Momo2Go Irving Reviews
Always my go to for momos❤️ I went a couple times and ordered different items but whatever I had was worth eating. Must try is “fried momos” it comes with a sauce, it’s like chef’s kiss😀
Tried tandoori momos: must try, they were awesome. Himalayan special chowmein : was fine.
I’m originally from North India and always crave authentic Indian flavors, and this place is truly spot on! From rich, creamy Butter Chicken momos to flavorful Delhi Masala and other Himalayan-inspired dumplings, every bite felt familiar and delicious. The spice level was just right and the variety kept me wanting more. Highly recommend if you’re looking for bold, comforting Indian/Nepali flavors with amazing taste and great portion sizes!
Visited Momo2go in Dallas and absolutely loved it! This place is a paradise for momo lovers with a huge variety to choose from. I tried the Momo 65, Afghani momo, and Kurkure momo, and each one had its own unique flavor. The Kurkure momo was hands down my favorite — perfectly crispy on the outside and packed with flavor inside. The Afghani momo was rich and creamy, while Momo 65 had a nice spicy kick. Great taste, good portions, and so many options — definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in Dallas! 🥟🔥
Edit (Dec 2025) - As promised, they brought back the original flavor of Tandoori momo. Changing rating from 1 star to 5 star. Thanks! Original Review - This is my favorite place and I would have given it 5 star any day. My favorite momos here were Tandoori momo. But Since this month (July 2025), they changed the recipe. Now they are not spicy and dont have that smoky flavor anymore. From what I heard, people complained about being too salty so they changed the recipe. But there are people who loved it, everything extreme. Spicies, flavors, smoky flavor etc. In my opinion, they should create a separate category. Like "Classic Tandoor Momo" which would be like the originals like before. Then less flavorful ones as "Tandoori Momo" so people have both options. If they go back to the classic recipe, I will change the rating to 5 stars. Again, i have been a consistent visitor here and love the place. But would stop going if they dont change the tandoori momo recipe back to the original. Thanks! Posting photos of old vs new. Huge difference. 😭
One of my favorite spots in DFW for momos! The service is always great, and my go-to order is the honey chili momos. They’re perfectly saucy with the right balance of spice and sweetness, and the juicy meat inside makes them absolutely mouthwatering. Whenever I’m in the Irving area, this is my top choice.
Absolutely loved our experience at Momo 2 Go! The food was top-notch — we tried the Veg/Chicken Momo 65, chowmein, steamed momos, and a few other dishes, and everything was delicious. Despite the place being quite packed, the service was quick and the staff was super friendly. One thing that really stood out was their restroom — clean and thoughtfully stocked with sanitary pads for girls. It’s rare to see that kind of consideration, and it truly made a difference. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving great momos and a welcoming atmosphere!
Afghani momo , buttered chicken momo and Himalayan noodles Honey Chilli So I have mixed feelings for this spot first and foremost should the owner see this please considering adding either samples as an option or offer a combination bowl for purchase so you can get two flavors instead of just one because you offer so many different varieties it will be nice for customers that want to get more than one flavor without having to pay $15 for each different flavor. I think $30 spent on dumplings for one person is way too pricey. The first time I came and dined in. I got a slight attitude from the workers when I inquired about samples or a combination Bowl. I considered walking out but i decided to proceed. The chili one that was very good ! So literally two days later I came back in. I ordered two more flavors despite being hesitant because of the high cost. I got the butter chicken and Afghani and the Himalayan noodles to try those. The butter chicken and Afghani was good I really like the Afghani best. The Himalayan noodles not so much. It was very dry. They gave me extra sauce but even then it just was okay to me and it did not reheat well the next day at all. Actually none of these reheated well the next day. All the more reason why a combo platter of 10 pieces with two different flavors would be great. They can enjoy them fresh then and there rather than having leftovers that do not reheat well.
Loved the staff. Loved the vibe of the place. Place was packed and serving a lot of togos (as is the namesake) along with plenty of dine-ins. I’m surprised the place only stays open till 10 on the weekend. I really feel like it would do incredibly well if it stayed open longer. Here’s what we got: - chilli fries: fries were cut well. Just wish it had a bit more flavor - masala coke: think masala soda but with coke. Solid if you like masala drinks. - malai masala momo: not spicy. More on the sweet and spicy side. Pretty good and flavorful. - tikka momo: solid. Not very brothy. - sizzling brownie: would not recommend. Brownie wasn’t very hot. ————————————————————— SECOND VIST: Still a good place with kind service. Unfortunately we just didn't like the flavors we ordered this time around. Here's what we got: - Steamed Chili Momo: we thought this would be akin to dumplings we get a Chinese restaurants and would have chili oil. Unfortunately, that was not the case and instead had a lot of gravy that tasted like it was made with ketchup. We were not a fan, but others could be. - Manchurian momo: this was good. Tasted like Manchurian. Wish it was spicier. - Honey chili fries: not very spicy and the fries weren't very crispy. All-in-all, we still like the place and see us coming back to try other flavors.
We are momo/dumpling lovers and the momos from Momos2Go are very delicious. I am yet to try all their varieties but my favorite has always been Steamed Momo and the steamed momos here were tasty. The momo chutney was exactly the way it should be with the correct spiciness. We also had the Himalayan Special Chicken Fried Rice and it was delicious too.
Food was very good, kind of expensive for a hole in the wall type eatery. Portion sizes were decent, a momo will run you about 15 dollars after tax. I think the biggest improvement this place could use is a better seating arrangement. Just seemed a little cramped. Also, trash bin was overflowing for the duration of me eating there so trash was piling around the edge. This place is suitable for most group sizes and food comes out decently fast. Would recommend for a late night bite with friends.
Visited this location for the first time after a recommendation, and it was a bit of a mixed experience. We tried the Malai Masala Momo, which were just okay; they felt a bit like eating heavy cream with masala and didn't quite live up to the hype for our taste. The Szechuan Chow Mein had a good kick of spice but was otherwise average. Paneer Manchurian was just pathetic, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. To drink, the mango lassi was very sweet. While the ambiance was just okay, the service was notably quick. It wasn't quite what we expected for our first visit.
Not recommended!!!! We used to get tasty chicken Momos from Momos 2 go almost twice in a month. But today, we are really disappointed for the oil and salt they have put in to tandoori Momos. Check out first image for the oil quantity and second image after we tried to drain all the oil from the box. Still the gravy is very oily and salty. It causes very high cholesterol and spike in sodium levels. Very much disappointed. No more Momos from this place
Surrounded my many offices and located in a lil pricey place. It’s a self service place serving momo Nepali style , fusion Delhi style momo, chaap and some Chinese food. We ordered steamed veg momo , afgani momo , soya chaap and fried rice. Out of everything only fried rice was good. Momo stuffing was good but the covering was very thick. Afgani sauce taste good when hot but after if momo the sauce went cold and it became inedible. Soya chaap too was bad. Price wise priced higher than any good Nepali restaurant serving this momo . For a self service restaurant the prices were high. We wasted momo and chap too was wasted like 80%
