I recently dined at the Halal Food Restaurant and was thoroughly impressed! The Turkish doner was succulent, the lahmacun and pide were bursting with flavor, and the pizza was a delightful fusion. We've been eyeballing this place for a year and finally gave them a try. Really glad we did. Turkish pizza....yes please! The Turkish Pizza with seasoned ground beef on a crust you can almost see through was amazing, it came with a small salad, i'll get this again but i do want to try the rest of the menu. The next visit needs to be soon.

Came here one night with a friend, and was really excited to try this place. I love Turkish food, and was really impressed when I saw this place even had Turkish breakfast. I ordered a doner sandwhich, and split the Lahmacun. The doner was a tad dry, which was disappointing. However, the Lahmacun was bursting with flavor– I was surprised! Considering this place is a “pizzeria,” I’ll come back and stick to the Pides.

Even though I was looking for Star Pizza and accidentally selected Star Pizzeria (Turkish Restaurant), I enjoyed my food and it was an interesting enough experience that I may consider going there again.

After struggling with some of the big pizza restaurants, I opted to try this neighborhood option and was solely disappointed. Ordering online was easy and the communication regarding pickup time was good. Unfortunately, I did not check the pizza when I picked it up and found that they left off the pepperoni I added for $1.50. I also saw that they added a facilities charge to the bill. I even added a tip to the pickup order which I now regret. The pizza dough was just average but the pizza had a metallic taste to it. Perhaps it was the sauce. Overall, a disappointing experience which I will not repeat.

I called 15 minutes before arriving and placed my order. They never mentioned any delay . The order took one full hour to prepare. I was forced to wait that long with my child, who was hungry. Their excuse was being short-staffed, which they should have told me upfront. Completely unacceptable and very unprofessional.

I went there after a long time, and unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst experience again. I decided to give them one more try 'cause my friend's kid likes their cheese pizza, but I deeply regret it. I ordered a kavurmali pide (a Turkish specialty) that is supposed to come with only egg yolk. Instead, it arrived with both egg white (raw) and yolk. When I politely mentioned this to the waitress, her response was, "That's how the cook makes it". No attempt to fix it. I ended up separating the egg white myself and asked for a clean plate so I wouldn't have raw egg white on my dish. Halfway through eating, I found a piece of paper baked into my pide. When I showed it to the waitress, her only reply was "OK". She took my plate and walked away. No apology, no replacement, no offer of anything else. The lack of care and professionalism was shocking. They completely ruined my day. I honestly cannot believe how this place has good reviews. A friendly piece of advice: instead of asking people to leave a good review, focus on improving your food quality and customer service.
