My wife and I were on our way to another place to eat when we spotted the Hot Spot across the street. She ordered their Cheese Steak Sandwich and I ordered the 10' Sausage Calzone. The Sandwich came up first and it was pretty good, but that calzone! It was simple and amazing! I think it had a mix cheese (2-4 blend) and ricotta mixed in with sausage. The staff was friendly and nice, and I loved it! I now have a favorite place to come to when I visit Huntington Beach main street. Definitely come support this place P.s. Shortly after getting my calzone, I was sitting at a table next to the door and a random gentleman was walking by, saw my calzone, stopped and walked up to the table and stared at my food like he found a long lost friend. I told him what I got and he went to check out the menu.

Staff came and dropped off boxes of pizza for us at Hoag, just thanking us for our work. At first we thought they were joking but they weren’t. Pizza was fantastic and I will definitely have to stop by soon. Definitely taking friends there once we’re all able to eat in at restaurants too. Thank you guys for your continuous work as well!

We came in and got about eight slices of pizza. All different of course. I think it was like six or eight bucks per slice. It’s right next to the beach so everything is expensive that’s just how it goes. They were fast and efficient. The pizza was OK.

Pizza was a 5 out of ten. Definitely not enough toppings for the 38$ I paid for a large meat lovers. The two guys working in the back were incredibly rude and dismissive to me and my friend. Not sure what was going on before we got there but it presented a hostile and uncomfortable environment the whole time we were there

CHECK YOUR PIZZA BEFORE YOU LEAVE. Last night we walked in and ordered a meat lovers. Instead we were given a pepperoni and sausage. I didn't check it until I had already walked away and getting in our Uber. I paid $30 for this pizza so I wasn't going to settle. Returned it, they told me 5 min. Ended up taking 15 min, all the while the Uber was waiting... Only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the pizza was pretty good. Was it because I was drunk and starving? Possible.
Had a $15 dollar meatball sub, sloppily put together, barely two meatballs and were pretty small too. Bread was cut terrible looks ripped apart and meatball fell through the middle. The guy serving did not want to be there and got sauce all over the top of the box.

This happened to my group as we ordered 2 large. Guy gave himself 20% while we weren’t watching. Tried to talk to him but he denied the claim.
The cashier’s attitude was incredibly rude and unprofessional completely unacceptable for someone in a customer facing role. If that’s how she treats customers, it’s only a matter of time before she crosses the wrong person. On top of that, the pizza was clearly old and not fresh. Management needs to take a serious look at both the service and the product quality.
