Nuestra experiencia en el Hotel Somiatruites ha sido excelente. Su proyecto es original y con una identidad muy marcada, que lo hace diferente a cualquier otro hotel. La cocina es de gran nivel, con platos creativos y de gran calidad que transmiten pasión por el detalle. El ambiente del hotel transmite tranquilidad, ideal para desconectar y disfrutar sin prisas. Además, el servicio ha sido impecable: cercano, atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Un lugar totalmente recomendable para quienes buscan algo especial.

Las croquetas están tan ricas que casi me desmayo！ Y el servicio increíble, sobre todo el camarero lleno de tatuajes, súper simpático y atento.

Estancia inmejorable e inolvidable. La habitación es un lujo, sobretodo la presentación del pack romántico. Servicio estupendo, con especial mención a Guillem, muy agradable y atento. El desayuno perfecto: abundante y de gran calidad. Repetiremos sin duda, tanto la estancia como el restaurante.

Fui en el Rec de Igualada , no conocía el restaurante, creo que para el Rec hicieron un menú menos variado por la afluencia. Me costó 29 euros , pero la verdad creo que vale la pena. Los platos todos buenos y elaborados , El servicio rápido y amable, de 10 . Incluso la organización en otorgar mesa muy bien. Pedimos focaccia , tartar y salmón , lo que más me gustó el salmón. Los postres muy originales , el pastel de queso como un huevo muy bien , y sobretodo estaba muy bueno

Precioso lugar, con un sofisticado ambiente industrial, adecuado a la zona donde se encuentra. Excelente comida, solo mejorada por el servicio. Precio más que asequible.

Fuimos en familia, éramos 8 personas, y absolutamente todos coincidimos: 10/10 sin dudarlo. La calidad de la comida es extraordinaria, los platos están perfectamente elaborados y sabores cuidados al detalle. Pero lo que realmente nos sorprendió fueron los precios: increíbles para el nivel que ofrecen. Una relación calidad-precio difícil de encontrar. En Barcelona, esto es impossible de encontrar He tenido la suerte de viajar bastante y comer en muchos sitios por el mundo, y sinceramente, este restaurante está entre los mejores en los que he estado. Además, el servicio fue amable, rápido y muy profesional. Un lugar que recomendaría sin pensarlo y al que sin duda volveremos. Una joya!

La reseña es sobre el restaurante. Los platos eran muy originales y, en cuanto al sabor, estaban realmente bien logrados. Nos encantó el Arroz a la carbonara! El servicio fue muy correcto: atentos y receptivos en todo momento. Debo enfatizar que me cuesta creer que hayamos podido comer tan bien por el precio que pagamos. Sin duda, volveremos!

So this review is mainly for the hotel, as sadly we didn't get round to trying the restaurant! We were invited to Igualada for a family friend's wedding and when I looked for accomodation Somiatruites stood out from a bunch of bland looking places. It looked great and was a very good price so we booked a room and looked forward to our May adventure. Once we finally got there, delayed flight, we were so happy! This place is amazing, easily one of the nicest places I've stayed in Spain. We were checked in by the lovely Augustin, who while rushed as he was working the restaurant also, took us through everything to do with the rooms and made us all feel really welcome. The rooms where absolutely fab. The whole vibe of the place is quite contemporary and a focus on the use of sustainable materials. So lots of wood, metal, some 'raw' finishes which I actually quite like. The bed was fantastic, we meant to look at what brand it was because I want one in the UK. Bathroom had a quirky setup, the shower was above the bath and you stand on a platform with a grate - slide it out the way for a bath. I think this needs just a big grate really instead of the solid part of the cover, as it could get quite wet, but the shower was lovely, and my girlfriend loved the bath. There's no door to the bathroom, so be comfortable with the person you are sharing the room with. Space and lighting is fab, sockets are in good places for charging electronics. We had a room that overlooks the square outside, so the balcony had lovely views, but also some good privacy from the other rooms. There was water for us and a nice selection on the mini-bar. We don't usually bother with them, but Augustin told us it was cheap and he was right! €20 euro for some lovely red wine, Vichy Catalan, coke and the local tax when we checked out was super reasonable. The only complaint I have about the decor was that we didn't have any space to put the cases away! I got mine on a wardrobe shelf, but my girlfriend's was a tiny bit to big to shut the door. We managed fine though and used to living out of cases. Could have done with a couple more hooks on the walls to hang towels or jackets easily at hand, the two by the bed where a bit high and awkward position! Area around the hotels is a mix of old buildings and industrial. Felt safe round there and was very quiet most of our long weekend stay, except the Monday and Tuesday morning! There was big event setting up on the streets and local buildings so got a little noisy first thing, but was super quiet Monday evening. Parking is free on the street, we always managed a space close and the car was fine. Overall, one of my favourite places I've ever stayed in Spain. Igualada may not be a tourist destination really, but we are keen to go back and revisit Somiatruites, try the restaurant and just wander round this lovely town.

Staying at this excellent hotel with a restaurant from the Michelin Guide was one of the best experiences of my life. The room featured a unique design elements, one of which a bed suspended from the ceiling by ropes, with adjustable height from the floor. This proved to be incredibly convenient and our children absolutely loved it. The room's design was filled with intriguing secrets that captivated our kids' imagination. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breakfast. It was, without a doubt, the most delicious breakfast we've ever had. When it came to dinner, it was a culinary experience beyond compare. The flavors, presentation, and service were truly exceptional, leaving us in awe. To add to the magic of our stay, we had the pleasure of enjoying a bath with a view, which added an extra layer of luxury to our experience. Moreover, the hotel provided Netflix for kids, making it even more family-friendly. Our children were entertained when we needed some downtime. The service from the staff was outstanding. We were able to communicate with them via WhatsApp, which made everything incredibly convenient. Lastly, the hotel's interiors were a masterpiece of creativity, with an eco-friendly and natural design that was exceptionally beautiful. It truly felt like we were in a work of art. In summary, our stay at Somiatruites was nothing short of extraordinary! Thank you!

This place is amazing, the food is fresh, has a idea. Space is designed well, comfortable, spacious. The food and service was great, everything we tried was delicious. Reasonably priced. Thank you, it was great! Will come back again when we will do around.

The mid day menu from Monday to Friday is 16€ and includes a drink and bread, as well as a starter, main dish, and dessert. It's very well priced! The plates are different and fun, as well as generous In portion. The desserts were OK (perhaps the least tasty of the whole meal). The starters were the best!

This place was simply the best of our entire experience in Spain. Somiatruites offered a cozy, modern, and unique atmosphere with well thought out and locally made decorations. The room was well appointed and the beds were comfortable. The concierge services were excellent, everyone at the hotel and restaurant was very friendly. The restaurant was charming and a great addition to any stay. The food, yum!

Absolutely gorgeous. We went for 3 menus for 2 people, as we wanted to try many options and we were full when we left (but not sick). I'm not a dessert man but the carrot cake was just ridiculous. The value for money is incredible. The staff is really helpful and the chef even explained some of the recipes we were curious about.

Fuimos a cenar y la verdad es que todo estaba muy bueno. Lo único que no nos gustaron mucho fueron los postres, pero todo lo demás muy bueno.

Únicamente hemos estado en el restaurante, pero.muy bien todo. Servicio y comida. Volveremos.

Comida muy exquisita e innovadora con un concepto de comida tradicional con una presentación moderna y un toque contemporaneo. El local es agradable y hace referencia a las adoberías que hay cercanas, ya que era y es un lugar dónde se trabaja la piel, el edificio tiene una arquitectura contemporanea y el espacio del restaurante hace referencia a ese pasado del lugar.

Hemos ido a cenar un grupo de 4 personas. En los entrantes hemos pedido: - dónuts, nos han gustado, un plato diferente e innovador. - pan chino, buen sabor, un plato distinto. - steak tartar, estaba bueno, pero no es un steak que vaya a recordar por su sabor. - tartar de gamba con gazpacho, a mi punto de ver le faltaba que la gamba tuviese más protagonismo, un sabor más potente en el plato. Por otro lado, el gazpacho era de tomate y remolacha, tenía un sabor como a “tierra”. En cuanto al plato principal, todos estaban muy buenos, quizás el más flojo el arroz de carbonara. No estaba malo, y tenía el falso huevo frito, pero quizás el más flojo de los que pedimos (pedimos las costillas, osobuco y magret). En cuanto a los postres, a mi punto de ver, a la tarta de queso le faltaba un sabor más potente a queso, tenía un sabor muy suave, la presentación creando el “huevo frito” no estaba mal, pero le faltaba sabor. Relación calidad-precio está bien, pero le falta un punto a los platos para que se conviertan en “inolvidables”.

deberían separar el restaurante del hotel en Google. sería beneficioso para todos. El restaurante moderno con buena atención. Algunas mesas son estilo cantina y puedes compartir con otras personas. El comedor es amplio. relación calidad precio me parece correcto. hay bastante cuidado con los alimentos y algunos productos de calidad, cocinados con buena mano.

Our visit to Somiatruites was a bit of an odd one. We came into the restaurant through the same door everyone was using and then were told by the (I am assuming was) the manager that we were not supposed to us that door. We then seated on some weirdly uncomfortable seats and waited to be served. The menu was quite long and we were able to choose lots of things to try. We ordered and we were served quite quickly. The food was quite good and for the price we paid per person I thought it was very good. Would I think it to be a Michelin star level? Maybe? Not sure. The place is beautiful specially the building from the outside. From what I was told it was an old Catalan country house which was refurbished and transformed into a hotel and restaurant. The service was ok and the environment was quite noisy. I am not sure if it was a coincidence but I have read other comments which make me think it is not unusual. I would definitely recommend the place for anyone living in the area. I would not recommend it for someone to travel more than an hour 😅

Flavours are incredibly tasty. But there was a long waiting on the table. The food deserves the wait. Local is decorated beautiful with wood and forja/metal. Leather industry is the image of the city, restaurant is next to the leather Museum. In conclusion a great place with awesome food.

El lugar tiene una arquitectura original, la comida es de 10. Sólo me quede con mala sensación cuando una camarera nos regaño porque mi hija jugaba. Acepto que lo diga por supuesto y tenía razón pero las formas no fueron las correctas. Lo siento pero ese detalle hizo que mi experiencia no fuera la mejor. Se pueden decir las cosas de otra manera. También decir que los otros camareros muy amables

This place tries hard and for Igualada, a modern, Michelin-starred restaurant is a treat. But the staff is indifferent, little eye contact and in this time of masks, that matters. The starter of salmon rillette was the star of the show, but the spinach and gorgonzola croquettes were average. The eggplant parmigiana would have benefitted from having the bechamel inside instead of beside. The salmon main with mint yogurt was lovely. The tiramisu served in an old coffee pot was boozy but good. I give it a three mainly because of the waitress, but it could deserve a four.

we came here to celebrate my daughter's 14th birthday with the grandparents. party of 6. putting it through all the filters, I'd rate our experience a 3/5. the lunch menu is extremely well priced at 13€. the ingredients were quality, presentation was clever and portions are correct. clearly this is gourmet. service was relaxed but correct. clientele the same. the location is a bit industrial and quirky - which adds to its raw chicness, in a way. reservations accepted and recommended. i did find the menu descriptions a tad lavish, the food competing in richness, and seating was rather uncomfortable (like so many other gourmet places - odd). total bill came to a meagre 83€ with coffees. it was worth the experience, but i doubt I'd go back any time soon. i guess I'm just not the gourmet type. many thanks, though. you clearly have earned local love and support and are doing good things for igualada.

Visita 06/11/2025, coincidiendo con el Rec. Servicio de mediodía restaurante sin reserva. NO TODO VALE. Ofrecen un menú al mediodía, para toda la semana que pueden consultar en su página web, algo que les ayuda a mejorar sus márgenes nada que objetar. Me ubican en una mesa/barra central ya que iba solo, entiendo que están en un evento especial y hay más publico de lo habitual, la cocina también se nota “apretada” toda vez que los platos tardan en salir (nada que decir tampoco). Me decanto por la focaccia y el meloso de ternera, este último muy bueno, pero los platos para mi gusto los encuentro escasos, el segundo sobre todo y el postre, su tranpantojo también muy bueno. Lo que para mi no tiene ningún sentido, al tratarse de un menu de 26 euros, es que los platos lleguen a una mesa “desnuda” ni quisiera un triste mantel de papel, al Igual que la bebida la sirvan en un vaso de cartón, lo mismo que los cafés, repito en un menu de 26 euros No. Lo peor de todo es que los postres los tienen al descubierto en medio del comedor . El pago se hace en la barra como en cualquier local de polígono. Decepcionante

Sabe bastante normal, no tiene nada especial. Hay muy pocos platos para elegir, las bebidas son en botellas pequeñas y la comida tarda mucho en llegar.

Comida aceptable, precio desorbitado para la cantidad que ponen. Tuvimos que esperar casi 1h para dos arroces. Luego nos traen la cuenta, le decimos con tarjeta y al final, tuvimos que ir a la barra a pagar. No volvería.

La comida està buena, pero pagar 39 euros de menú cerrado con solo una bebida me parece muy excesivo. Lo peor de todo no es que no entre el café, es que tengas que levantarte a pedir el café a la barra.
