What a great little place. Eating on a semi-rainy day was so pleasant. Great hot dogs! I only got the ‘Tijuana Dick’ — while it was delicious I really wish jalapeños were spicier! They packed no punch. Will like to come back though, loved the friendly service and the truck.
Dick’s is a a fun little food truck located in the downtown area of Idyllwild. It is seemingly the only food truck in town, but that’s okay because it is such a fun experience! There’s pretty much something here for everyone, including vegetarian options. A few of the hot dogs and one of the burgers can be made vegetarian which my partner and I appreciated. We each got an Alpine dog and the naked fries and everything was delicious. There’s a lil fire pit and some outdoor seating just out front of the food truck too, which is nice. Overall I definitely recommend Dick’s for an afternoon lunch spot if you’re looking for a nice bite to eat in Idyllwild. We’ll definitely be back next time we visit, thanks Dick’s!!

Super tasty gourmet dogs! Something different from the food options in Idyllwild. We got the Alpine dog and the Chicago dog, as well as fries. Food was tasty and fresh. Owner was kind and service was good. Music a little loud but enjoyed our visit.
This place is the goat er… the dog. Had an amazing hot dog here today, snagged the last one before they sold out. They really put a lot of effort into high quality food and presentation and the owner is very nice. Hoping to get back tomorrow for their tendies

Local, family owned food truck with killer service! Not only is their food delicious but the atmosphere they have cultivated is family friendly and so much fun! Everyone in my family loves to eat here, lucky to have them in town.

This place was very good. I highly recommend it. I got the Dad Burger and my daughter got the Tijuana Dick. I couldn't believe how big their hotdogs were. My daughter struggled to finish her hotdog. The lady working the food truck was also very friendly, recommending good substitutes.

This little walk-up hotdog wagon is a favorite. The best hotdogs on town and a variety to choose from. The prices are very reasonable and the owner is the best - so friendly and always remembers us. All around great place!
The kindest owner. He didn’t like the first corn dog he made us so he made us another one. Both were killer. Absolutely coming back
I really like Ali at the hot dog stand at Lowe's. He is attentive and cheerful and very kind!! He always has a smile to brighten our day. His hotdogs are regular, polish or all beef it comes with chips and a medium drink when you make it a combo! My friend and I love coming here instead of Costco because Ali has All the condiment you can think of! My friend couldn't choose between Pepsi or Coke! And he gave her both! Which was a pleasant surprise! Kindness goes a long ways! Big shout out to Ali at Dick's Dogs in front of Lowe's!!!

I’ve gotten to know the owners and management very well && let me just say you will NOT find a better BURGER or CUSTOMER SERVICE anywhere else in Idyllwild. Their team is constantly finding new ways to make their food unique, tasty, and original! If you ever find yourself going through Idyllwild CA and are not sure what to eat; please give these guys a visit and I am more than confident they will not let you down. p.s. they got great music playing outside while you wait for your order. BIG BONUS!!

Loved my brat — and the fries were amazing! However, more than 60% of the menu wasn’t available. Claimed to have a ton of vegan options but were out of all of their vegan items except for the basic vegan dog. It was also SUPER expensive. $48 (all in with tip) for 2 hotdogs and 2 sides of fries.
