We had a snack at this bar on a Sunday afternoon. We weren't sure if the Amalfi and the Papillon were the same thing because we were sitting at the Amalfi and the man told us to sit at the tables at the top of the sun, which were still his (but in front of the Papillon). Even when we ordered, we had seen the sfogliatelle and pasticciotti in the window, and the lady told us they were at the Amalfi but that she would go get them, so who knows. The order was taken fairly quickly, but the wait was long, and the coffee arrived plain instead of macchiato, even though the lady had asked during the order if it was macchiato.

One of the best views on the beach. We had drinks a few days and I ordered tuna bread. The bread was quite expensive considering how miserable it was. The quality seemed to vary a bit depending on the day we went. The ice cream portions looked amazing.

We stopped here for a quick snack. All in all—including ordering, waiting, eating, and paying—it took about 50 minutes, which is quite long for espresso, a lemonade, and two focaccias. The focaccia with tuna had hardly any tuna on it (see photo). The taste was okay, more like 2.5/5. On the plus side, they accommodated special requests, such as no eggplant in the veggie dish. The lemonade, however, was only 0.2 liters, which wasn't enough for me. I paid directly at the cashier to speed things up. Overall, I wouldn't come back.

Typical touristic place right by the lake. Views spectacular service ok. Missed a little the typical Italian atmosphere there.

Seated at 5:15 PM, ordered at 5:40 PM, served at 5:57 PM We ordered a coffee and a juice (€6). Only one person can take orders, so it's a constant "I'll send my colleague." The guy next to him needs to order a 20-minute coffee; he was seen and told "I'll be right there"... Order never arrived...

Everything is bad, especially the service... they scammed us! We paid 9€ for 2 scoops of ice cream. The food is terrible. I'm really sad about this why are people like this?! 🙁🙁🙁

A large lakeside place that is seriously understaffed. Sat at a table for 20 minutes, didn’t even get acknowledged by the sole waitress. Went inside to see if we could order at the bar but rather rudely told we would have to wait for the waitress. Lots of other people having the same problems as us and like us eventually got up and left.

Rude! Extremely rude! After some ten minutes, the waiter took our order for two caffè shakerato amaro. After some 15 minutes of waiting, we finally saw our waiter and reminded him of our order. He replied that we would have two wait for 10 minutes. When we told him that we had been waiting already for more than ten minutes, he offered to cancel the order.
