Pho Empire Irving Reviews
Fantastic authentic flavors. Ate here twice in three weeks.
Love the food here. Come here often. The service is so-so at times. I've learned that if you want the appetizer first, you have to order separately long before you order your main entree. They have brought our main dish before the appetizer many times. Otherwise, great food!
Stopped by for lunch. We were seated immediately. Server was polite and helpful with recommendations. Tried the spring rolls, and 3 types of pho (seafood pho, brisket, and eye of round). Food was delicious, fresh and full of flavor. Absolutely loved it. Restrooms were clean and stocked.
Pretty positive experience. As the nature of the food suggests, Pho is a soul food. The food was delicious and the prices were pretty reasonable. The restaurant itself had a good ambience and the service was impeccable too. Overall it’s a very positive experience and I would recommend this place to all my friends. We ordered the following items and overall the bill was around $48: 1. Combo Appetizer 2. Roasted Chicken Wings 3. Classic Chicken Noodle Soup 4. Chicken Thigh Noodle Soup
Amazing food & service! It’s hard to find a tasty and quickly service but this place here is always my favorite to stop by when in Irving. I love their shrimp spring rolls, always so fresh! Their shrimp tempura is always so crunchy and tasteful! Pho is amazing here definitely stop by and check this place out!
A surprisingly nice, spacious, and clean Vietnamese restaurant. A lot of the times Asian restaurants may prioritize food and efficiency over cleanliness and spaciousness but was very pleasantly surprised by how nice and clean it was. Good service. I enjoyed my grilled pork Banh Mi and the mango smoothie I got. My friend and I also shared egg rolls (Chao gio) and liked them. And it was cheap! $4.99 for the banh mi! Would recommend and would come again!
I visited Dallas in February, and it was the coldest time of the year. Because of the cold weather, I really wanted to eat Pho, so I searched for restaurants around the hotel, and Pho Empire came up in the search results, so I drove there right away. When I went into the restaurant, it was very spacious, had great interior, and had a clean and quiet atmosphere. I ordered Meatball Pho, and the Pho broth was clean and good, and there were a lot of Meatballs, so I had a very satisfying meal. The staff were very friendly, and the pho was good, so I plan to come back again next time I visit Dallas for business.
Been here many times over the years and the food is always good. On this visit, we ordered Roasted Chicken Wings, Small Bowl of Wonton, Seafood Pho, Kids Noodle Soup with Brisket, Pho Empire, Kids Steamed Rice with Fried Shrimp & Calamari, and Blueberry Smoothie. Everyone loved the food and the service was quick. They were open on New Year's Day, which was great because not many places are open.
The food came out extremely fast. Great safety precautions put in place. Very clean restaurant and flavorful pho. Loved it! Whenever I need my pho fix, this is the only place that I go in the DFW area. The food always comes out so fast and so fresh, and there’s always so much to eat. My favorite to get is the brisket and meatball pho which comes with rice noodles, meatballs, brisket, jalapeños, bean sprouts and their delicious beef broth. There are also other appetizers to try here, in which I typically get the shrimp tempura. It always comes out crunchy with their sweet and spicy sauce that pairs perfectly with it. For those who are beginners when it comes to pho or Vietnamese food, I would highly recommend this place.
Pho broth had deep beef flavor but not very pronounced in the spices... Chicken on my vermicelli salad was lacking texture and flavor :( I couldn't finish it
This restaurant is always reliable and consistent in flavor and quality. Their menu has a large variety of traditional Vietnamese food. The pho is delicious and consistent. The spring rolls and egg rolls are really good too. They give you a good size portion for the cost. It has a lot of seating and parking. And the service is always good. It’s our families reliable go to place at least twice a month.
I wanted to love it, especially since it’s been 10 years since my last visit, but I’m still walking away disappointed. The pho looks beautiful, but the broth lacks the depth and flavor I've come to expect from other spots in the area. The spring rolls were also just 'meh.' It’s a shame, but I don't think I'll be back anytime soon.
Lunch stop for some Viet food.. saw this place recommended in a food group. The decor was pretty and lots of table options. It was pretty empty at 1PM which made us a little nervous. Service was quick and friendly, except we had to hunt down some chopsticks. We got bun bo hue, and pho ga. Both were ok, but we had to add lots of sauces to get more flavor. Decent meat portions and noodles. I would skip the shrimp appetizer, they were ewww and the rolls were just ok. I wouldn't say it was in the top 10 or worth returning, but if I was in the area I might try it again.
Good service. The staff was friendly and prompt. The Phò Bo empire was really flavorful and filling. The grilled pork spring rolls we're amazing with the creamy peanut sauce but the pineapple fried rice was lackluster. The Vietnamese iced coffee was a bit thin on the chicory flavor but was still pretty good. All in all it was a very nice experience and will be back.
The restaurant itself was clean. The food came out sooooo fast! The chicken & vegetables were okay. The chicken sandwich was dry! The chicken was dry & tasted like it had been cooked earlier and reheated, the bread was dry and flaky. The pho was good. Overall experience was not bad however I wouldn’t eat here again.
This is what I got "Grilled chicken bread", picture on the left and picture on the right is from their menu on Door Dash app. Please respect the customer by using the correct food on the menu. If you are running out the food, you should let the customer know. I think I got the steam chicken added soy sauce seasoning instead of grilled chicken. More than that, I found a hair after eating half of the bread. Hair is showing in this picture.
Out of the 4 items that I ordered, 2 were incorrect, and 1 of the items arrived quite late. The 1st item was an appetizer, which was completely incorrect from what I ordered. They did go back to make the order correctly, but the correct appetizer came out as my guest and I were finishing our meals. I ordered 4 of the same items as a go-to meal for my family. All 4 of the to-go items were made incorrectly. I did not find this out until I was halfway home. Note: I live in a different state. I understand that mistakes happen. But I remember clearly and multiple times telling and pointing to the item on the menus to ensure the accuracy of my order. The first person I spoke to on the phone refused any wrongdoing, then I spoke to the manager. She said that the only way she could refund my order was if I came back to the restaurant. At this point, when I called, I was several hundred miles away from the restaurant. I paid with a debit card. I'm sure they still had the transaction on file. It's a POS system, and they keep this information. She offered that if and when I came back to Texas to come into the restaurant, she would give me the 4 correct items. This is a polite but unrealistic gesture. I live in Missouri, and if I did return to Texas in the next year, I'm not sure that I would want to return to this specific restaurant. It just was not a great experience. There were multiple large groups of people, and it seemed like that was the priority for the workers and not individuals in small groups.
I’ve been coming to Pho Empire for 6 years, but after my last two experiences, I’m never coming back. In October, I ordered the K2 and found mold on my tofu (see picture below). That should have been my sign to stop coming, but I gave them another chance. Today, I ordered the K2 again and found a bug in my food. I was so grossed out I couldn’t even take a picture—I just wanted it off my plate. It’s really disappointing to see how much the quality and cleanliness have gone downhill. I don’t know why I came back after the mold incident. Absolutely unacceptable. I won’t be making this mistake again.
Went at 8pm on a Tuesday night. I should've known the quality wasn't going to be good because I saw not a single Vietnamese person eating. Service was quick We got the spring rolls, pho empire and a bun bo hue. The spring rolls- came with cha Lua (pork roll/ham) and not the traditional pork belly The pho empire- according to my bf, he said "tasted like soup to me" The bun bo hue- 2/10 stars. It was so bland and had zero flavor. I had to ask the waitress to bring me fish sauce so I could add it to my broth. Just judging by the color of the broth; I knew it wasn’t going to be good. $32 for all 3. I probably won't be coming back, at least not for the bun bo hue.
