It's the waffle house experience you want, go visit and have a great breakfast

Like many, if not most, Waffle Houses, this gem that's not quite off the highway is staffed by friendly, down-to-earth people who are more than happy to top off your coffee. The food is standard WH: a basic American breakfast bathed in butter right from the flattop. Scattered, smothered, covered, and chunked for the win.

I go here often. Grits are great. I challenge you to find better omelets anywhere—nice and fluffy. Sure they make mistakes sometimes, but they are good folks.

This is the one in Hudson Oak a better one by far. Food and service was great.

Daughter and I come here for breakfast on the regular. It’s our special daddy/daughter place to go and hang out and watch the cooks magically whip out all of the orders on a cooktop and burners smaller than the kitchen in an RV.

Mya was very sweet and professional. Compliments to the chief, she is sweet and a great cook.

My husband & I had the best service. Our food was yummy, and our server Savannah was awesome. When it came time to pay, the card reader was malfunctioning. After trying 4 separate cards they contacted the manager about the problem. As we normally don't have cash on hand (only $10.00 between the both of us) the manager accepted it as paid in full. We will be returning to leave a tip for Savannah, and pay forward a meal for two. Aside from the mishap that was out of their control, the restaurant was very clean as well as the restrooms. We highly recommend the Hudson Oaks, Waffle House.

We had bob as our server, he did and amazing job! Food was cooked perfect as to our orders, I set my half empty glass down and he says " I hear a cup needing a refill" and promptly marches over to fulfill the needs. Place was clean and staff was absolutely great!

Outstanding service and the best diner food I've had in a long time! The Texas Patty Melt is amazing and our server Theresa was great! I never saw the bottom of my coffee cup. Highly recommended.

My server politely asked the old timer in the booth in front of me if he could have a moment of his time. Of course I was enjoying my Waffle and Double order of hash browns scattered and covered a little to much when that statement had my attention. My young, tattooed, pierced server was very polite and said this. " Sir id like to take a min and apologize to you for my behavior the last time you were in hear. I behaved in a unacceptable way and I don't want to try and make excuses for it. I hope you can accept my apology... I'm stunned and paralyzed waiting for the answer ...The older man a shaggy white headed tattooed man with the looks of a few days on the motorcycle behind him responded with this... Well son how about that u did remember who I was ....I was wondering if you were going to and I guess you do .. and son that tells me everything I need to know about you. Your always gonna have bad days. But the 1st chance u got u took the time to make it right. I appreciate that that means your man of integrity not afraid to be wrong and strong enough to admit it. We need more kids like you in this world and turns I was mistaken about the kinda kid you were. This isn't verbatim of course but it's pretty damn close we were the only two tables in there.... Needless to say tears are rolling down my face excuse myself to the bathroom and then leave having the best waffle House experience of my whole entire life.

The gentleman working on Thursday October 7th at night who was the only one there was amazing!!! He was cooking flipping the eggs in the air and talking us and the other guests behind us and not skipping a beat!!! Our food was perfect which matched his awesome service and made this a experience that I usually don’t get at a late night cafe!!! If it was possible he should get a raise or at least be recognized in a company email to have others emulate his great service!!! The Halloween decorations were really fun and festive!!

With most waffle houses it’s either a hit or miss but this one is definitely a WIN! The service is fantastic and personal. I always get the grand slam with eggs over easy , bacon , hash browns , and regular pancakes and they are always perfect! They also have hot black tea which I really enjoy. The food is always quickly made but delicious. And it is pretty cool to see the cooks make your meal right in front of you . I have always loved Waffle House ever since I was little and it still feels and taste the same as it did back then.

No matter where you go in the country, there is always Waffle House by the interstate. The coffee is always fantastic and the good mornings when you walk in are always welcome! I love to sit at the counter where you can see and watch everything being prepared. The food is always great and the prices are fantastic! I would not hesitate to recommend Waffle House!

If you have never been. Run don't walk. The last vestige of the way things used to be. Food choices may not be plentiful, but they are cooked to offer, and portions are perfect. Price is nowhere near bigger breakfast chain restaurants, and the customer service is personal and top-notch. Tip the waitresses they work for their money here.

my personal favorite waffle house I've ever been to. You will always be welcomed by smiling faces and quirky personalities weather it's 3 pm or 3 am. wonderful crew. food portions always seem bigger vs weatherford location. 10 percent discount on top of their already unbeatable prices if you work in Hudson oaks and go on your lunch break. this is the place to go.

Great place, very clean. Went about midnight and the cook and the waiter was awesome. Made my wife and i feel right at home. Hudson Oaks waffle House is the only one my family and i will go to.

They have great food and they cook fast and give you the food fresh made too the waiters are pretty cutie and they get everything right way and the even ask if everything is good still and everything u don't have too wait too get to sit down and everything. I gave them a 5 star we come too this place alot when u out of town we stop at this place all time

Went here on Christmas and the place was absolutely packed to capacity with people waiting in line. Despite the hectic atmosphere the staff was attentive and nailed my order for 4 people with multiple substitutions and changes perfectly. I will absolutely recommend this particular establishment! Great job!

Great meal after a long day on the expressway. The two servers we had were just wonderful I've never had a bad meal at Waffle House in my life. We had questions about directions and places to stay and they cheerfully helped us out. They deserve a gold star

Absolutely love this location. So clean, nice, lifted spirited staff. Try many others locations. Blue mound, lake worth, and western center… No Thank you. This morning crew was excellent. If I get to vote on where we go eat it is the waffle house on day shift and there my favorites over at Hudson Oaks. They kept coffee cup full and the humor was spectacular. Food was great. It is the only place I know where the coffee and food and service is top rate. Keep up the great work Paula and Jo.

There are two within a few miles of each other. One in Weatherford and the other is in Hudson Oaks,TX. I prefer the one in Hudson Oaks, hands down best service I have ever received at a Waffle House. Coffee is hot and the food order is always on point. I try and get there after the morning rush and before the beginning of lunch. This is the time you can walk in and there is no wait time, lunch is a totally different story. They have a crew that works well together and it shows by the short time it takes to receive your order.

Food was so good! I had double hash browns with jalapenos and a bacon angus burger with no bun, no cheese, no onions. The cook was happy to make it according to the way i ordered it and the staff was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean and very hospitable as a whole. My wife and friend were also very pleased and 3 of us dined in and got or stomach's full and only cost us $37.25 for the 3 of us.

The food was delicious! I received a bacon-angus burger without a bread, cheese, or onions, along with double hash potatoes topped with jalapenos. The staff was really polite, the cook was willing to prepare it just how I ordered it, and the restaurant was overall really clean and welcoming.

Waffle House always has a bad rep but my family & I have never had a bad experience there. Hanna was very knowledgeable & polite. She actually checked on our needs several times during our visit. Almost unheard if in Texas. You order. Get your food & the bill at the same time never to see your server again. Great job Hanna! Thank you!

Barbra and Celeste were absolutely amazing!! I had to place a large to go order late at night and they were on it right away for me. Celeste did a spectacular job on the grill, while Barbra was the sweetest for packing all my drinks and helping me to the car! These two were the best and hope I get served by them again!!

Customer service is great. Servers are very nice and outgoing. The food comes out fast and has that classic amazing Waffle House taste! I just hope they can get the staffing they need to open full time😊

It has been years since I have been to Waffle House, but it did not disappoint. It actually tasted better then I remember lol, I got the Texas Bacon Cheeses teak Melt with hash browns. The sandwich was delicious and so much better then I was expecting. Ordered my hash covered and peppered, not much covering food it do but crisp and delicious none the less.

My family of four came in tonight for dinner around 6pm. Not only was our service great, but the food was absolutely delicious! I was not able to get our server's name but did see Skyler was the cook. I had been here a few years ago. Dropped in and it is still good as before. A healthy breakfast with eggs , ham , hash browns , waffles , cofffe and orange juice. All of it was top shelf. The cook was quick to prepare the meal and the waitress was very attentive. Had to go to the restroom before leaving. It was clean and well maintained. Here Oct 3 , 2023 Everything is still as it was two years ago. Always good. Hawaii and Christal said to drop by. Caitlyn ans Martina said to come in and see us.

Their coffee tastes excellent, but you could make several times the amount of coffee at home cheaper than you would get it at the coffee shop. Other than that everything is great, including the pastries. I get the lemon cake.

Great experience! Thankful for good food late at night. The waitress was attentive and kept my cup full of hot coffee!

I rated a four because usually the food and service is absolutely on point but this evening..... It was disappointing to say the least! We always order to go and they are the most friendly employees you will find anywhere but that was missing tonight! Both meals ordered were wrong and lacking the usual deliciousness (over cooked eggs, biscuits mushy...). One of them wasn't what we ordered and when I called up there, they told us it was because they ran out of chicken, yet they didn't tell us that when we picked it up. They didn't seem to want to be there at all. I'm just shocked because normally this place is so amazing that when it's off, it's very noticeable! Maybe those working are new, idk but it definitely affected this place this evening! I love this Waffle House and will continue to eat here, but I hope it's not on this crews shift!

Great staff! First time at a Waffle House a waitress has asked me how I like my over easy eggs, It was very appreciated because I always forget to ask them to be cooked over medium.

Waitress Teri was kind; she recommended the pork chops and eggs, which were the special of the day. Food was well prepared. The restaurant was clean throughout, including the restroom. Best Waffle House I've seen in years.

Our visit was interesting. The food was great as usual, the waiter was new though. Two others appeared to be loitering, bur the young african american visiting chef from the White Settlement location was Johnny on the spot. Efficient, fast, clean and obviously picking up the slack. I told him so as we left.

Difficult to get into because the gravel between the Waffle House and the gas station looks "makeshift", and the next driveway requires you to pass by two other businesses to get in. But once inside the staff were friendly, inviting, and made the food exactly as requested.

This is my favorite waffle house! I usually go over and dine-in later during the night because a great married couple works. They are so stoic. Very good souled people. The rest of the staff has impressed me with their accurate performance waiting. (,spelling) very sweet people. Cooked food and good prices.

The food was very tasty but we had a very unpleasant experience with our server, Aaron. Unfortunately, he bore an aroma and appeared as a person who has not bathed in days. I hate to have to say it but it was very unappealing in a food service industry.

It's always extremely cold inside this location, very uncomfortable. The shredded steak portion continue to get smaller and the hash browns portions are larger.... this location is a hit or miss... depending on the cook and staff!

Good breakfast food. Limited parking. Fairly clean . The staff was So so. But again the various types music so loud .We been to 3 different Waffle Houses and all of them the music was loud 😕 they said they had no control over the volume . I like their Waffle but I never go to Waffle House again .

Food was good but I was a little offended by the waitress who openly admitted that she was 70 and called me Mama when I'm only 56. I know maybe I'm overly sensitive but people need to be a little more careful. I think she said it with affection well why would she even think Mama. Other than that the service was fair. She was a little slow but it's 70 what do you expect? I guess you was doing a good job just being there on her feet working a rush hour.

Service and food were excellent, but the manager or cook Saturday morning was absolutely rude to the customers and his co-workers. I believe his name was Kenny. He was yelling, cussing, wore earbuds, and never changed gloves. He should be fired for this. We will never be back here because of him.

Food was pretty good. The staff was very veryyyyy nice. Service was pretty slow. The cleanliness of this business is pretty bad. When we got to our table we were told "it had just been cleaned" but it was sticky and slimy. Underneath the table was old dropped and spilt food, like pieces of bacon, biscuits and napkins. It was gross.

Casey, not sure what's going on at your store, but this is the 3rd Saturday in a row the order has been wrong. We come just about every Saturday as a tradition, sad our food isn't made the way we order it anymore.

spent 40$ on 2 meals and 2 extra waffles to go. the 2 extra waffles had chocolate chips on them, which i did not order, and complete ruined the waffles. and the waffle i assume came with my order was the saddest waffle i’ve ever seen in my life. can’t seem to find good staff either. the first time i came to this location a employee yelled at me because i didn’t leave a tip.

When we came in we sat at a booth but water was dripping from the ceiling so we moved to the bar. As we were eating our waiter started doing dishes at the bar. That was fine but dish water was flying up onto the bar where our food was. Husband asked him if he could please wait until we were finished so he huffed and walked away. 30 seconds later a waitress comes up and starts slamming dishes. We understand “you have a job to do” as the cook stated but it’s unsanitary.

I used to frequent this location 3 nights a week, after the service I did not revrece on my last 5 visits I will never go back to any waffle House. This was poor customer service and even worse quality of food. Shame on you waffle House. You've earned your named awful waffle.

PSA!! Waffle House does not take phone orders anymore. So if you want to place a to go order and you only have cash you have to physically go in and order your food but here’s the kicker they charge a “to go” order fee. So my all star special that’s normally around $11 was $14.

I saw the cook grab raw sausage patties with her gloved hand. Then she used that same gloved hand to touch every skillet she had. Then she made 3 breakfast sandwiches with that same gloved hand. I have never seen that much cross contamination in the span of 3 minutes! When I called Waffle House to complain, they didn't care.

Friendly service but our server hovered around to much. We ate there on 02/09. Our server had short hair and was training a guy - we couldn’t even have a private conversation while we ate without her trying to include herself into said conversation. I said something to my daughter and she even jumped in.. We felt rushed, and didn’t get to enjoy our meal.

If I could of given it zero stars I would of. I went in there this afternoon with a friend and my wife. I asked to have my sweet tea replaced as it tasted funny and the guy who served us said nothing, asked I guess the manager who informed us "well it was made YESTERDAY MORNING" and I ordered grits which had a lump of congealed grits that I couldnt even get my fork in. Mentioned that to our server also and he just shrugged his shoulders. By that point I had lost my appitite and didn't want to eat anything else there. Also my wife was sitting next to the trash can just the other side of her. Yes on the kitchen side but she could smell the trash. Told the 'manager' when I was paying but she never even answered me. Just took my card, swiped it and gave me the receipt to sign with my card and walked away. Absolutely disgusted with the service , attitude and the food. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Food tasted fake, eggs, cheese etc. Hashbrowns burnt on the outside but tasting sour. I've eaten at waffle house plenty but never experienced it like this

Walked in and the only 2 people that were working that night were both asleep. One woke up and tried to serve me. When I ordered a soda, she sneezed in my drink while the other guy never woke up... it was the most horrible display of service and the most disrespectful thing I've ever seen in the food industry. I will most definitely never go back and I do not recommend anyone go there.

Most disgusting is to see the cook outside smoking, walk in and not wash his hands and he’s gonna make my breakfast? I all most threw up from the smell of cigarettes…… I had to leave and not eat any food! 🤮

Came in with family for a evening meal. Waitress acted extremely hurried to take our order but we were only 1 of 2 tables in the whole place. As we were waiting for our drinks a man came in and she immediately took his order for drink and food as we were waiting for her to take our order putting him first as we were already seated. She took our order and we got our meal and she never looked back at us again. We had to get out own syrup and napkins and when we asked for refills she complained that we were wasting her time in a rude attitude. When i went to pay out I had to ask her if everything was ok and she told me a (paying customer) that it had bothered her that we asked for a couple of minutes to look at the menu and that we were supposed to order drink and food at the same time so she didn't have to walk back to the table. What a high value employee she is. She didn't even ask if I wanted a receipt and was very rude. I have been a waffle house customer for years and this lazy employee has cost the company my business.
