were medium, you could not pick a size, but were surprisingly filling. If you're used to eating budget pizzas, the price will seem steep. If you eat at pizzerias then the prices are no different. While not as good as those restaurants, it's a lot better than the major chains and the best airport pizza I have had.
Yummy pizza. We got the margarita with some pepperoni on it to satisfy my boys craving. I had a draft beer while waiting. The pizza is made in front of u so fast… I hadn’t even finished my beer when it was ready. Thank u for the hood and quick service.
Delicious pizza made fresh in front of you. Cocktail options with ability to take your own order and checkout to speed up process if you’re in a hurry. 4/5 stars because it took almost 30 mins to get my pizza and it appeared staff just waited and sat on their phones for a while before bothering to make my order. I had to race to my flight and was one of the last to board because of that delay.
I sat down as they loaded my gate. Was debating on getting a drink while I gathered my thoughts. Guy walked up and if I was going to eat, I said no. He really said it’s a restaurant and told me I could not sit there. I understand he probably does that all day long. They literally had 1-3 people in the area. Tact matters. I will definitely chose businesses that have tact.
Must say thank goodness for me looking at your QR code for prices. Decided to scan it first and see pricing to get me a long New Belgium Voodoo Ranger and of course your price is $11 for 16oz and and additional $4.00 for 23 oz to decide to order it myself at the bar and of course your bartender charged me $23 for the 23oz. I acknowledged it to a female worker of the pricing and of course the male bartender came to fix the issue and told him I’ll give a 15% tip after seeing that he was over charging me. I wonder how many times flyers like myself if in a rush have been taken advantage of. Never received my change back from $20 that was given but thought I’d shared my experience of how your employees are over charging customers like myself for more tip money in there end. Dishonesty is not my thing. Beware with this place and please use QR code.
Ordered a pesto pizza. They charged me for a pepperoni, brought out one. Told them it’s for my kids and they won’t eat pepperoni. Shook their head at me. Returned 30 minutes later with a horrible pesto pizza that looked botched. No refund or apology. I was still charged for the pepperoni pizza. Will not be back
Me and my son ordered a pizza, it’s just a quick fix before the flight, the water asked me what I want, I said just a pizza and cup for water, he automatically put 18% tip on it, make me kind uncomfortable already, we are not large group, why charge 18% without ask my permission, BTW, I usually tip 20%, sorry for this guy, ten he left, totally forget my water, then I have to ask him, he bought me two cup water taste like soap water😓😓😓, was terrible. Pizza was good, but nothing special. Service was none, or if you order some real drinks will make the server happy, anyway not recommending this place
Terrible service and set up. Wait staff unfriendly, unattentive. If they don't "see you," they expect you to scan a code to order. Guy working today sees me sit down, walks past me, no hello. Yeah, see ya. For the prices of what you are serving and basic courtesy is a bridge too far, it's not worth your time or money.
Pala has good pizza which is a good value for an airport. However their soup or salad is something to be desired. My wife ordered the Tomato Basil soup which is presented in a beautiful bowl but is less than a cup of soup for $14.99. When we asked for a little more soup atleast filled to the lower edge of the bowl we were told they can’t do it because someone would get fired. We were asked if we would like to speak to the manager but alas the manager did not come to see us instead they sent another person acting as manager which we found out later wasn’t the manager. He told us that it is the chef’s decision how much soup to provide. All in all a very negative experience for us.
