Being Greek, I was disappointed with the quality of Greek restaurants in my area. But that changes today. This is not your typical fast food. They prepare and cook your food to order and of good portions. I had avgolemono soup, really tasty and also the steak and lamb skewer plate with well cooked and flavorful meat. Met with the new owners which are very sweet, hardworking, respectful people. We'll be back for more for sure!

It's counter service, so after I figured out what to get, I made my order and chose a table. The restaurant is very clean, and I love the decor (it's a classic blue and white Greek vibe). They were surprisingly busy for a new restaurant! Good for them! Now what you came for, how was the food? Greek Salad - fresh ingredients, perfect amount of dressing (not too much, not too little), great classic flavor Chicken Gyro - This thing is huge! I was not expecting the gyro to be this big, and wow is it good! It's packed with tender chicken and veggies and it couldn't roll up and close on itself if it tried to. It may have had a little bit too much tsaziki sauce, but that's personal preference. Baklava - I'm a big fan of dessert - like, every meal must have a sweet finisher to it - and this baklava was perfect! Crispy layers are all stacked up and it's not too saturated on the bottom (I hate soggy baklava). The front of house guy, Daniel, is a rockstar. He came and checked on me a few times and was extremely genuine. He was very welcoming and wanted to make sure I loved everything I received. I can't wait to come back.

Customer Service was great and well mannered. Food was great and extremely satisfying. I the falafel gyro combo which I have not food anywhere with the bonus of a great price for that meal. I will be returning as a regular. Thank You

Came here for a quick lunch and got the gyro and potatoes combo. It was good, the meat was very moist and the pita was very soft. They loaded the sandwich up with plenty of gyro meat, tzatziki & feta. I really enjoyed it. I chose the lemon potatoes as my side and they were cooked in olive oil and garlic, very tasty. It’s not cheap my combo was $19. I guess that’s becoming the norm for a decent lunch so I might as well get some better food for my money and The Great Greek didn’t disappoint.

I went to *The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill* in Friendswood, and honestly, it was a great experience from start to finish. The food was amazing—the **gyros were packed with flavor**, the meat was perfectly seasoned, and the pita was warm and soft. I also got the **French fries**, and they were surprisingly good—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and well-seasoned. The service was top-notch. The staff was friendly and efficient, and what really stood out was the **owner walking around, checking on tables** to make sure everyone was happy with their food. You don’t see that often, and it made the experience feel more personal. The restaurant itself was **super clean**, and they even have a **nice patio** if you want to sit outside. It’s well-kept, which is a big plus. Overall, if you're craving Mediterranean food, this place is definitely worth a visit. Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere—I’ll definitely be back!

Came during their 4 year anniversary promotion to try their gyro sandwich! The owners were extremely friendly and made sure we had a great experience! The food was extremely fresh and delicious! We got the Gyro Sandwich, Feta Fries, & Greek Salad with Chicken. I do hope they open more locations in the Houston Area!

I thoroughly enjoyed the Great Greek Mediterranean Grill at Baybrook Mall. Their Feta Fries are to die for - so yummy and so tasty. The Great Greek Gyro is delicious too! I will definitely be back to try more menu items. Make sure to sign up for their emails for coupons and discounts.

The owners were super sweet! The food was phenomenal and made to order! Super clean restaurant the food and dessert sampler were very delicious and had authentic flavored baklava! Their feta fries and lemon fries melt in your mouth!

It was my first time trying the Great Greek, and it certainly won't be my last. The staff were extremely friendly, the manager and who I assume was the owner checked on me while ate. The food was nice and hot and very tasty. The atmosphere was very immersive, they had great Mediterranean music playing. I will say, after I left, my stomach did hurt a little, but it subsided after 30 minutes or so. I would give this location an 8.9/10

Honestly, my meal was absolutely delicious and light! I ordered the chicken breast and steak skewers which are season with salt, pepper, and lemon. The dish was accompanied with rice seasoned with Aleppo (spice); a house salad with feta cheese, tomato, olives, and a vinaigrette; and three slices of pita bread and tzatziki. Looking forward to returning during a lunch break!

This place is probably Top 3 Greek Food in the Greater Houston area. Food was amazing! The price is great! All within the mall area. HIDDEN GEM! They can also accommodate to dairy allergy!

Great food and fast service. There is a separate take out pick up line. I got a gyro, hummus, and shrimp slouvaki plate - everything was delicious. We are regular customer. Good prices for portion size.

The Feta fries barely had feta cheese. It was mostly mozzarella I think. I did like the salad. It was the best part of the meal. If you're going to eat here, get the salad with gyro meat. That will be good.
