Pluckers Houston Reviews
We go here for lunch periodically and it’s terrific. The wings are jumbo, and taste great. The lunch specials are plenty of food. Service has always been good. Occasionally music is a little loud, but they turn it down when we ask. Definitely a good place to have in your lunch rotation. Here’s those jumbo wings, Jamango Jerk flavor mmmmmm…
Thankful that this place could accommodate our party of 11. Pluckers is known for their chicken but if you get the chance to go back try the nachos or the fried mac and cheese- delicious! Parking is hectic so you can either ride around the parking lot and hope for someone to be coming out or look for street parking. Overall really nice experience and will definitely come back!
Had a very good date night at pluckers. The service was amazing, from our server Charity. She was quick to take our orders and fulfill them, as well as very friendly.
Had a great experience! Our waitress Charity made the whole experience even better! Super friendly, fast, and attentive! Drinks were always full and communication was on point!
Hector the server was very good he made sure we had all our stuff ready and hot, his vibe was so good I enjoyed having him also what happened to the buy 10 wings and get 5 free on Monday im not coming anymore cause of that
GABIN has yet been one of the best servers. definitely deserves a raise or better yet a better position his charisma is soo welcoming. Best food as always
I left the White Linen party almost midnight and Pluckers were one of the only few restaurants that was open at the time. And that's a plus! I like spending money on those who really care to be there when we are stranded and have nowhere to go and eat .... while searching for a restaurant that would cater to us I saw a few unwelcoming posts, really saddening. I can't understand places who visibly have posting such as " bathroom are for customers only", they should remove that. Anyways I was glad to relax a bit in the cool and welcoming atmosphere at Pluckers, -outside it was humid and hot-and enjoyed some well made delicious food! Yesss it was early morning next morning, my birthday and the place was still heavily crowded with friendly people just having a blast!
I went with my 2 girlfriends and loved the place. I have a very high spice level but still couldn't eat the "fire in the hole" wings. The other 2 sauces were Garlic parmesan which was mild and chipotle something, but that was sweet + spicy, not too spicy though. I will definitely visit another time for trying out the Buffalo sauce. Also, they usually have a long waiting, like we had to wait for 2 hours before we got our table. Therefore, you may want to call up ahead and enquire about your reservation time. We ordered a brownie too but it wasn't as good as the wings, too sweet.
This was my first time coming here, Gavin was my waiter he was awesome and made it a great experience. I recommend the Cajun and spicy garlic Parmesan. They have an outdoor dining area as well!
Our experience was great! Charity took care of us and did a great job. Told us about the specials and the appetizers she recommended and was awesome.
Charity was the sweetest server and she made sure that we were comfortable and heard all of my requests. Will definitely be coming back and she convinced me to sign up which will get me free food. Definitely coming back !
All around great experience here. Brought the family in on a busy Sunday night and charity made sure to keep coming back and making sure we enjoyed our experience. I’ll definitely be back especially since she told me about all the weekday deals.
Great wings, burgers and drinks. Joining the club for $20 give you free food everytime you visit, free meal on your birthday and other perks. Pluckers has become a staple and it's a must try. Waits can get quite long typically on the weekends as well as parking can get quite full. Everyone is friendly though. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Houston. This last time I went I decided to get something healthier and opted for the naked wing basket. I believe it had close to 100g protein , good on the cals and about 600-700g of sodium. I never thought pluckers would have healthy options but let's be real. You come to pluckers for good food. Not healthy food.
Great Pluckers location! We were seated super fast when we asked to be seated indoors. Barely waited before they called our names. Rachel was super sweet and helpful. She checked in on us several times to make sure we were ok and had everything we needed. Good and drinks came out super quickly and delicious! We love this location!
Charity was a great server! She was always checking up on us and made sure to ask if everything was good. Hire more people like her!
The food was amazing as always but our waitress Kianna D was a superb waitress. She was very attentive in all our needs and checked up on us constantly and made us feel very comfortable. So now every time I come I want her as my waitress!! 🤘🏽🤘🏽
This place reminds me of Hooters. I love the vibe. We Sat at the bar once a spot opened up. It was crowded that night due to the baseball game. The chicken and drinks were delicious. I love the different flavors for the chicken.Exceptional service from who I believe the manager, London. Although it was super busy he found time to make sure everyone was ok. He walked around and ask if anyone needed anything.
This was my first time trying Pluckers! The staff was amazing, the atmosphere was fun and food was delicious! I enjoyed that we were given a free appetizer for our first time. Friend pickels were delicious and the queso was to die for. Wings were perfect and crispy and enjoyed the mani options of sauces and dry ribs!!!! Definitely recommend.
We haven't been here in a while since it's always packed. Our server was awesome. I forgot his name. We ate so much I even broke my healthy routine of eating lol. We ordered Mozzarella sticks (yes they're that big), chicken bites with sweet potato fries and loaded tots. Bf says let's get dessert and OMG fried Oreos just like the HLSR.
Our server, Gavin, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the menu, he gave great recommendations and timed everything just right. It’s rare to find someone so professional yet personable — Gavin truly elevated the experience. Between the incredible food and the outstanding service, this spot is an easy 5-star. We’ll definitely be back — and asking for Gavin!
Genuinely solid place for some wings, although it’s a sports bar, I come just for wings. Be prepared to not find parking though, it’s a headache. Especially when it’s a full house. To me it’s worth the wait and the food makes up for all that hassle. I recommend this place if you want some good wings at a decent price. I’ve came here for that past couple years and not once have they disappointed me.
Our server Angelina was very quick and sweet!! she allowed us to have time in between ordering and eating! thank you Pluckers and Angelina!
Came to the Pluckers off Shepard (near I-10) with two of my closest friends and had an incredible experience. Our server, Gavin, was outstanding—attentive, kind, and full of great energy. He even surprised us with an appetizer on the house! His presence and genuine care turned a simple dinner into a truly memorable moment. Much love and gratitude for great service done right.
Fantastic service! Juan and Kelly really made everything great, my order didn’t come out how I wanted at first but it was fixed and I’m a happy patron. The wings weren’t as big as I thought, I was thinking they had genetically modified chickens to have super big legs and wings. They’re just regular wings, but big ones at that. I didn’t know I had to specify that I wanted flats and not all drums, but Kelly fixed it and Juan gave me a beer for waiting so long. The gochugang were spicier than I thought they would be, but they had two pepper marks so that’s my fault for dying at the bar. Anyways fantastic service great wings but make sure you specify what you want and you’re good.
Always really great service this time with Gavin in charge of our table. We went during trivia Wednesday and it was a fun atmosphere. Always carpool bc parking is rough. I wish they would expand their parking lot. Otherwise, great service in here.
Great experience both times my family has been here. It is a bit pricey but its so worth it. The food is great and well seasoned. Drinks are great too and also the kids meals. My whole family enjoyed our visit. There is a wait during the dinner rush so we come early in the day. Overall this place is great. Highly recommend Jess, she was an excellent waitress. 2/23/2021: Decided to come here for our monthly outing since the pandemic and I have to say, Pluckers is going above and beyond with customer service and making sure there is social distancing and temperature checks at the door. All of these precautions makes me and my family feel safe. Josh was an amazing server, made sure our food and drink order was correct. Overall great atmosphere and great tasting food. First time trying the Holy Macaroni and it was delicious. Also a plus that they have sweet potato fries.
Kindest server in the floor. Her smile, her energy, her effort to make me feel welcomed and at home was amazing. Service was fast and the host were also very kind. Amazing time!! Thank you Charity!
Gavin deserves a shout out for outstanding service! He’s always smiling, helpful, and makes sure everything is perfect. Service is fast and on point every time. Thank you, Gavin, for being awesome!
Pluckers was a treat! We stopped in on a Saturday night, and dang, it was packed. There was a 20 minute wait. But after that, we were seated and somewhat quickly served. The wings and Buffalo bites were what we ordered, and on their own were fine, but there is a huge variety of sauced to choose from, so our taste buds were definitely taken care of. Because of the sheer number of the sauces, there is something for everyone to have and enjoy. As for the atmosphere, there are TV's with live sports games every which way, so in between conversation there is never a dull moment. All in all, Pluckers Stafford is a great restaurant and I will be coming back soon!
Went last night for dinner after the fireworks on our way home. Was our very first time trying it out. They didn't fail, vast amount of different wing flavors & food options. Tall beer is huge can't complain on that. Jasmine our waitress did a awesome job as well very polite and professional. Definitely would recommend.
Yummy food! Frida was amazing, and kept checking in every so often to see if we needed anything. Our food came out super fast and in good portions! Definitely will be back!
My son has befriended our server Gavin & he has become our family’s most requested server ever since! If you go to the location on Shepherd, I highly recommend you ask if he’s available he will not disappoint! Best service ever! Our family enjoys coming to visit as often as we can!
Can't go wrong here... Parking can be a slight challenge at peak times, but it's worth it! Try the beef philly with tots or chips made fresh in house. Excellent upbeat service and atmosphere!
My little family had lunch here yesterday and had a great experience. Clean and speedy restaurant and the most friendly server Gavin I think his name was. Gavin was super kind to us and our 5 year old. We had a great time! Service was everything! Thanks Gavin!
Ahri was an amazing waitress 😊 I had a party 17 and what I thought was chaotic she made very easy from the seating to the ordering of the food. Thank you for the patience. You did an amazing job. Great service. My daughter had a great 18th bday dinner
Kianna was the most amazing host/waitress. She was patient, attentive and welcoming. She helped me make all the best bad decisions ever. 🤣 I mixed all types of seasonings from spicy lemon pepper, garlic parm and mango chipotle all because of her. I so loved her professionalism and her menu knowledge for my first Pluckers experience. I will most definitely be back and asking specifically for her. Pluckers, you really have a diamond in the ruff. Thanks for an awesome first!!!!
Came on a busy Wednesday night and we were seated quickly and tended to right away by their manager, London. Charity was our server and she was attentive, fun and down to earth. She constantly checked on us and made sure we felt taken care of.
London the manager is one of the best I’ve ran into in this location . I’ve gone to different locations of pluckers and so far he’s the best manager. gave us great services took care of us , I come here every tuesdays because kids eat free & I bring my family & my kids & Hannah accident charge me for my kids and the manager London he was professional to fix Hannah mistakes she forgot it was Tuesday. & never experienced this great service . Other than that she’s a good server . Really appreciate yall work I’ll totally be returning next Tuesday’ 💯❤️
First time at Pluckers! Overall good experience, and lots of flavor choices for the wings. The wings were slightly overcooked, so harder than we liked. The fried macaroni was yummy and the waffles and cheese was very filling. Charity was our server and she was great, so nice and personable.
Pluckers Wing Bar has been a staple in my life since my high school days, and I'm pleased to say it has consistently maintained its quality throughout the years. The food remains delicious, and their extensive wing menu offers something for everyone. One of the standout features is the amazing staff. They are not only friendly but also efficient, adding to the overall positive dining experience. It's also clear that the management at Pluckers cares about their customers and their reputation. This dedication to quality and service shines through every visit. In summary, Pluckers Wing Bar is a true gem for wing enthusiasts. With great food, friendly staff, and attentive management, it's a reliable choice for a satisfying meal and a testament to their commitment to excellence.
Best wings in Houston. I go there at least 3 times a month to grab a beer(s) and wings. They are pet friendly (outdoor patio). They have trivia on Wednesdays, you might want to avoid if you’re not participating due to noise. They have a legit loyalty program so you can get freebies, discounts and they also have sweet weekly specials. Check it out, great place to eat and hang out with friends. It’s a popular spot so parking could be hard to find, would recommend car pooling. If you’re into sauces make sure to order your wings extra wet.
Outstanding customer service by Lassia, authentic flavor and family friendly atmosphere.
Enjoyed our family outing yesterday at the Heights Pluckers. It was pretty full in the dining area and bar, so we opted for the patio. It was cold outside, but they had it closed in and the heaters on. ❤️ Our server was very attentive, checked on us often even though we were out on the patio and the place was crowded. Food was amazing... fried cheese was so good, and that cheese pull 😋 🤌 double meat burger is big enough to be shared. The jumbo chicken strips are huge! Its a little pricey, but portions are worth the cost. Be careful with the Irish Trash Can... it will sneak up on you! 😁
I had a great experience at Pluckers.. The food was really good and came out fast. Our waitress took great care of us, checked in regularly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was an enjoyable visit
I had such a great experience at Pluckers thanks to Gavin! He was super friendly, attentive, and made sure our table had everything we needed the entire time. He checked in often without being overbearing and gave great menu recommendations. Our food came out hot and fresh, and Gavin’s positive attitude really made the visit even better. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers. Definitely one of the best servers I’ve had—thank you, Gavin!
Staff were very helpful and friendly! My waitress was great, she made sure I was well taken care of and helped me to connect with wifi. The food at Pluckers is ALWAYS great! Spicy ranch and Bakers Gold are my go to; the sweet tea is to die for. Thanks Pluckers for a great experience, yet again!
10/10 Experience If you’re headed to Pluckers Wing Bar, ask for Gavin! hands down one of the best servers I’ve ever had, anywhere. From the moment we sat down, Gavin brought the perfect mix of professionalism, personality, and hustle. He knew the menu inside and out, offered great recommendations (seriously, his wing sauce pairing game is elite), and checked in often without ever being intrusive. Drinks stayed full, food came out hot and fast, and not once did we feel like we were waiting on anything. What really stood out? Gavin’s energy. Friendly, upbeat, and genuinely seemed to care that we were having a great time. You can tell he takes pride in what he does, and it absolutely makes a difference. Bottom line: the wings were fire but Gavin made the night. If every restaurant had a Gavin, dining out would be a 10/10 every time. Thanks again, Gavin! you crushed it!
Usually avoid this place due to past issues with service/food but didn’t wanna drive all the way to katy. I was pleasantly surprised on a friday night as I had great service . My server was Iza and she was amazing. She was fast, made sure to check up on us, staying on top of refills or anything we needed. Also sat on the patio and the songs they were playing was a vibe. Very surprised and satisfied overall.
Charity was a delight! She had great comraderie with the table and was quick to get anything we needed. Atmosphere was nice, and the food (and drinks!) all tasted great. We'll be back again and asking for her specifically. :)
Pluckers never disappoints! The food was fantastic (as always) and the service was amazing. Miranda was actually on her very first day and she still did absolutely phenomenal super friendly, attentive, and made our visit even better. Ari was so helpful, patient, & kind not to mention a wonderful trainer. We’re regulars here for a reason, and tonight just reminded us why. Highly recommend!
Had an incredible experience at Pluckers tonight! From start to finish, everything ran smoothly and the atmosphere was lively yet comfortable. Charity was my server, and she absolutely exceeded expectations—friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. I also had the pleasure of speaking with the manager, London, who clearly had the team and restaurant running seamlessly. You can tell there’s strong leadership and pride in the service here. Definitely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while!
I had an outstanding experience at Pluckers thanks to our server, Juan. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect—super attentive, friendly, and quick with service. He made great recommendations and kept our table taken care of the whole time. It’s rare to find someone so professional yet warm and personable. Juan truly made our visit memorable, and I’ll definitely be asking for him next time.
Chris attended us today and he was an absolute delight! Super sweet and attentive as soon as we sat down. Our food came out within less than 10 min from when we ordered and it was so good! Unfortunately we totally forgot today was trivia night so it was a bit loud but over all a really good night!
We took my husband out for his Father’s Day reward and he wanted to complete his burger challenge so he ordered the Gut Grenade…. It was super good and huge, also came with a 24 oz beer, and loaded cheesy tots or waffle fries all for $18.50! We joined the waitlist on the app only to arrive to find we were not on their waitlist.. the host checked and double checked and saw my app and location were correct so they went out of the way to make sure we were sat which was amazing, especially it being Father’s Day. Our server was busy and working hard and gave great, friendly service. Even though it was super loud and kind of chaotic they really had some all stars working and keeping the team going!

Literally love pluckers so much, they have great drinks & wings. All the servers are so attentive & friendly no matter how busy it is. It's always worth the wait!
pluckers never fails! Their food is always great and their service is equally great! The ambiance is always so enjoyable.
The best wings in Houston. The biggest in town and the sauce options are awesome. Always good when I come@
Pluckers is always a solid choice for wings. This location can get very busy so parking can sometimes be an issue and the wait can be long. If you are willing to sit in the heated patios outside, the wait can be shorter. I prefer to sit on the patios because the inside is way too loud. They put the TV volumes on max volume every time I'm there. Ask for celery with your wings, it's complimentary but you need to ask for it. Their fried pickles are amazing with this slightly sweet crust.
Was nice (we were craving lemon pepper wings were outstanding. The boneless wings were ok, as was the sides. We had a wait staff change mid meal. Both waiters were very attentive and didn’t get the first persons name but second waiter was Galven he was friendly and helpful.
Overall, good. Went at 11pm on a Thursday. Got seated right away. In & out within the hour prior to closing at midnight. Location: got to by gps. Has a parking lot with plenty of room. Parking wasn't a problem for us. Atmosphere: family friendly atmosphere with a sports bar style decor with large mounted tvs playing various games. Not too loud. Tables, booths & bar seating available. Their booths are huge/long! Smelled like good food inside. Well lit. Service: Very friendly from the host stand to our waitress. Checked on regularly. Able to discuss the menu. Gave us the best combo prices for our meals (skipped the combo & ordered a half size of appetizer loaded fries). Provided good timing notifications for last call items as they got closer to closing. Food: wings, salads, fries, pickles, burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs. We ordered 5 bone-in dry rub lemon pepper & 5 bone-in Dr pepper bbq. Abs delicious! Wings were hot & the seasoning on both were perfect (not too salty, not over dressed, etc). I will say the wings were a little too cooked and on the verge of being dry had they went any longer. The loaded fries appetizer came with jalapeno, cheese, waffle fries, bacon bits and sour cream- these are great with ranch. Price: not horrible. For the 10 wings, it was about $15 & the fries were about $7. Overall, not bad. Def hit the spot after a concert. Friendly, easy to order and pretty quick service.
Pluckers It is my favorite sport and bar. Although I'm not a fan of any sport😂. Wings Basket It is my favorite dish, it is always 4 large pieces of chicken breast and you accompany it with the size of your preference. Lemonade is super refreshing. In addition to having a bar with many options. The parking lot is large but perhaps not enough for the number of people who visit (depending on the day you go) but that is already a problem with restaurants in the area. The staff is quite friendly and attentive, I've never had any problem with that. My only problem and that I don't understand is because if you order an extra side there is a charge, for example in my case I ask for the sauce on the side sometimes I need an additional one (since they only give one) and they charge for it. overall it's a good place to visit.
Stopped in last Wednesday and was throughly satisfied. FYI Wednesday nights are trivia night so if that’s your thing this place would be perfect for you. I would suggest coming early because it was crowded and we were originally told the wait would be 1 hour to an hour and 30 minutes. Luckily, we were able to find seats at the bar, so this was not the case. The food was really tasty. I got the spicy lemon pepper wings and my mom got the vampire wings. Really good but I must say neither were spicy. If you want a real kick consider flavors with 3 flames or more. Overall a great visit.
Be prepared to wait during peak hours. This place gets crowded and you will have to wait 20+min and have to valet (it's complimentary). It's fun to join the trivia but if you are there and not participating it will get annoying real quick with how loud it gets. Food portions were big and prices were reasonable. I was very disappointed in the grilled cheese. The menu really talked it up but it was your basic Mrs. Baird's bread slices with 2 basic American cheese slices.
The service provided for our group of twelve was excellent, and the food, particularly the gut buster, was enjoyable. However, it would have been helpful if we had been informed that the tip and additional charges for large parties were included in the bill.
My experience was great! The waitress that took care me and my friends was very nice and very attentive. Food was amazing. Texans won! Parking was horrible though we waited an hour to finally park but overall a great experience!
The first time here I've been recomend to come till i finally did. It was ok... as per my waitress/waiter, Dalia was a very awesome person who gave good suggestions, recommendations, and awesome personality. She was very polite and made us feel welcomed to the place it was a good experience for everyone on my table. The evening was very overwhelming for a Friday night but other than that it was good I yet need to try your wings on bone but I will be back knowing I drove 5 1/2 hours and remebered this place. Was on a buisness trip and Pluckers popped in my head and gave it a go. Thx
Great Server and great service, even when they are busy! Always make sure you join wait list, especially during weekends!

Kinda in the middle. But with my experience that is not always a bad thing. I didn't feel as if I was settling when it came to every experience. Just didn't hit the marks I was ready for. Would give another chance
So today I arrived about 4:15 and it was especially packed. That's fine, I understand a bit of a wait, I was at the bar btw, just me. Tell me why it took 35 minutes for someone to bring me a menu and ask if I needed something to drink. And mind you they passed me probably 100 times in that time period, sitting there with not even a water. A manager even went behind there, was directly in front of me and nothing. Never in my life have I waited 35 minutes or even half that at a bar for a drink, absolutely terrible.
Food is subpar, customer service is okay, but not the greatest. \nThe wait wasn't the greatest, but, kinda like weird.
The reason I am giving pluckers Three stars was because of the parking space out in the parking lot it was filled up and it was not big enough for more cars too park. Plus there was some people c…

So fresh you have to tell them to hold the feathers. My wing order came with a fried feather. Brought it to the attention of the server who then told the manager. The manager only offered to have my order remade for the chance to eat more feathers. This has never happened anywhere before but it was treated like it was normal here. I've been coming here since they took over the property back with it was Maggie Ritas, I can't say that I'll ever be back at the moment.
Huge Pluckers fan, but yesterday’s visit caught me off guard. I was seated right away, and the server was great — she got everything I needed, checked on me, and provided good service. However, when it came time to pay, she asked why I didn’t leave a tip. Don’t get me wrong, I do like to tip, but being asked directly felt uncomfortable. She said, “Was my service not great? Is there anything I could do?” because she didn’t see a tip. As a customer, that really surprised me. I told her I had tipped, but I don’t think it’s something a server should ask out of the blue. Overall though, the food was great.
If you’re a girl and want to get hit on by the bartender for 7 to 10 minutes on end and have everybody else waiting for their drink, then come to this bar. Waiting almost 40 minutes to get asked if I want food/drinks was CRAZY. Winded up not even ordering food because of how aggravated I was. Jackson all in all consolidated the experience and made it better, but Marco needs to be counseled on his customer service or better trained.
Our server was nice and patient but I think she was not attentive enough. I'm not sure if she had tables elsewhere but ours is the only one I saw her at and I don't think it makes sense that she'd have had tables in a completely differently section. Food was cold not once, but twice. I'm appreciative they tried to make it right but it came out more or less the same the second time. The food temp issue is probably because it sat in the window and nobody ran the food so it was set aside, both times unfortunately. Bad on the server for letting it sit so long, but worse on the team as a whole for not helping each other out. Very sad. Making that worse, the manager didn't even come to address it or assist, but I did overhear the manager addressing another table for a similar issue. Perhaps that is on the server for not communicating. Regarding taste, the ranch was the tastiest thing. The wings were paradoxical. Drenched in sauce but had hardly any flavor. So you get all the mess without the taste.
Came to Pluckers for lunch and the ambience wasn’t bad, honestly the emptiest I’ve ever seen a Pluckers. Our server was pretty good so no complaints there, but when we first walked in nobody greeted us at all. We were standing there for a while and the staff at the bar definitely saw us but didn’t say anything like “hey just a minute.” My husband even turned to me and asked if I just wanted to leave, but I was really craving the fried cheese because I’ve been in a cheese mood lately. We got two soft drinks and the fried cheese blocks which were fine. Not as good as Big City Wings but they’re huge and worth the money if you just want to eat cheese. My husband got his usual 10–15 piece wings and I normally do the same, but I didn’t feel like getting my hands dirty today so I ordered the boneless wings basket. That was a big mistake. I’m not sure who their vendor is or if they check the meat before battering and frying it, but I regret not opening them up at the restaurant. I ended up just eating my tater tots and getting full, which was fine since the portions are big and I planned to eat the wings later. When I reheated them tonight I used a plastic fork and knife to cut them into little pieces because it’s almost bedtime and I didn’t want to get messy. Thank goodness I did because I wasn’t even looking closely, just dipping pieces into blue cheese while watching TikTok, and I bit into something that did NOT feel like chicken. It tasted weird and kind of rancid. I looked down and saw what looked like a cyst in the chicken strip. I’m honestly horrified. I spit it out immediately. I love blue cheese so for me to react like that was crazy. I’m so disappointed in this location. Pluckers is known for big portions but these boneless pieces were literally the size of whole chicken breasts and I’m thinking they use a lower quality vendor or don’t cut the chicken down enough to catch stuff like this. Between the lack of greeting when we walked in and then finding that in my food, this whole experience was just unfortunate. I’m still grossed out writing this at 9 pm. I wrote this review on my yelp page as well 😭. Please y’all cut open your chicken before consuming it. I’m lowkey screaming rn.
I Love Pluckers And Have Been To Many Locations And This Is The Worst One I’ve Ever Been To. Idk If I Caught Them Ona Bad Day But This Was A Terrible Experience. Our Server Was Nonexistent. Others Were Rude. The Food Was Good But Service Terrible Especially After We Asked Not To Be Seated By The Bathroom. Won’t Come Back And I’ll Warn Others.
If i could give this place zero stars i would. My friend and i went on a Monday night and the wait was over an hour long. We were seated an hour and fifteen minutes into our wait and waited an …
The server was very nice but he was absent when we needed him i had to ask the girl bringing us the drinks. We paid in two separate tabs and clicked for the receipt to be printed and none was given…
Second time in two weeks I received plain wings without sauce / dry rub via Uber order. The odds of that are crazy.. or this happens to people constantly..
Getting to the restaurant me and my family of four, we didn’t have to wait to long for a table which was good. The host said we’re cleaning a table for y’all we said okay. Hostess sat us in a booth, …
Definitely won’t be back to this location. Host didn’t want to sit us because she was reserving the OPEN table for her friends. If you are coming with your kids you will not be priority to them and it’s very evident. Just drive the extra few minutes to the memorial city location.
We always come to this location but lately the disappointment is real, we came in today they didn’t even bother mentioning to us that they would be sitting us outside when we first checked in , then we asked if we could be sat inside and the only response was to rejoin the waitlist and that it would be up to an hour or more to be reseated. In general service has been bad the past couple of times coming here.
absolutely never any parking no matter what day it is, came here for a delivery order and waited 15 minutes on it and still wasn't done. doesn't count how many minutes it was already placed probably total 30 and still wasn't out. don't come here if you value not only your time but having a place to park
This location has gone downhill. The parking is so small and ridiculously horrible. The food took forever to be served. The server was too worried about the game and scores than if we had refilled drinks or if we received our food. The food was so cold when it reached our table that my husband's burger buns fell apart from how soggy the bun got from sitting for so long. We will NEVER return to this location. I'd recommend others to steer clear of this location. Not worth any dollar spent. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Overpriced wings. Jumbo wings used to be meaty but now all you just get baby wings yet you are paying premium wing prices. Wings will be overcooked or undercooked. Lathering wings in sauce can’t hide the inconsistencies. Some servers have attitudes. Flat drinks. Parking is a disaster. Spend your money elsewhere.
Very disappointing experience. This was my first time coming with my family and it did not live up to the hype. We waited an hour for our food, and when it arrived the wings were cold and dry, and the burger was bland and cold. It was so bad that I had a party of 20 people planning to come, but I told them not to after seeing the long wait and food quality. Definitely not the experience we expected.
Went to this location with some friends & sat at Indias table. Worst customer service I’ve experienced, order was messed up & took her forever to bring us anything. It was almost as if she was doing it on purpose. We asked for her name & she refused to give it. So when paying, I asked for the receipt to get her name, and she also refused to give us that too. I had to get her name from the host. So unprofessional, will not be coming back to this location again. Food was great tho
While the service at location is pretty good for the most part, this particular location is dirty as hell.. Bathrooms are always nasty. I was there for dinner tonight and bones from the previous party’s wings were underneath an empty table in visible sight. The wait staff sat another party there and no one ever bothered cleaning up bones. Absolutely disgusting!
We had a very disturbing experience tonight at Pluckers. While we were inside eating, our vehicle was broken into in the parking lot. When we walked outside, our car window had been shattered and belongings were taken. The manager initially came out, took my information, and looked at the vehicle, which I appreciated at the time. We then waited outside for the police to arrive. While standing there, I suddenly heard another loud crash — another window shattering. I immediately ran toward the sound and watched a white Tesla with white rims speed out of the parking lot. They had just broken into a second vehicle. I ran back inside the restaurant to urgently notify the manager so the owner of that vehicle could be alerted right away. Her response was that “they will see it when they come out.” I was honestly shocked. I explained that the owner may have just arrived and had no idea their vehicle had been targeted, and that they deserved to be notified immediately. There was no urgency or concern shown. What makes this worse is it became very clear this is not a new issue at this location. The way it was handled felt routine — like break-ins in their parking lot are expected. There was no announcement made, no attempt to identify the owner, no effort to warn guests sitting inside that vehicles were actively being targeted while families were dining. We didn’t just lose property — we lost any sense of safety. Customers should not be sitting inside a restaurant while criminals are actively breaking car windows outside and the staff treats it as a normal occurrence. I understand a business cannot control crime in a city, but they absolutely can show urgency, concern, and proactive care for the safety of their customers. Tonight, that did not happen. This was an extremely upsetting experience and completely changed how we feel about coming back to this location.
Where do I begin!!! I was ready for Wings, beer, and Sunday football at the all-famous Plucker's! I was so disappointed! The appetizer was fried pickles, no flavor, yucky batter(Taste like OLD oil), and cold, they were horrible. I also ordered spicy lemon pepper wings and received a goopy sloppy mess. The wings were lukewarm, it took about an hour to arrive at the table, ridiculous. The Waitress was MIA. The restroom was filthy! The beer was flat. The only plus was there were tvs everywhere with several game's on. Upon leaving there were at least 5-7 kitchen staff members maybe cooks most in black attire smoking. Maybe this is why people can't get their meals on time! Poor experience. We will not be returning. ✌️
My family and I love coming here to enjoy watching the game and eating wings here. Unfortunately tonight was the biggest disappointment. After we got our food our drinks took 10-15 minutes our beer and frozen margarita had been sitting at the bar where we can see them just sitting there. Our server only came to our table 3 times. Once to take our order, second to get our drink orders and lastly to take our payment. We had to order drinks from the bar otherwise we wouldn’t be able have any beverages. After we spoke to the manager Zarai she completely dismissed us and basically said there was nothing she could do. I ordered a dessert with the manager. And let our server know and she made it apparent that there was no dessert rang up. It’s apparent the manager clearly didn’t want to take any responsibility or reassure us of their service.
If you come here expect to wait 10-20 minutes before you get a server . Manager looked right into my eyes when I was trying to get her attention and just walked away . 0-10 don’t come to this location . Much better service at the pasadena or league city location . Trust me it’s worth the drive . But shoutout to Marco the only server who went up to us .
This was my second visit to this location, and unfortunately the service was again extremely disappointing. It was a slow Saturday evening around 6:30 PM, yet three employees were standing at the bar engaged in conversation. Two of them turned around, made eye contact with me, and then ignored me while continuing to talk. When I finally asked for service, they appeared visibly annoyed. While waiting for my food, the young employee handling drink orders repeatedly stared at me, which felt uncomfortable and highly unprofessional. At no point did I see a manager walking the floor or checking on guests. Overall, the lack of attention, professionalism, and basic customer service made this a very unpleasant experience.
I arrived at Pluckers at 10:00pm expecting a quick late-night bite. I enjoyed my appetizer without issue and then ordered 5 wings cooked extra extra crispy and specifically asked that they be cooked for 22 minutes, as a manager previously instructed me to do to ensure they come out properly. Forty minutes later, my wings arrived soft. Not slightly underdone but soft. I didn’t touch them and immediately let my server know they were not cooked enough. After already being there over an hour, I then waited an additional 50 minutes before receiving a second batch that was finally cooked the way I originally requested. My wings were brought out at 11:50pm… as the restaurant was closing. I had to take them to go because the dining room was literally shutting down. Two hours. For five wings. What’s more frustrating is that this hasn’t been a one-time issue. It’s been happening consistently during my recent visits. I decided it was time to speak to a manager, not to get free food, but because this pattern puts servers in a terrible position when kitchen instructions aren’t followed. When I asked to speak to a manager on my way out, I was told it would be a 10-minute wait because they were busy performing closing procedures. That told me everything I needed to know. When a frustrated customer is told closing duties take priority over addressing their experience, the message is clear: the customer isn’t the priority. I waited anyway. Past closing time. Adriana finally approached and delivered a flat, emotionless “I’m sorry about that,” in the same tone someone might use when confirming a coffee order. No urgency. No ownership. No concern. In that moment, it all clicked. The service I’ve been experiencing lately feels completely on-brand with that level of management engagement. To be clear: Eric and the other bartender (I believe his name is Giovanni) are outstanding. Eric even comped my appetizer before I ever spoke to the manager because he knows I’m a frequent guest and has seen this pattern himself. Their professionalism is the only redeeming quality keeping this location afloat. I declined Adriana’s offer of a gift card because at this point I’m not sure I even want an incentive to return. And the irony? This entire experience unfolded while I sat watching two hours’ worth of promotional content highlighting long, successful careers within the organization. It’s hard to reconcile those success stories with the reality happening on the floor. I’m genuinely disappointed in this location. Aside from Eric and the other bartender, there isn’t much here giving me a reason to come back. Two hours. Five wings. Zero urgency from management. That about sums it up.
Waitress is nice but this location is by far the filthiest I have ever been to. We were sat at a booth that was filthy so we refused it. She took us to another booth which was just as dirty so we sat ourself at the table. The table was filthy. The waitress wiped it down for us. I went to the restroom and the floor/toilets was DISGUSTING. Makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like and hygiene of the employees. If the public areas are filthy, I can only imagine the areas that can’t be seen by customers. After everything, neither booth was cleaned and the host proceeded to sit the next customer at the booth. Lazy is an understatement. Not only was the establishment filthy- the order was brought out wrong. Order honey bbq, bit into HOT spicy bbq. The waitress brought out the correct order. The honey bbq sauce was cold. Wings were overcooked with broken bones.. Everything that you all could’ve screwed up today, you did. You all should be ashamed.
My car was broken into and my window was smashed in the Pluckers parking lot and the Pluckers staff didn’t seem concerned whatsoever on top of that they did not seem to really care. Additionally the wings were overcooked and it feels like the quality has fallen off at this location. I had been coming to this location for years and the quality fall off paired with the decline in quality has ensured that I won’t ever come back to this location and honestly you shouldn’t either.
