I was pleasantly surprised by how many amazing plants were here, many beautiful ones I had never seen before. I came for 1 plant and left with 4! Q was very friendly and helpful in getting me what I was looking for and teaching me how to care for them! Thank you so much < 3

Love this plant store! The gentlemen that work here are very informative, polite, and will help you with plant selection. They have a price sheet that they will hand you because not every plant is priced - some have signs, some have the price written on the side of the pot, etc. You can find a huge selection of Philodendron, Calathea/Maranta, Ficus, and many more. They also have some more rare, pricey plants, but their prices compared to other places are awesome! They even mark down specific plants in case they're not looking their 100%. They have their own growing area and rehab station towards the back, and of course are not for sale yet because they want to give you their best. I will be coming here for most of my plant shopping! Can't wait to see what they have in the spring and summer months Ps- yes this is a greenhouse outside of someone's house!! I was confused too but it was easy to spot once I arrived at the address.

Very hidden, took us driving past 3 times and checking other reviews before we were brave enough to go up to the house. There was an open gate to the left with a small sign saying Zone 9 Tropicals. So glad we stopped! It was amazing to see all of the plants he had and they were helpful and available to answer questions. I am so happy with the plants I bought, and got more than I planned due to their service and the quality of the plants there. Definitely recommend for unique or hard to find plants, it was worth the drive.

Love their cute little place with full beautiful plants, it's in the heights area, so kind of hard to find parking place. Owner and staff were super friendly and helpful, the price is really reasonable also. If are trying to find rare plant definitely come here!! Will definitely be back.

Finally was able to stop by and so glad I did! This place is filled to the brim with houseplants! I was able to find the anthurium I wanted and another one I’ve been thinking about grabbing. The owners are very friendly and even gave us a tour of their collection in the back that they have for stock. So many beautiful harder to find plants. I can’t wait to come back! I highly recommend coming at least to take a peak. It’s a jungle in there!

Great selection, small family owned nursery in the back yard of a heights home. Good selection with hard to find plants and some other popular plants as well. Fair pricing and healthy plants.

Stumbled across this little gem while searching for a Nong Nooch. It was about an hour away, so I emailed the owner to confirm they in fact had one in stock. I received an email back promptly, and they agreed to keep it for me to pick up the following weekend. I emailed again to confirm one last time the day before, and they again responded promptly and notified me of a change in their hours. We made the trip and ended up coming home with several plants! We were pleasantly surprised by all the wonderful plants they had, the staff was very kind and helpful, and in the end it was worth the travel time for us. Highly recommend them now when people are looking for new plants shops, and we will definitely stop by again!

My 11 year old grandson is a huge plant enthusiast. I took him to Zone 9 Tropicals today and we had the most interesting time. The place has so many plants including rare ones that were on my grandson's "wish list". The owner and workers are some of the nicest and most knowledgeable individuals I have met while looking at plants with my grandson. They spent a long time talking with him and answering his many questions. We will definitely be going back.

Went here over my birthday weekend, they have a lot of rare stuff that the other popular nurseries dont have or over charge on. Prices are very good. I had an issue with a plant I purchased, the owner fixed it immediately. Will buy more plants from here. The only thing that could be improved is if they have prices on all of their plants. They have a price list that you can look at, which is nice, but some of the plants I was interested in I wasn't 100% sure what they were and the person that was working there was busy with someone else, so I couldn't ask.

K

very cute local plant shop that is a greenhouse behind the owner's house. Has a very neat selection of rare and unusual plants that you can't find at big box stores, and the prices are fair, the owners/workers are very nice and friendly. Be aware they are open only Saturday and Sunday

Price, quality, and detail are the names of the game here. I absolutely love this place. The plants that are propagated by the owner are priced better than anywhere in town, and when you are ready for exploring, he has unique varieties that are difficult to find anywhere. I can't rave about this place enough. I suggest making this your first stop on any plant buying weekend.

Genuinely in utter shock about this place. I walked in and was greated by the nicest person you could ever imagine, he walked us trough the whole store and was so patient. Then came the owner he was also THE NICEST PERSON EVER he helped us pick what plant we wanted and even showed us how to take care of them. Then he gave me a whole plant as a bonus the another and another . I told him that I really liked anthuriums and he gave me a small sample of a anthurium and on top of that him and the other person working there showed me their personal collection and propagation room that was filled to the brim with rare aand beautiful plants and even offered me some of his personal collection . I- its been an hour since I left and I'm still shocked please visit if you can you won't regret it I promise.

Despite TWO back to back HURRICANES headed in their direction, they still managed to ship my plants in a very timely manor. Most importantly, the plants they sent were absolutely stunning. Owner was helpful and beyond easy to communicate with. Clearly this company knows about customer service. If I could rate them a 6 out of 5, I would - Thank you Zone 9 Tropicals for a wonderful experience.

Although nice plants, nothing like the picture. The Sinuata even reads “big shiny leaves”....I got 3 leaves, 1 medium size and 2 small for $90. Communication is poor except with Roberto. I just hate it didn’t look like the picture. Not shiny like the picture OR the size in the picture. After dropping over $200 bucks on 4 plants, I would think communication would be key
