I'm so glad that they have vegan options! The vegan street tacos are delicious, and I wouldn't pass on the passion fruit agua fresca.

When they say the diablita pupusa is spicy you better believe them. I keep coming back! Great prices, great portion sizes, amazing food.

This spot is a hidden gem in Isla Vista. Plenty of delicious options for food ranging from tacos to burritos to pupusas and much more. Agua fresca is tasty and the spice palette is amazing. Everything on the menu is gluten free. The staff is friendly, the food is hot, and there is a pleasant patio to sit on to eat. Amazing value for the money. Highly recommended!

The food here is so good. I would go here over any other Mexican restaurant (they have great dishes from other Central American countries too) My wife has celiacs so not having to worry about cross contamination was nice. The owner greeted us from the kitchen when we were ordering and I think it's pretty cool to be able to see a businesses where the owner is there working with their staff.

Amazing dedicated gluten free menu for me being totally GF, but my entire family loved it! Vegan options were numerous as well. Potatoe pupusas and potato taquitos were delicious 😋

What a happy discovery for my wife and I! Our pupusas were perfect, the curtido was the best I've ever tasted and the salsa roja was spot on! The atmosphere inside was very nice and the staff and the owner could not have been nicer! This restaurant is a true gem! Next time we are back in the area, we are for sure coming back!

Elubia has done it again! Authentic and wonderful Guatemalan and Honduran cuisine. A continuation of her fantastic food truck in Goleta, this location has great indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy pupusas, burritos, or tamales. The menu has some new additions and we highly recommend stopping by to check it out. The added bonus that everything is 100% Gluten Free and is a dedicated place for anyone with celiac or gluten allergies to enjoy.

I come from Guatemalan and Salvadorean parents. The food, smell, and music in this place it's like I'm at my tias place eating her home cooked meals. Amazing and delicious. Will certainly come back multiple times.

Outstanding!!!! We came for the vegan options and ended up trying several vegan AND meat/dairy entrees. HIGHLY recommend. Excellent food, excellent quality, excellent price. What a gem for the local IV community!!

We came in from Orange County and found this absolutely delicious gem! Everything was so good and made with care. I had the street tacos and they were so fresh and the homemade tortillas were delicious. The rice was amazing. Others in my party had the papusas (delicious), the carne asada enchilada(amazing) and a burrito. Also, those who like spice the very hot salsa delivers! Its a great story and great food. We will go again before we go home, wishing there was one closer!

I got drawn here because of some deals, and it was so worth it! I've been in IV for a short time, but this is my favorite spot so far. Nice big menu with things I don't often find, like tamales, pupusas, and an actually spicy salsa option (for anyone else into that). Nicely filling for the money I spent. Functional but welcoming outdoor seating.

First time eating Guatemalan food and it was delicious! Between the people in our family we seemingly tried everything on the menu and it was all good. Elubia was in the kitchen cooking and she was so sweet and wanted to be sure we liked our meal. The fact that everything is gluten free was a huge bonus for our family (celiac) but even without that we agree it was a delicious dinner. FYI our google map had us park around the corner at the market and kept routing us to the market.

Delicious food! As someone with a gluten allergy and loves latin fusion foods it’s incredibly hard to find a place that even sells a gluten free option. The burrito is amazing along with the guacamole! All gluten free!

Came for the pupusas & got to try a Guatemalan dish as well, my Pupusa was big but it tasted under cooked & wants satisfied with the revuelta, I tasted more beans than cheese & chicharon. For being near a university it was also a bit pricey for each pupusa

I ordered three pupusa revueltas and I won’t be coming back. The pupusas are big but these are the worst revueltas I’ve ever tasted. The pupusas were mainly watery beans and full of big pieces of fat. I literally had to take apart the pupusas and pick out these pieces. I have been eating and cooking pupusas my entire life and this is not at all how pupusas revueltas should be prepared. Maybe because this place is in Isla Vista, they feel they can get away with such a low quality dish but I am very frustrated that I drove in from Santa Barbara and spent my money on this. I’m new to the area and was looking for a pupuseria and unfortunately, I will be crossing this place off my list. On top of the bad pupusas, they only packed 2 small things of curtido and one tiny red salsa. I ordered three pupusas and should have been given enough curtido/salsa for all three. I ate the food because I had already paid for it and won’t waste but seriously, y’all know 100% that this is not how pupusas revueltas should taste. Giving 2/5 stars because at least the dough was well cooked and the curtido was delicious.

Waited for a call ahead order for 45 minutes. Only waited because we had 8 people waiting on this food. Somehow the food was cold when we got home. Terrible experience. Wasted a lot of money for cold food and a long wait.
